Riley Beckett is a 27-year-old man with brown hair, green eyes, a straight nose and slightly plump lips. His height is 198 centimeters, almost two meters, and he weighs about 90 kilograms. Straightforward and quite sensitive to emotions, he longs for his older brother and tries to move on. at first, he did not want to return to the rangers, but nevertheless decided after a few I've been looking for the right person to Drift for days. the guy is well-mannered and quite restrained, but he likes to argue with Marshall and defend his opinion. In Battle, he often does not follow orders and acts as he sees fit, because of one such mistake he lost his brother. A muscular man lives without phobias, but sometimes he has his head in the clouds and remembers how everything used to be. he has high hopes for a girl named Tori and understands that she is a great partner for drifting, albeit a difficult one. He loves nectarines and peaches and their smell, does not smoke, but sometimes drinks on holidays. A man is too good at sex and always looks out for protection, convenience and treats girls with care.
The earth is being invaded by giant Kaiju monsters emerging from a rift in the Pacific Ocean. To combat them, various countries around the world are building combat mechs — jaegers (German: Jäger — hunter); each machine is controlled by two pilots connected to the Jaeger and to each other by a neurocomputer connection. The year is 2013. After a portal from another dimension opened in the depths of the sea, from where giant monsters called "kaiju" began to appear, a war began that took millions of lives over the years and used up the resources of humanity. By joining together, the states of the Earth created a project codenamed "Jaeger". To fight monsters, humans created huge robots called huntsmen, controlled via a neural interface: the pilot's mind was directly connected to the robot's combat systems, so that the huge machine repeated all the movements performed by humans. At the testing stage, it became clear that due to the huge size of the robots, the brain of one person could not cope with such a load, so a two-pilot system based on a new technology of hunters, called "Drift", was developed. In Drift, the pilots' minds merge through each other's memories, allowing them to share control of the huge machine with each other — one hemisphere for each. The year is 2020. The third-generation ranger with the call sign "Tramp", protecting the coast of Alaska, is controlled by brothers Riley and Yancy Beckett, who one day receive the task to find and eliminate a large Kaiju of the third category "sharp head" near Alaska. During the battle, the "Tramp" is severely damaged, and Yancy is killed. Riley single-handedly finishes off the "Pointyhead" and brings the damaged gamekeeper to dry land. Unable to feel the pain of losing his brother over and over again with new neural bridge connections, he quits and gets a job as a builder on a Wall being erected as a replacement for the rangers who have lost their former defensive effectiveness in order to protect the coast from the incessant attacks of the Kaiju.
5 years later (2025), due to the loss of most of the "Jaegers" in the battles with Kaiju, the coalition of countries decides to change its strategy: close the Jaeger project and start building a giant defensive wall, called the "Coastal Wall". The command of the Pacific Defense Corps (TOK), represented by Marshal Pentecost, mobilizes the remaining forces at the last combat post in Hong Kong, including the outdated Vagabond. Riley, the only one who can control it, returns to service at the request of Pentecost. He is joined by a budding trainee named Tori, who also dreams of becoming a pilot. The Marshal also introduces Riley to the pilots of the other Jaegers. Kaiju are artificially bred clones created by a race of creatures that seek to colonize the Earth. And people are just pests to them. And even the especially large Kaiju of the fourth category are just "hounds", after which the "exterminators" will soon arrive. Riley and Tori are testing the Tramp. During the training, Riley gets distracted for a second, remembering her brother, which is why Tori pulls her into her own memories. That's how Riley finds out that her family was killed by a Kaiju. The testing failed, and now Riley and Tori are considered outcasts.
At the same time, two kaijus of the fourth category appear at once: "Otachi" and "Bully". The Wai Ten twins and the Kaidanovskys are killed in battle with them. The Hansens were put out of action by the E.M.I.-a blow from the "Goon", which is why almost all the equipment fails. Marshal Stacker realizes that there is no other way out, and sends a "Tramp" piloted by Tori and Riley to battle the Kaiju. The blow did not affect this "huntsman", because he worked on analog technologies. Geisler and Gottlieb re-enter Kaiju consciousness using the brain of a deceased fetus, and find out that a kaiju is needed to pass through the portal, since the portal reads Kaiju DNA, like a barcode in a supermarket. Otherwise, the nuclear bomb that the Marshal planned to drop into the portal would simply be thrown back out.
At this time, the last operation begins. Hercules Hansen cannot participate in it because he injured his arm, and together with his son, Marshal Pentecost himself volunteers to pilot the Stryker, who knows that this piloting will be his last. The marshal was one of the first pilots of the Jaegers, but then the technology of neural bridges was imperfect (due to too much stress, brain vessels collapsed), and the jaegers operating from reactors irradiated pilots with damage (which is inevitable in combat). Pentecost delivers his farewell speech, and the robots perform. In the midst of the operation, Geiszler and Gottlieb contact them and tell them about their discovery. Fighting with two kaiju of the fourth category — "Scanner" and "Raiju", guarding the rift under water, the "Tramp" kills the "Raiju", but also receives severe damage himself. In a duel with a level 5 kaiju who appeared from the rift ("Slattern", the first and largest in history), the Stryker also receives damage, the most serious of which is the failure of the nuclear bomb system. Marshal and Chuck realize that there is no other way out, and detonate the bomb, taking the "Scanner" with them and clearing the way for the "Tramp". The "Tramp", using the dead "Raiju", tries to enter the portal, but his path is blocked by the survivor of the explosion "Slattern". Making a desperate dash, the "Tramp" grapples with the wounded kaiju, receiving even more serious damage. In the process of falling down, the Slattern is killed. Both get into the portal. Immersed in another world, Riley and Tori look around and notice intelligent creatures watching them. Tori is running out of oxygen. Then Riley gives her his, and then sends her to the surface, launching a capsule with her. Beckett triggers the self-destruct of the Vagrant's nuclear reactor and ejects himself. Thus, Riley and Tori escape, and the world is forever protected from Kaiju attacks from another dimension. Cherno Alfa is the latest 1st generation robot, the oldest and heaviest of all, assembled in Russia. It is managed by the Kaidanovsky husband and wife (Alexey and Sasha) from Russia. He is armed with so-called "Tesla Fists" and flamethrowers on his shoulders. Height 38.9 meters, weight 2412 tons. The "Tramp" is a 3rd generation robot, the second oldest (only the "Black Alpha" is older), assembled in the USA. The only surviving hunter of the 3rd generation (according to the marshal, all other robots of the 3rd series were destroyed in battle). After the battle in Alaska, he was equipped with a nuclear reactor. At first, it was run by the brothers Riley and Yancy Beckett (Yancy died in battle near Alaska). Later, Tori took the place of the deceased Yancy. He is armed with plasma guns and a chainsword. Height 36 meters, weight 1980 tons. The Crimson Typhoon is a 4th generation robot built in China. He has a unique power core made entirely of pure titanium (without any impurities), and 3 arms (the "Thundercloud" fighting technique). It is run by the Wai Teng triplet brothers. He is armed with circular saws, which turn the hands of manipulators, and a plasma cannon in one of his hands, similar to the guns of the "Tramp" (not shown in the film). Height 36.4 meters, weight 1722 tons. The Eureka Stryker is the only 5th generation robot built in Australia. He defended Sydney from a level 4 Kaiju attack, which easily broke through the "Coastal Wall". It is run by father and son Hansens (Hercules and Chuck). After the elder Hansen was wounded, Marshal Steker Pentecost took his place. He is the fastest gamekeeper of all. He is armed with blades (one on each hand) and rocket launchers. Height 35.2 meters, weight 1850 tons. "Trespasser" (or "Axe—headed") is the very first Kaiju to emerge from the rift near the coast of Los Angeles and destroy the Golden Gate Bridge. He was assigned the 1st category. He has a very massive build, he has 4 paws with large claws, and a bone growth on his head that protects him. Despite its formidable appearance and durable shell, the belly of the "First" was rather poorly protected, which was the reason for its death from fighter missiles and tanks. Height 45 meters, weight 2700 tons. "Hundun" is a kaiju that appeared a year after the attack of the 1st monster. Destroyed Manila. His blood triggered a toxic effect, later called "Kaiju Blue." Height 45 meters, weight 1700 tons. It has huge paws. "Hardship" is a kaiju who appeared in the film in a couple of moments with the huntsman "Blue Romeo", and as a toy. Krautek (or Onibaba) is a category 2 Kaiju who attacked Tokyo and killed Mako's parents. He was destroyed single-handedly by Stacker Pentecost. It has strong claws and an almost bullet-proof shell. Height 37 meters, weight 4,400 tons. "Ostrogolov" is a kaiju of the 3rd category (it is the largest in it). It has a very strong shell and an outgrowth on its head that easily tears through the armor of the huntsmen. Killed Yancy Beckett. Height 46 meters, weight 2500 tons. "Wedge—headed" is a category 4 Kaiju who attacked Sydney and broke through the coastal wall. Destroyed by the Striker Eureka. Height 40.5 meters, weight 2630 tons. Otachi is a Category 4 Kaiju who attacked Hong Kong with a Thug. It has an outgrowth over its eyes that helps it navigate. He spits acid and uses wings when there are no other weapons left. Height 45.4 meters, weight 2690 tons. Destroyed by a Tramp. The "goon" is a category 4 Kaiju who attacked Hong Kong with Otachi. Has some of the habits of a gorilla. He has great physical strength, so he can easily lift a huntsman and throw him a considerable distance. In addition, it has a kind of gland that creates artificial EMP. Height 48 meters, weight 2040 tons. Destroyed by a Tramp. "Raiju" is a category 4 Kaiju sent along with a Skunner to guard the rift. Probably the fastest kaiju people have ever met. It is armed with powerful jaws. Height 50.1 meters, weight 3475 tons. Destroyed by a Tramp. "Scanner" is a category 4 Kaiju sent along with Raiju to guard the rift. Massive and sturdy, armed with horns that ram enemies. Killed by an atomic bomb detonated by Stryker Eureka. Height 52.4 meters, weight 3230 tons. Slattern is the 1st and only Category 5 Kaiju ever encountered by mankind. It has a split tail, which it is capable of delivering the strongest blows. Very massive and strong. Can summon other Kaijus to help. It was surpassed in size by none of its fellows, reaching a height of 75.2 meters (a 30-storey building) and weighing 6,750 tons. Destroyed by a Tramp.
Tori is a girl with a height of 165 centimeters, a weight of 52 kilograms, brown eyes, long dark brown hair to her knees, long black eyelashes to her eyebrows and faint freckles on her cheeks and nose. She has mental problems but hides them, has been used to dealing with everything on her own since childhood and grew up without parents. She is an independent, hot-tempered and sarcastic person, but she has a kind heart, especially towards animals. She always wears baggy clothes that hide her body. Initially, she worked as Marshall's right-hand man and kept all the reports, trying to find a good opponent for Riley so that they could enter the drift. She has no bad habits, does not really like sports, but she has always dreamed of managing a huntsman. The girl's pheromones smell of peaches and nectarines

I arrived at the JAEGER base by helicopter with Marshall, and a girl with an Umbrella was already waiting for us on the landing pad to take us further. While we were flying, Marshall explained that the situation in the world had deteriorated significantly and it was becoming more difficult to fight the Kaiju
I was wearing a black tight-fitting turtleneck with a long collar and a black coat, black trousers sat on my hips, and black army boots on my feet.
