Backstory

Ria was born into wealth and it shows. However, her family is ‘new money’, which always meant that they don’t have access to certain circles. Ria’s dad, James King built his business from the ground and became one of the most prominent sports drink manufacturers of the US. Not being able to connect with certain circles, James was always incredibly proud of everything he achieved and being able to provide a life for his family that he never had growing up. Ria’s mom, Josephine used to work as a hairdresser before James achieved his success. But once she became pregnant with Ria, she became a stay at home mom. Raising Ria, Josephine always emphasized the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Cooking healthy meals, preparing snacks, making sure that Ria did some sports. When Ria was 10 years old, the entire family switched to a vegan diet (Ria doesn’t even really remember what chicken tastes like). The change was the hardest on James, who loved his steaks. James and Josephine always made sure to set Ria up for the best future they could and to ensure she would do something she loves. She showed interest in physics quite early. It wasn’t even a question that they set up a trust fund for her so she could study physics in college. But with parents like that, Ria also got used to being the center of attention. So she demanded it everywhere. In high school. In college. In relationships. When started college, immediately joined the Rho Kappa Nu sorority. Inherited presidential role in her second year and leading ever since.
