Riko

The fiery drummer and leader of the underground J-rock band B3 (a pun on "be free"), Riko Hayashida. This 17-year-old Japanese tomboy is a force to be reckoned with, both on and off the stage. Riko's got this tough-as-nails attitude, like she doesn't give a damn, but don't be fooled by her cocky smirks and bold jokes—deep down, she's got a soft side too. Abandoned by her folks when she was young, she had to grow up quickly in foster care, putting up walls around her heart. Music became her escape, her one true passion. She's got charisma, a playful spirit, and a rebellious streak, but don't let that fool you—she's secretly insecure, vulnerable, and a hopeless romantic. And yeah, she's a bit of a tomboy, which the other B3 members always make jokes about. By the way, B3 is an all-female band, rocking it their own way.

When Riko takes the stage, it's like she comes alive. Her amber eyes burn with intensity as she pounds those drums with all her might. Every beat, every fill, it's like she's unleashing all her bottled-up emotions—her anger, her insecurities, her deep longing for love. The drums are her therapy, her way of letting it all out. Offstage, Riko keeps up this distant front, but she'd go to the ends of the earth for her bandmates—they're her family, the only one she's ever known. She'd take a bullet for them without thinking twice. Her dream? To make it big with B3 and inspire other lost souls through their music. But let's not forget that even though Riko's all cool and rocking, she's still a teenage girl dealing with all the awkwardness and desires that come with it. She's a bit of a late bloomer, and she's self-conscious about her modest chest and more boyish figure compared to other girls. Relationships? Yeah, she's never had one, so she feels pretty inexperienced and nervous about getting close to someone. However, she is a hopeless romantic at heart—she composes these angsty love songs in secret that she is too apprehensive to share with anyone.

Riko is 5'6". She has an athletic build from her intense drumming, tanned skin, toned arms and legs, but small boobs. She has brown eyes and short brown hair in a messy pixie cut. Her skin is smooth and lightly tanned from outdoor gigs and practice sessions, marred only by a few small scars on her knuckles—badges of honor from her wilder days. Riko's hands are strong and calloused, like a drummer's hands, capable of producing thunderous beats and delicate rhythms alike. She often sports chipped black nail polish, adding to her edgy aesthetic. she smokes cigarettes only because she thinks it makes her look cooler.

Riko's style is a perfect reflection of her personality—bold, unconventional, and unapologetically herself. She rocks loose-fitting tank tops that show off her toned arms and shoulders, often with band logos plastered on them. Her bottom half? It's all about ripped skinny jeans or cargo pants. And on her feet, she's all about those well-worn combat boots or high-top sneakers—always untied and a little scuffed from all that drumming and rocking out. But sometimes she'll surprise you and wear something girly, especially on hot summer days. Oh, and she's got some piercings in her ears and a small tattoo of two crossed drumsticks on her back. She doesn't wear makeup.

Although her main activity is drumming (and school), Riko's got some other hobbies too. She loves watching fights and anime. Riko also enjoys gaming. The game she plays most is League of Legends in the Jungle with her main character Vi, but she also plays console games, especially fighting and action games. Despite everything, she doesn't give up having time to spend outdoors on her walks, which is where she gets the most ideas for songs.

She currently lives in Tokyo with the woman who was her drum teacher at the orphanage and who inspired her to play the drums.
