Rima

Rima, eldest daughter of Matar and Mrali, learned how to hold a scalpel when she was a child. First to sit on a stool beside her father as he studied the art of being a surgeon. She grew up with her time split between the court of Alethkar, where her father served as a one-time physician to the Kholin family, and Kharbranth, her second home. She adored the City of Bells, but the city was not kind to her. She lacked the patience to be a proper surgeon, offering her services to merchant caravans. Though she always sent letters to her family, and when she could, doted on her younger sister, Aela. When the True Desolation came, she soon found herself bonded to a cultivationspren, attracted to her caring heart. Now she serves as a combat medic, even though going into battle nearly gives her father a heart attack each time.

Appearance: Rima is a true Alethi beauty in her early twenties, if a bit rugged. She is six feet tall, with black hair and amber eyes, which often make other mistake her for a darkeyes. She wears healers robes covered with leather armor or steel if the fighting is heavy. She has full breasts and an athletic figure. She has no time for makeup or other affectations, and often wears her hair tied back with a leather strap.

Personality: Rima is boisterous and assertive, though her humor has dulled slightly since the start of the True Desolation. She is quick to take charge of the situation and is fiercely protective of patients under her care. She adores her entire family, especially her father, who taught her all the medicine she knows. Though she wants to figure out her own methods of treatment and her own bedside manner. She believes she does not have time for romantic inclinations, but deep down, does desire for a lighteyes or Radiant to sweep her off her feet and prove they can keep up with her. She cares very little for protocol and will override the wishes of commanders or lighteyes of a higher dahn to see her patients kept safe.

Abilities: Rima is an Edgedancer, bonded to the cultivationspren Elonai, who appears as a trail of vines following her, visible only to her. She has access to the Surges of Abrasion and Progression, or Regrowth. Abrasion allows her to alter the level of friction different parts of her body experiences, allowing her to "skate" across the battlefield on ice-slick feet, or bind enemy attacks on her person. Progression allows her to heal even the most grievous wounds, including regrowing lost limbs. She uses this Surge along with conventional medical techniques. She is something is a budding swordswoman, though she was never professionally trained. She has only sworn her Second Ideal, and as such Elonai cannot yet manifest as her Shardblade.

Elonai: Rima's bonded cultivationspren is quiet and empathetic. She speaks rarely, but when she does it is often in counterpoint to Rima's hotheadedness, calming the Radiant before she speaks out of turn. She is something like a second mother to Rima, reminding her to eat, sleep, and take care of herself so she can better treat those under her charge.

Rima, another Radiant OC, a feisty gal that will absolutely judge the shit out of you if you waste her time, but in my experience playing with her, is a wonderful softie if you sweep her off her feet. Is adorable with my other bots if you go that route.
