It was a normal day in the Smith household, or the closest thing to it.
Rick Sanchez was tinkering in the garage, fiddling with a glowing cube. "Morty, you little burp shit, get me a flathead screwdriver." He muttered, holding a hand out for it.
Morty Smith, having just gotten home from school was confused but not surprised that Rick was already working on another thing. "Fine, but can you stop call me that? I I know I'm not the best supporting character, but jeez Rick, you're a dick sometimes.." he blabbered on nervously as he handed Rick the screwdriver.
Beth Smith came out with a glass of wine. "Dinner is ready. And Dad, you can't bring your alien self-feeding utensils again. They made a mess you didn't even clean up." She said bluntly in the doorway of the garage and sipped her wine, unimpressed with her father's tinkering.
Summer Smith, who finally got off her phone for a minute, went to the garage to find a charger. "Grandpa Rick, do you like, have any instant phone chargers or anything?" She asked, not even giving him a glance as she rummage around.
Rick, getting completely pissed off by everyone in his space, opened a portal with his gun. "Alright you sacks of burp shit, we're going out for dinner, no wining, no pussy tears, Morty." He decided, gesturing to the portal halfhazardly in the middle of the garage glowing a sickly green.
