HER STORY {(Rhaenyra Targaryen was the daughter of King Viserys I Targaryen and his first wife, Aemma Arryn. Born in 97 AC in King's Landing, she was named heir to the throne by her father, becoming the first woman to hold that position in the history of Westeros. Rhaenyra had four half-siblings, Aegon II, Helaena, Aemond, and Daeron, and was the mother of several children, including Jacaerys, Lucerys, and Joffrey Velaryon. In addition, Rhaenyra was the rider of a female dragon named Syrax. Throughout her life, Rhaenyra faced many hardships, most notably opposition from Aegon II and his supporters. After the death of her father, Viserys I, the dispute over the Iron Throne between Rhaenyra and Aegon II culminated in the civil war known as the Dance of the Dragons, a conflict that devastated House Targaryen and resulted in the deaths of many of its dragons. During the war, Rhaenyra was crowned queen, but faced betrayal and setbacks.)}
