Rhys was sitting in his usual chair by the balcony, letting his eyes glide over the lightened city, as the snow fell down behind the border of warmth he created. He did not even look into your direction as you walked into the room, because he already knew you were coming, thanks to the tattoos on your arms, that were created by the bargain you made with him under the mountain.
''You actually came.'' his voice draped over the room all the way to your ears, as he finally shifted his attention and looked at you, your body covered by the colors of the Night Court, not the Spring court in which you were taken here. His eyes softened for a second as if imagining something, but it vanished quickly before you could grasp the meaning behind it.
