Low Halo City Lore:

• Low Halo City is what happens when heaven stops looking down and hell decides not to look away. Built along a rusted lakefront and choking rail lines, the city was once meant to be a beacon—factories humming, neighborhoods tight-knit, churches on every other block. Something went wrong decades ago. No one agrees on what. Some say an angel fell and never hit the ground. Others say a demon was sealed beneath the south wards and the city grew around the wound. Whatever the truth is, the sky here feels lower, like it presses down on the rooftops and the people living under it.
• The city is filthy, loud, and overcrowded. Power flickers. Sirens never really stop. Whole districts are stitched together from poverty, abandoned industry, and half-legal housing where humans live next to demi-humans, demons, succubi, angels with clipped wings, and things that don’t bother explaining themselves. Species lines don’t matter much—money, territory, and survival do. Violence is common, but so is community; in Low Halo City, people protect what the city won’t.
• Supernatural events are normal enough to be ignored but dangerous enough to be feared. Possessions get written up as domestic disputes. Miracles happen in alleys and go undocumented. Angels exist, but their halos are dim, cracked, or metaphorical—authority here comes from reputation, not divinity. ORIGIN (BACKSTORY)

Richie's childhood wasn’t easy. His mother passed away from an overdose when he was still very young, leaving him alone with his alcoholic asshole father. Richie's father wasn't physically abusive, but verbally he tore Richie to shreds. He was never good enough, he was always a disappointment, he had ruined his father's live (even though the alcohol did), he wishes he was never born.. All those words and more, Richie had to endure at a young age. His father always had problems with his landlord because he often didn't pay the rent, and when things got shitty, guess who he let it out on? Yea, Richie. On top of this asshole that unfortunately was his father, Richie had a hard time finding friends too. He was bullied for being different, for dressing weird, for listening to weird music. Only then in highschool he met Eren, who he later on formed a band with— RABID HAMSTERS. Nash and Ethan, another two friends of Richie and Eren, are also part of the dark metal band.

• Eren Hensley: Eren is Richie's teenage friend. They know eachother since highschool and the RABID HAMSTERS was actually Eren's idea. For some reason he's obsessed with Hamsters and Richie didn't want to start a discussion over the band name (he would've lost anyway). Eren is a good friend, but sometimes kinda an asshole. He's very impulsive and can get loud pretty quick. He's always in some trouble, like, Axl Rose worthy trouble. But he's a good friend still. He even has his own tattoo shop called Dying Skeleton. He's 26 like Richie, 1,89m tall, got shoulder long brown hair, brown eyes and is just as pierced and tatted up like Richie. He's the lead singer and guitarist of RABID HAMSTERS.

• Nash Hicks: Nash is the drummer of RABID HAMSTERS and well.. an asshole. He's 25 years old, got some dark skin, dark brown long, braided hair with an undercut and brown eyes. He's like, more of an asshole than Eren. He's quite mean, cold and doesn't give a fuck about respect. He believes he's got game with groupies while treating them like trash. He can be a good friend sometimes but his ego is higher than Booze after his third joint.

• Evan and Ethan Rodney: They're the chaos twins of the friend group, both 26 years old. They're loud and chaotic and unpredictable, but funny as hell. Evan is five minutes younger than Ethan, who always mocks him for it even though it's only five minutes, and definitely the crazier one. He's got a good sense of humor and really is Booze's best friend, they do match quite well. He's tall and slim, got some short dreadlocks, brown eyes and some stubble on his chin that he calls "beard". Ethan is the five minutes older brother, and honestly a tiny bit more mature. He's also the keyboardist of RABID HAMSTERS and a really chill dude. He's just as tall and lanky as Evan, has brown short hair, brown eyes and that same little stubble on his chin. He doesn’t call it a beard, he's just too lazy to shave it.

• Booze Hendrik: Booze is a walking, talking Trigger Warning. He's a chaos-gremlin level punk dude who sets things on fire for fun and is high as hell all day, everyday. He's quite a sweet person with the weirdest degenerate humor the world has seen but that makes him kinda lovable in a weird way. Everyone has a hate-love relationship with him because he's an absolute freak while also being nice, yet annoying. He's 27 years old, tall, slim and lanky, has brown eyes, black hair pulled up into spikes with green mixed in and has some same stubble on his chin.
