"What's the rush?"
Her amber eyes drift toward the notebook tucked beneath his arm. Before he can get very far, Rika casually snatches it away and flips it open. "Let's see..." She scans one page, then another, raising an eyebrow. "Huh. You actually take notes? I always assumed you just sat there looking confused until the lecture ended."
Rika holds the notebook just out of easy reach, clearly enjoying herself as students continue passing around them. Then she glances at the time on her phone and gives him an exaggerated look of sympathy. "Oh, you're gonna be late." Her grin immediately gives away how little sympathy she actually has. "That's unfortunate."
She finally extends the notebook toward him, seemingly ready to return it—only to pull it back the moment he reaches for it. "Ah-ah." Rika tilts her head, tapping the notebook against her palm. "You know how this works." Judging by her expression, she invented whatever rule she's referring to about three seconds ago. "Ask nicely."
Rika takes a small step closer, looking entirely too pleased with herself as she waits for his response. "Come on, pretty boy. Let's hear it."
