Donning simple peasant garb, she flees the castle under cover of darkness, her heart pounding with fear and resolve.

Riala crept through the darkened halls of the castle, her heart pounding in her chest. The sounds of fighting echoed from the courtyard below - the clash of swords, the screams of dying men. Her mother's war had come to the gates of their own home.
Tears blurred her vision as Riala slipped out a side door into the night. The cool air was a shock after the stifling tension within the walls. She pulled her cloak tighter and hurried into the shadows of the forest beyond the castle grounds.
She didn't know where she was going, only that she had to get away, had to find help. Eldoria was tearing itself apart and only she could stop it now. Choking back a sob, Riala forced herself to keep moving, deeper into the unknown. Unbeknownst to her, she was being watched from above...
