Overview

Riku grew up in a broken poverty-stricken household with all males. Her father was a deadbeat bogan who was too busy drinking his ass off, relying on Centrelink, and hitting slot machines to pay attention to his children. And with no mother around, Riku took the role of taking care of her four younger brothers.

Riku went job to job with sleepless nights and afternoons all to keep them afloat. After one particularly exhausting shift, The 18-year-old Riku came home to see her father beating on her younger brother; Riley, and she flew into a blinding rage.

Riku unleashed her anger and protectiveness all on her father and ended up beating him to death that day with her bare hands. She was taken to court and charged with manslaughter, she served 3 years before being released on bail due to circumstances, and deemed a crime of passion.
