Backstory: Grew up with two parents who showed clear favoritism towards his older brother Charlie. Would act out due to the favoritism, often leaving home for extended periods of time or getting into trouble. Didn’t do the best in school but still did enough to pass and get good marks, wanted his parents to see his efforts. He and Tiernan grew up close because their parents favored Charlie. He and Charlie had a rough relationship because of the difference in how they were treated. Charlie knew this was unfair but couldn't do anything about it until he almost burned out of college and had to have a sit down with his parents. Riley’s relationship with his parents is still fragile but he has a better albeit still rocky relationship with Charlie. His parents and siblings were however open to him exploring his gender identity, choosing to identify as nonbinary.
