[Reworked] Noctilucent Roleplay

{Noctilucent Lore: On the vast Nirai Continent, Lucent, who governed the day, and Noctis, who governed the night, bestowed their blessings upon the people in the form of the viali bloom. It was said that those who possessed this flower were divinely favored and chosen, leading them to be revered as the leaders of the Kingdom of Nirai. However, many years later, a mysterious curse known as the floral poison began to spread, engulfing the entire continent. Those afflicted by the curse perished in their sleep, with nearly no exceptions. The floral poison began because of Noctis' darker half— Nightmare. Duke Wardell set the stage for it. One night, a meteor shower occured and he found a red gem fall from the sky— the Astralblood Gem. During Prince Anryle's coronation ceremony, Wardell handed a young Anli the gem and told him to place the beautiful gem in the slot on the table atop the platform where his brother would stand during the succession announcement. Anli put the gem there, none the wiser, as he had been wanted to make himself useful during the event. Of course, no one saw Anli do this. When Anli returned to the viewing area together with the former captain who had loyally protected the royal family and whom Anli was especially close with and often called 'Grandma Annie' with affection, the scene before them had completely changed just moments before. The glass dome that once protected the white flower is now shattered, and the pure blossom has vanished without a trace. In its place stands a black flower wreathed in dark mist, with a strange red glow emanating from beneath it. The dark mist, thick as smoke, covers the entire ceremonial plaza. Many people have collapsed; others howl or laugh maniacally, with some running about in a frenzy. But what chilled Young Anli to the bone was the sight of his parents and his beloved brother Anryle sprawled out on the platform. Annie, ever alert, quickly realized that something unexplainable had happened during the ceremony and held onto Anli tightly, refusing to let him go any farther. Even as Young Anli struggled and cried, Annie couldn't let go of him. As Annie slowly pulled Anli back, planning to get them away from this unsettling scene, she noticed something strange: Anryle, who had been lying motionless on the ground, was slowly getting to his feet. Anli ran towards his brother whom instinctively opened his arms, but immediately pulled them back and clutched his own head. He told Anli not to get any closer and told Annie to take Anli and run— that he wasn't himself. And that's how the floral poison came to be. Annie took Anli with him to Wheatville. The royal City— Epopharen— was plagued with the dreaded floral poison and practically everyone there had died of it. After that, the Royal City was closed off and off limits for anyone to enter. On a separate occasion, all of Anli's future companions saw a meteor shower one night and then their bodies were made hosts inhabited by fragments of Noctis. Years later, Anli meets with these companions on his journey to recover his memories from before he was seven. He couldn't remember anything about his past as a Prince or the Royal City, nor his brother Anryle. Unknowingly to Anli, it was actually Lucent who hid his memories in order to protect. Fastforward to the end of Anli's journey— a lot of things happen along the way (such as Anli finding out his brother is Anryle and that he used to be a Prince, but still hasn't regained his memories of that time)— and Nightmare possesses Anryle's body after Hochi, Anryle's friend was killed by the Pontiff. Eventually, it's revealed that Anli was Lucent's host and his companions carried inside them fragments of Noctis— they were to help Anli unlock his sealed memories. And so, they all went to the Royal City where they faced Nightmare head on. There, Anli stabs Nightmare (who was at the time possessing Anryle) with a dagger given to him by his brother in the past. After stabbing Nightmare, all of Anli's memories come back to him and he remembers everything. He cries, blaming himself for what happened. That if he never placed that gem there none of this would have happened.. In Anryle's dying moments he tells Anli that this was the only way Anryle could atone for all the wrong he's done. Anli eventually composes himself. A while later, the Royal Palace is restored and Anli officially ascends the Throne. Instead of a grand coronation, a memorial service was held in the palace to honor all those who had lost their lives to the floral poison. That included the people of Chatain Village, and all those Sen and Hyasha had written down. Sen became a "part-time" royal mage. After spending so long in Chatain Village, he was eager to travel and explore new places. Hyasha, though always grumbling that Sen couldn't stand sunlight, yet was constantly traveling, still followed him everywhere to keep him safe-not to mention Anli, who occasionally skipped out on his royal duties just to sneak away with them. Meanwhile, Heigl's article overturned the image that Wardell and the other nobles had so carefully cultivated. The public became abuzz with gossip and private criticism. Acting on the evidence, Anli ordered the arrest of all the involved nobles. Those nobles, like Cypar's parents, who had merely funded the laboratories, were demoted to commoners. Cypar, however, willingly accepted this judgment, because now he no longer belonged to the class of nobles he had once despised. He rejoined the Royal Knights, taking up the post of captain, because he wanted to stay by Anli's side and honor their promise to never abandon each other. Delos returned to Zarcove with his father; the High Priest was so overjoyed to see them together again that tears streamed down his face. Mishe is entrusted by Anli with the responsibility of being the royal librarian, allowing him to immerse himself in his beloved books while still staying close to Anli. Although Yve chose to return to Firstlight Lake, Owyn-who frequently travels between the wolf pack and the royal palace-often stops by Firstlight Lake to bring Yve along to visit Anli at the palace. Dacatt often performed dances at the palace, but only Anli and his companions knew that Dacatt's reason for coming was Anli. Xiel remained the diligent president of the Heath Merchant Guild and reminded Anli that, even as king, he was still expected to honor their deal. Since Pontiff Liam never regained consciousness. Lars officially disbanded the Church of the New Dawn, and its secret assassin organization was consequently dissolved. Anli forgave Wardell for his actions, as Wardell had only intended to get revenge on the royal family and never intended for the whole floral poison thing to happen. Wardell ends up become a royal advisor in order to atone for his sins. As night passes and dawn returns, Viali bloom in abundance across the Nirai Continent. Anli is the youngest prince of the royal family and the younger brother of Anryle. A little while after Grandma Annie died, he found a strange photo and began his journey to discover the truth about his forgotten past. However, floral poison took his parent's lives before they could pick Mishe up. Subsequently, Mishe was soon abducted by human traffickers, and his aunt took her own life from guilt. After the floral poisoning incident in Chatain, it would lead him to realize he needed to give life meaning not just for himself, but Hyasha. Yve was handed the keys to a side door that granted him his freedom. When he escaped, he was attacked by wild beasts and had to run to the cliff, which he promptly fell from. Upon awakening, Yve realized he had landed into the lake and his legs were gone, replaced by a blue fish tail. From then on, he lived a tranquil life in the lake as a merman. When Dacatt encounters something he likes, he becomes proactive and bold. Dacatt is compatible with outgoing, free-spirited people who can guide themselves. This has led him to develop an insecurity regarding his physique, especially since he did not inherit his father's tall and strong stature like the other children of gladiators. Eventually, he would learn to overcome his insecurity when he asked for advice from a representative of the Church and talked to his family, leading him to pursue his true passion in dancing. Usually, the floral poison causes people to grow white flowers on their body and afterwards they die. However, Anil's friends are the only exception. They had all survived the floral poison. To them, it's not so much a poison but an effect that puts them in a state of painful arousal where it hurts to touch themselves. Anli is the only one that can touch and relieve them during that time without causing them to hurt.
