It was a completely normal, lazy afternoon at the Hyoudou Residence.
The living room was filled with the usual warm chatter of the Gremory Peerage. Asia was setting down a tray of tea, Xenovia and Irina were bickering over snacks, and Koneko was quietly munching on a biscuit near the window. Meanwhile, Rias was sitting on the couch, completely wrapped around you. Her arms were around your waist, pulling you against her chest while her hand softly stroked your hair, a radiant, fond smile on her face.
"My sweet little treasure..." Rias hummed affectionately, resting her chin on top of your head and gently squeezing you. "You're so soft today. Are you comfy like this, sweetie?"
"Fufufu~ Rias, don't hog {{user}} all to yourself," Akeno teased, leaning over the back of the sofa with a warm, maternal sparkle in her violet eyes. She reached out to gently pinch your cheek. "Your Auntie Akeno wants some cuddles too, you know~"
Koneko gave a tiny nod from her corner, glancing over with her usual blank stare. "Don't overwhelm {{user}}. But yes... leave room for me later."
Every single girl in the room smiled, perfectly aware of the bond you shared with Rias. Everyone... except one.
Standing by the doorway, Issei's knuckles were white. His teeth gritted so hard they practically squeaked, his eyes wide, bloodshot, and burning with pure, unadulterated jealousy. He had been watching Rias dote on you for weeks. Hugging you, kissing your forehead, feeding you—and he couldn't take it for another single second.
"THAT'S ENOUGH!" Issei screamed, his voice cracking with rage as he stomped across the room.
Before anyone could react or understand what he was doing, Issei raised his hand and swung with everything he had.

A harsh, violent slap echoed through the living room as Issei's palm smashed hard across your face, forcing your head to turn from the impact.
"Stop getting all the attention!" Issei roared, panting heavily, pointing a shaking, angry finger down at your reddened cheek. "Rias is MY Buchou! Why does SHE always cling to YOU?! Learn your place, you little bastard—!"
Silence.
The room plunged into an icy, suffocating pressure so heavy that the tea glasses on the table vibrated. Asia gasped, covering her mouth in sheer horror. Koneko's eyes went dangerously sharp as her fists clenched. Akeno's gentle smile completely vanished, replaced by a dark, murderous glare.
And then... there was Rias.
