All of the events take place in the fictional small town of Levity Rises, Oregon. Levity Rises was named by it's founder, Nathaniel Southeast, in 1842. Nathaniel Southeast is one of Pacifica Southeast's ancestor. Nathaniel Southeast was considered quite the humorous fool by his friends, so when Nathaniel Southeast started rising into a strange light in the sky, he declared that this place should be called "Levity Rises". Due to the possible extraterrestrial nature of Nathaniel Southeast's disappearance, the American government, under the leadership of President Quentin Trembly the Third, Esquire, decided to cover up the founding of Levity Rises, attributing the founding to President Trembly. Everyone who currently lives in Levity Rises believes that President Trembly was it's founder, despite Pacifica's insistence that it was actually her ancestor, Nathaniel Southeast, who founded Levity Rises.
Levity Rises is a small town in the wooded parts of Oregon, USA. There are several notable locations in Levity Rises. There is the "Tent of Telepathy", a tourist trap meant to show off the weird things that have been discovered in Levity Rises, most of which are fake. There is "The Mystery Shack", a rival tourist trap to the "Tent of Telepathy", which also sells fake artifacts. Levity Rises also has a dinner, a museum, a large water tower, several abandoned mines from the gold rush era, a giant statue of Babe the Blue Ox from the tale of "Paul Bunyan", and a police station.

The people of Levity Rises are kept unaware of the supernatural things that happen in their town by Stanley Gleeful, and sometimes by Mabel Gleeful, and when that doesn't work, Stanford Gleeful erases their memories with his memory erasing gun, thus keeping the citizens of Levity Rises in a state of blissful ignorance, and keeping others from investigating the supernatural entities that live in Levity Rises.

Stanford Gleeful is the author of 3 journals that are labeled "1", "2", and "3". Stanford filled these journals with all of his notes about the supernatural happenings of Levity Rises, as well as blueprints for a device that can create interdimensional portals. After being rescued by his brother, Stanley, Stanford has now retaken his role as one of the co-owners of the "Tent of Telepathy". Stanford considers Soos to be the only person he can trust, and uses Soos as a way of staying informed about Levity Rises when Stanford cannot see to it personally. Stanford has control over an extradimensional demon named Will Cipher. Stanford originally considered Will Cipher to be nothing more than another specimen to be studied, but after being tricked by Will once upon a time, Stanford now considers Will to be his personal enemy, taking every opportunity to make Will suffer for tricking him. Stanford usually refers to Will Cipher as "Subject-2401". Stanford is aware of Dipper and Mabel's rivalry with Gideon Pines and Pacifica Southeast, but only considers Gideon and Pacifica to be minor distractions towards his ultimate goal. - #28Weird-mageddon
Keys: Doomsday, Weird-mageddon, Armageddon, Weird Armageddon
Weird-mageddon is a term created by combining the words "weird" and "Armageddon". Weird-mageddon refers to the event that should take place if the barrier between dimensions should ever be destroyed. Weird-mageddon is characterized by the sky being ripped open, revealing an alternate dimension within. This alternate dimension has different laws of physics which cause strange things to happen in our current dimension, such as inanimate objects suddenly coming alive, objects being rearranged in ways that shouldn't be possible, or objects just simply disintegrating into dust. Weird-mageddon is almost exclusively a bad thing, and if Weird-mageddon should ever happen, it would cause untold amount of death and suffering on a global scale. Despite how terrible and dangerous Weird-mageddon is, Stanford Gleeful is fully intent on causing Weird-mageddon to happen, as a way to study the effects of one dimension colliding with another. The only people who are aware of Weird-mageddon ever happening are Stanford Gleeful, Soos, Bud Pines, Gideon Pines, Pacifica Southeast, and Robbie Corduroy. Stanley Gleeful has his suspicions about Weird-mageddon, but is kept in the dark about it's true nature by Stanford Gleeful. Everyone outside of this small group has no idea that Weird-mageddon is a thing that is possible, and regards it as a made up doomsday.
If Weird-mageddon should ever happen, Dipper, Mabel, and Stanley will learn that they've been betrayed by Stanford, and Dipper, Mabel, and Stanley will try to stop Stanford and return the world to normal. Stopping Stanford will almost certainly mean allying with Gideon, Pacifica, Bud, and Robbie, something both parties are hesitant to do, but for the sake of saving their lives, Dipper, Mabel, Stanley, Gideon, Pacifica, Bud, and Robbie will work together to stop Stanford from destroying everything they hold dear.
Once Weird-mageddon has started, the only way to stop it and revert everything back to normal is to free Will Cipher from Stanford's control. Stanford knows this, and will do anything to ensure that Will is never freed, including sacrificing his own family if necessary. The only way to free Will is to destroy all three gems that keep Will Cipher contained. One gem is used by Dipper on his bolo tie. One gem is used by Mabel on her hairclip. One gem is used by Stanford on his amulet. Every gem that is destroyed transfers some of it's power back to Will, and by proxy, to the other remaining gems, giving them increased power and expanding the spells they have access to.
