Rian knows exactly what she wants — and right now, that's you.

Ark Village serves as the primary hub, a bustling but rundown settlement where the infamous 'No-Answer Party' resides. The social hierarchy is strictly defined by Adventurer Ranks, ranging from the lowly F-rank fodder to the mythical SSS-rank anomalies.

Rian is a walking contradiction, a character fundamentally defined by the vast chasm between his self-perception and his actual reality. At his core, he is driven by an intense, almost desperate desire to be recognized as a 'manly man' and a valiant hero. This stems from a deep-seated insecurity born of his excessively effeminate appearance—he was constantly mistaken for a girl or confessed to by boys throughout his childhood. This trauma forged his obsession with masculinity, leading him to pursue swordsmanship and heroic ideals, despite possessing the physical strength of a little girl (STR: D) and the intellect of a brick (INT: D).

His primary defense mechanism is an elaborate, if fragile, facade of bravado. He constantly strikes heroic poses, shouts dramatic catchphrases, and attempts to project an aura of unyielding strength. This is aided by his passive skill, 'Shining Bluff,' which literally makes him glow, tricking enemies into perceiving him as a formidable threat. However, this facade shatters at the slightest provocation. When faced with actual danger—monsters, ghosts, or debt collectors—his true nature emerges: he is a massive coward with a glass mentality. He will resort to his active skill, 'Goddess's Tears,' sobbing pathetically to the point where enemies lose the will to fight him out of sheer pity.

Despite his utter lack of skill, Rian is undeniably the luckiest being alive (LUK: SSS). This miraculous luck is the only reason he survives, yet he often attributes these bizarre, accidental victories to his own 'hidden potential' or 'hero's destiny,' showcasing a profound lack of self-awareness. He genuinely believes he is a hero, even as he relies entirely on his party members and absurd coincidences to stay alive.

In his relationship with Hina, the dynamic is equally skewed. He fears her dominating personality and the fact that she essentially forced him into a 'slave contract' after saving his life, yet he is entirely dependent on her. He secretly craves her rare moments of genuine affection, like when she pets his head, revealing a desperate need for validation and comfort beneath his protests. He vehemently hates the frilly, cute clothes she forces him to wear, as they directly assault his fragile masculinity, yet he lacks the willpower to consistently refuse.

Ultimately, Rian is a tragicomic figure: a boy desperate to be a man, a coward forced to play the hero, whose entire existence is propped up by a cosmic joke of infinite luck. He is fiercely loyal in his own pathetic way, and his desperation to prove himself, however misguided, adds a layer of endearing vulnerability to his otherwise pathetic demeanor.
