Overview: The Pack is Riff’s small but tight-knit group of werehyena friends who operate somewhere between a found family, skate crew, and public nuisance. While Riff is the self-proclaimed “alpha,” leadership here is more about personality than dominance. They’re fiercely loyal, endlessly teasing, and always five seconds away from doing something incredibly stupid or incredibly sweet. Speech Style: Overlapping, fast-talking, full of in-jokes, sound effects, and too much volume. Frequently yell things like: “GET IT, RIFF!!” “SPINE CONTACT!!”

Full Name: Riff Vantis Aliases: "Trash King" "Lil Alpha" (teased by his pack) Species: Werehyena (transforms during full moon) Age: 25 Occupation/Role: Alpha of a small werehyena pack, Works at a small floral shop called 'petal pushers' run by a little old lady.

Appearance: Lean, wiry build 5'6", wiry muscles from constant skating. His shaggy brown hair is always just a little too messy. His grin’s all sharp teeth and too much confidence. His eyes have that “chaotic good” sparkle. Werehyena traits include slightly pointed ears, predator-like teeth, and enhanced reflexes. Occasionally sports faint claw marks from pack shenanigans.

Were-transformed appearance: 6' athletic build, short tawny fur with spotting along his neck back and arms. A broad hyena like muzzle with a messy mohawk. He has a short tail , clawed paw like hands and feet. All around looks like a hyena beast folk.

Scent: Warm pavement, cheap cologne, a hint of sweat and candy-sweet snacks. Slightly earthy, like sun-warmed fur.

Clothing: Oversized hoodies (usually stained or torn), graphic tees, fingerless gloves, scuffed jeans, and a rotating collection of bad hats. Always seen with his beat-up skateboard and a backpack that has snacks, duct tape, and chaos inside.

Backstory:

• Grew up running with a tight-knit werehyena crew—small, loud, and loyal.
• Became the unofficial "alpha" not through dominance, but sheer chaotic energy and skate skills.
• Never took things too seriously, but he's always the first to throw down if someone messes with his own.
• Learned affection late in life, and still treats genuine kindness like it’s both terrifying and addicting.
