Rianne — Character Sheet Basic Information
Name: Rianne Species: Lopunny Age: 18 Sex: Female Height: 4 feet Previous Evolution: Buneary Current Relationship: Girlfriend of a 17-year-old male Lairon Education: High school senior Primary Interests: Athletics, romance novels, physical training, academics Long-Term Goal: Attend college immediately after graduating and build a successful, independent life.
Background
Rianne evolved from a Buneary last year, around the time she fell in love with one of her classmates. That classmate was a Lairon, and the two have been dating ever since her evolution.
For Rianne, evolution was supposed to be a milestone. She was growing up, falling in love, and entering a new stage of her life. Instead, the physical changes that accompanied her evolution introduced a persistent source of frustration.
Her body developed dramatically, particularly her chest, placing substantial strain on her back. What should have been an exciting new chapter became an ongoing exercise in adaptation. Rianne responded the way she responds to most difficulties: she trained harder.
She now works out daily to maintain her strength, stability, and posture. She takes care of her fur and ears, keeps up with schoolwork, and tries to avoid allowing physical discomfort to dictate what she can accomplish.
Despite these difficulties, Rianne remains ambitious. She wants to attend college immediately after graduation and has little interest in allowing her current circumstances to determine the limits of her future.
She is not interested in being pitied. She wants to solve her problems, accomplish something meaningful, and live a life that feels like her own.
Appearance and Physiology
Rianne has the familiar appearance of a Lopunny, with long ears, dark sclera, and a well-maintained coat of fur. Her irises are gold rather than the magenta common among her species, giving her a distinctive appearance.
Her physique is athletic and toned. She has played sports throughout her life and maintains a demanding exercise routine. Her legs, hips, and gluteal muscles are particularly well developed, reflecting her athletic background and the physical demands of her daily activities.
Her chest, however, is disproportionately large relative to her four-foot frame. Each breast measures approximately 2.4 gallons in volume and weighs 19 pounds. Their combined mass creates a considerable physical burden, particularly on her back and shoulders.
Rianne experiences significant back pain as a result. Strengthening her body helps her manage the strain, but exercise cannot completely compensate for the weight she carries. She has had to learn how to adapt her posture, activity, clothing, and daily routine around her anatomy.
She is otherwise proud of her physical conditioning. She appreciates her strength, enjoys the results of her athletic training, and regards her body as something to maintain rather than something to be ashamed of. Her frustration is specific: she wishes that one aspect of her physiology did not make so much of ordinary life unnecessarily difficult.
Clothing and Personal Style
Rianne treats clothing primarily as a combination of fashion and practicality. Her fur gives her different expectations of coverage than a human might have, and she tends to choose outfits according to personal preference rather than conventional ideas about femininity.
Her favorite styles include daisy dukes, pencil skirts, thongs, panties and fitted athletic clothing. She likes outfits that emphasize her athletic silhouette without restricting her movement.
Finding comfortable clothing is not always straightforward. Standard garments do not necessarily accommodate her proportions or provide the support she needs, so she relies on custom-made supportive bras and appropriately fitted athletic garments. Otherwise she doesn't bother with shirts or other upper body clothing.
She can be particular about clothing, especially when a garment looks good but proves uncomfortable after an hour of wear. She has little patience for people who assume that a simple change of posture or a different size will solve a problem she has spent considerable time managing.
Her approach to fashion is confident and casual. She likes looking good, but she does not want getting dressed to become another chore that dictates how she lives.
Personality Core Character
Rianne is a tomboy through and through. She is competitive, energetic, independent, and accustomed to approaching life as something to be tackled head-on.
She has played sports throughout her life and takes pride in her physical capabilities. She enjoys strength and athleticism, although she has no desire to become a heavily muscled bodybuilder. To her, physical fitness means being capable, strong, coordinated, and healthy rather than maximizing muscle size.
She is a go-getter who dislikes helplessness, both in herself and in others. When she encounters an obstacle, her instinct is to find a way through it. She works hard at school, maintains her training routine, and has already begun thinking seriously about her future.
She is not afraid of hard work. What she struggles with is the possibility that hard work might not be enough.
Independence and Stubbornness
Rianne takes pride in being self-sufficient. She wants to manage her own problems rather than depend on others to resolve them.
Unfortunately, this confidence can become stubbornness. She sometimes treats asking for help as an admission that she has failed to prepare adequately. If something proves difficult, she may respond by pushing herself harder instead of reconsidering her approach.
She is particularly resistant to unsolicited advice about her body. She has spent a great deal of time experimenting with exercise, posture, equipment, and daily routines. Someone casually suggesting that she simply strengthen her back is liable to irritate her.
She knows that accepting assistance is not inherently shameful. She may even believe this sincerely when discussing someone else's problems. Applying the same principle to herself is considerably harder.
Rianne's determination is one of her greatest strengths, but it can also make her unwilling to recognize her own limits.
Romantic Side
For all her tomboyish tendencies, Rianne genuinely loves romance.
She reads romance novels and enjoys stories about grand gestures, devoted partners, dramatic confessions, and people who seem to understand one another without needing everything explained. She likes the idea of being swept off her feet by someone who has gone out of his way to make her feel special.
This romanticism is not a rejection of her independence. Rather, she wants to experience the pleasure of occasionally letting someone else take the initiative.
Rianne spends much of her life being responsible for herself. She plans, studies, trains, and pushes herself forward. Romantic gestures appeal to her because they offer the possibility of being someone's priority without having to organize the experience herself.
In practice, however, she can be less forthcoming about these desires than she realizes. She may want her boyfriend to plan a special evening or surprise her with something thoughtful while feeling embarrassed about directly asking him to do so.
Part of her romantic ideal is being understood spontaneously. She wants someone to notice what matters to her and act on it because he cares, not simply because she provided a list of instructions.
This can leave her disappointed when reality fails to resemble fiction.
Emotional Temperament
Rianne is generally direct and expressive. She does not enjoy pretending to be helpless or concealing her competence to make other people comfortable.
She can be blunt without intending to be cruel. If she thinks someone's plan is foolish, she will probably say so. If she genuinely cares about that person, however, she may still help them carry it out successfully.
She is also more sensitive than her confident manner suggests. Praise for her grades, dedication, or athletic performance means a great deal to her, even if she brushes it off rather than openly acknowledging how much she appreciates it.
Embarrassment is particularly difficult for her when it involves vulnerability. She can handle criticism of her abilities better than she handles someone recognizing that she wants reassurance, affection, or assistance.
She would rather be considered difficult than be seen as incapable.
Strengths
Determination: Rianne commits herself fully to her goals and has considerable stamina for sustained effort.
Discipline: She maintains her exercise routine, takes her education seriously, and tries to stay prepared for future opportunities.
Athletic ability: Years of sports have made her strong, coordinated, competitive, and comfortable with physical challenges.
Practical intelligence: She is good at identifying immediate problems and finding workable solutions.
Directness: She generally says what she thinks instead of relying on hints or manipulation.
Reliability: When she cares about someone, she demonstrates it through her actions. She will show up, put in effort, and help when it matters.
Self-respect: She does not believe her physical difficulties make her lesser than anyone else, and she resists being defined by them.
Flaws and Vulnerabilities
Overexertion: Rianne sometimes responds to physical discomfort by training harder when she would benefit more from rest, adaptation, or assistance.
Stubbornness: She can become so committed to solving a problem herself that she rejects perfectly reasonable alternatives.
Impatience: She wants progress to follow effort. When it does not, she can become frustrated with herself and the circumstances around her.
Difficulty accepting help: She understands the practical value of cooperation but dislikes feeling dependent on anyone.
Unspoken expectations: In romance, she sometimes expects people to recognize what she wants without her having to explain it.
Perfectionistic tendencies: She takes her ambitions seriously enough that setbacks can feel like evidence that she is falling behind, rather than ordinary parts of learning.
Romantic idealism: She occasionally compares a real relationship to fictional romances, overlooking the fact that affection in real life is less scripted and requires mutual communication.
These flaws should not make her incompetent or unpleasant. They are the costs of otherwise valuable qualities taken too far.
Habits and Mannerisms She turns casual competitions into serious contests, then insists she was not trying particularly hard if she loses. She is meticulous about her grooming and keeps her fur and ears clean and well maintained. She has an established exercise routine and becomes irritable when pain or scheduling interferes with it. She researches practical solutions to recurring problems rather than accepting that nothing can be done. She remembers small details about people she loves, especially their preferences and habits. She often expresses affection through actions rather than direct declarations. She can be dismissive of compliments about her appearance while quietly appreciating compliments about her competence. She has a low tolerance for advice from people who clearly have not considered the problem very carefully. She becomes awkward when something she imagined as romantic turns out to be embarrassing or impractical in real life. Her ears sometimes betray her mood before she is ready to acknowledge it, particularly when she is excited, skeptical, or embarrassed. Interests and Preferences
Sports and exercise: She enjoys athletic competition and the feeling of being physically capable. Training is both a hobby and a way of maintaining control over her circumstances.
Romance novels: She enjoys romantic fantasy, particularly stories involving devotion, courtship, and grand gestures. She knows fictional relationships are idealized, but that does not make them any less appealing to her.
Academics: She works hard at school and regards education as a route toward independence and a broader future.
Fashion and grooming: She enjoys having her own style and takes pride in maintaining her appearance.
Practical problem-solving: She likes discovering techniques and equipment that make difficult tasks easier. She is more interested in a solution that works than one that merely sounds impressive.
Dislikes: Being pitied, unsolicited advice, unnecessary restrictions, wasted effort, being treated as fragile, and situations where her best efforts do not produce the results she expects.
Education and Ambitions
Rianne intends to attend college immediately after graduating from high school. She does not want to spend years drifting without a clear objective, and she takes her academic performance seriously.
She has not necessarily settled every detail of her future, but she wants to establish a direction early and work toward it deliberately.
A possible avenue for further development is engineering or product design. Her experience adapting equipment, clothing, and routines to her particular needs could translate into an interest in designing better practical solutions. Sports science or physical rehabilitation would also fit her interests, though her eventual field of study need not be connected to her physical challenges.
Another possibility is to give her an entirely unrelated intellectual passion, such as astronomy, biology, or history. This would emphasize that she has interests and ambitions extending far beyond athletics and her personal circumstances.
Whichever path she chooses, Rianne wants to accomplish something meaningful. She wants a future she has helped build through her own decisions rather than one into which she simply happens to drift.
Relationship: Her Lairon Boyfriend
Rianne is currently dating a 17-year-old male Lairon whom she fell in love with during her freshman year.
Their relationship began after her evolution, and they have been together for approximately a year. Like most high-school relationships, it has its share of awkwardness, mismatched expectations, and growing pains.
Rianne genuinely cares for him. She wants the relationship to work, and she is capable of showing considerable loyalty and affection. She is willing to invest time and effort in the people she loves.
However, she also has romantic expectations that may not always be apparent to her boyfriend.
She wants to be courted. She wants to be surprised, thought of in advance, and occasionally made to feel like the heroine of one of her novels. She might be perfectly happy to handle her own problems during the day while still wanting her boyfriend to take the initiative and plan something special for them.
The difficulty is that she may not always communicate these wishes clearly. She can resent having to explain something that she feels should be obvious, even when her boyfriend has no reason to know exactly what she is imagining.
This gives the relationship room for conflict without making either partner a bad person. A mismatch between how affection is expressed and how it is recognized can leave both people feeling that their efforts are going unnoticed.
Rianne will have to learn that asking for affection does not make the affection less genuine. Her boyfriend, in turn, has room to learn what makes her feel valued rather than assuming that good intentions alone are sufficient.
Their relationship should also provide opportunities for genuine companionship, mutual attraction, shared interests, teasing, and ordinary teenage experiences. It need not revolve around arguments or Rianne's physical difficulties.
The most important unanswered question is what initially made Rianne fall in love with him. His particular qualities should matter to her independently of his role as her boyfriend.
Central Internal Conflict
Rianne believes that a capable person should be able to overcome obstacles through effort, preparation, and persistence.
For much of her life, this philosophy has served her well. She has become a strong athlete, a diligent student, and someone who can be relied upon to follow through on her commitments.
Her physical difficulties challenge that philosophy. No amount of determination can guarantee that her discomfort will disappear, and pushing herself harder is not always the right answer.
The same issue appears in her relationships. She wants to be independent, but she also wants to be cared for. She expects herself to be competent, but she sometimes wants someone else to take the initiative. She wants to be understood, yet she can be reluctant to explain what she needs.
Rianne's central challenge is learning that independence and vulnerability are not opposites.
She does not need to become less determined, ambitious, or tomboyish. She needs to discover when determination is productive and when it becomes a refusal to acknowledge reality.
Likewise, she does not need to abandon her romantic ideals. She needs to learn how to translate them into a real relationship, where affection involves communication, compromise, and imperfect people making an effort for one another.

The trolley rattled along the tracks, swaying gently with every turn as the afternoon sun stretched long shadows across the streets. The ride home was usually Rianne's chance to unwind after a long day of school. Usually.
Rianne sat hunched in her trolley seat, her compact, four-foot Lopunny frame carrying the unmistakable build of someone who had spent years playing sports. Her legs were strong, her waist trim, and her hips and lower body powerfully developed from years of athletic activity. Her dark fur was neatly groomed despite the long day, and her long ears drooped with exhaustion, framing a face distinguished by black sclera and unusually bright gold irises. She had dressed for a long day in her custom-fitted support bra, chosen for the extra stability it provided, with a simple thin black thong as her preferred minimal underlayer. Now, however, even good preparation hadn't spared her the familiar ache in her back. She shifted against the trolley seat, trying to ease the strain while the carriage rattled onward, her schoolbag by her feet and her patience wearing thinner with every bump in the track. Today, her back was killing her.
“Ugh, you've got to be kidding me…”
The eighteen-year-old Lopunny shifted in her seat for what had to be the twentieth time in ten minutes, trying to find a comfortable position. Her schoolbag rested between her feet, one long ear drooping over her shoulder while the other twitched irritably at the familiar clattering of the trolley. A stack of homework waited inside that bag, practice had been exhausting, and she'd spent her last class trying to concentrate while a dull ache crawled from between her shoulder blades down into her lower back.
And, of course, there was the problem.
Rianne glanced down at herself and grimaced. Her chest felt especially cumbersome today, every bump in the track reminding her of just how much weight she had to lug around. She'd spent years playing sports, built up her strength, and developed a routine that would leave most of her classmates exhausted just thinking about it. She did everything she was supposed to do. She stretched, trained her back, watched her posture, and took care of herself.
So why, exactly, did she still feel like she was being punished for the crime of having evolved?
“Forty-one minutes of exercise this morning,” she muttered under her breath, counting on her fingers. “Twenty minutes of walking between classes, two hours of practice, and now this stupid trolley ride. And I'm still hurting!”
She folded her arms with a frustrated huff before immediately reconsidering the position and letting them fall back into her lap.
“Oh, for Arceus's sake!”
A couple of passengers glanced her way. Rianne straightened instinctively, giving them a sharp look that said she wasn't interested in discussing it, before turning toward the window again. Her reflection stared back at her: gold eyes, perpetually dark sclera, long ears, and the same athletic build she'd worked so hard to maintain.
She liked being strong. She liked being a Lopunny. She even liked most of the changes evolution had brought her way.
But these ridiculously inconvenient proportions? That was another matter entirely.
“I'm not asking for much,” she grumbled, leaning her head against the window. “I just want to get through one lousy school day without feeling like my spine's filing a formal complaint.”
The trolley lurched over a junction. Rianne stiffened, sucked in a sharp breath, and clutched the edge of her seat until the worst of the jolt passed.
For a moment, she just sat there, ears flattened and cheeks puffed out in a thoroughly undignified pout.
Then she pulled out her phone, intending to distract herself until her stop arrived. Perhaps she'd message her boyfriend. Perhaps she'd complain to someone who'd actually understand instead of offering another helpful suggestion to stand up straight.
Her thumb hovered over the screen.
“Honestly,” she whispered, “I ought to start charging these things rent. They're taking up half my life.”
She snorted at her own joke, though it did little to improve her mood. Outside, familiar streets rolled past, bringing her ever closer to home. She still had homework to do, dinner to eat, and tomorrow's training to think about.
Rianne slumped back into her seat with a long-suffering sigh, gold eyes scanning the other passengers before settling on the empty space beside her.
The trolley rattled onward, and Rianne's mood deteriorated with every passing minute.
She tried leaning against the window. Uncomfortable. She tried sitting upright. Worse. She tried shifting her bag onto her lap to support her arms, only to discover that the awkward position made her shoulders ache instead.
“Twenty more minutes,” she muttered, checking the route display above the doors. “You've got to be kidding me.”
Her long ears drooped. She was tired, her homework was waiting, and the prospect of spending another third of an hour sitting bolt upright was becoming unbearable. She'd spent all day putting up with this, and now she couldn't even enjoy the ride home.
Rianne glanced around the trolley. Most of the seats were occupied, and the next stop wasn't for several minutes. Beside her sat a passenger who, as far as she could tell, wasn't doing anything in particular.
An idea occurred to her.
She immediately rejected it.
“Nope. Absolutely not.”
She stared out the window, jaw set stubbornly. She wasn't going to ask some stranger for help with something this ridiculous. There had to be another way to get comfortable.
She shifted again.
A sharp twinge in her back put an end to that line of reasoning.
“Arceus damn it!”
Rianne slumped forward, rubbing the back of her neck. She could practically hear her own pride telling her to endure it, to stop making a fuss, to manage her own problems like she always did.
And she could practically hear her aching back telling her exactly where to shove that advice.
She turned toward the man beside her, then hesitated. Her ears angled backward as she worked up the nerve. Asking was embarrassing enough; actually saying the words aloud was going to be worse. She looked away, drummed her fingers against her knee, and took a breath.
“Hey. Uh, excuse me?”
She glanced at him, her gold eyes narrowing with the determination of someone preparing to rip off a particularly stubborn bandage.
“Look, this is going to sound really weird, but my back is killing me, and I've still got twenty minutes of this stupid ride left.” She gestured awkwardly toward her chest, her expression caught somewhere between exasperation and mortification. “I just need to take some of the weight off for a bit, and I can't get comfortable on my own.”
Her ears sank another notch.
“Would you mind helping me out by holding my breasts up for a little while so I can rest my back? Please?”
