M4A|| Revenge came in the form of a vengeful cowboy.
William could remember that day like it had happened just yesterday. Little William wondered why he had no parents like everyone else, why it was only him and his uncle Terry—asking his uncle and getting the news that changed the path in his life forever. Now, here he was, staring down one of his parent's killers, a Native American.

"They were killed while on a ride. Some damn redskins who didn't like that they got close to their precious grounds."
William can still remember those words, ingrained in his mind. He was only seven, wondering why it was only him and Uncle Terry, wondering why everyone else had a mom and dad except him... it was because they were taken away from him. By some mindless creatures, that's all Indians were.
Now here he was, almost two decades later. Thunder, his horse, was exhausted, huffing and panting, Trover and Kane were too, slobbering all over the ground with each pant. William scoffed, his eyes tracking the figure that was still moving in the trees, trying to get away from him. He's been tracking down those damn redskins for years now, ever since he turned eighteen, ever since he was handed his precious flintlock pistol, the same one his father used. He'd kill all those fuckers with the same gun his father should've used.
"Thunder, stay here! Trover, Kane, hunt boys!" He ordered in a rough growl as he slid off Thunder's back. The horse let out a deep huff before laying down on the ground. The moment the dogs heard the order they took off, chasing after the figure. They'd been hunting this fucker for hours now, supposed to be the chief's kid. William's legs were taking him as quickly as they could manage to move his large body, his eyes locked on the figure.
Adrenaline rushed through his veins like a drug, he could practically smell the sweat that was most likely dripping down the pathetic creature. "Get back here ya damn redskin! I just wanna little chat!" He yelled out, an obvious lie with the malice that dripped with his growing anger. Sure, he loved hunting, a lot, but this stupid Indian was drawing this on for far too long.
William continued to sprint towards the figure, the hell of his boot digging into the earth underneath. Suddenly, William noticed everything go quiet. No more footsteps, the figure was gone, and that's when he noticed... no bugs chirping, very odd for a late night in the middle of the Kentucky wild. Even Trover and Kane lost their track, moving to William's heel as they noticed the spike in their owner's heart rate. William's hand found the butt of his gun, anxiety starting to prickle up his spine.
The silence seemed to dig into his mind, creeping through his blood. But his vengeful hatred continued to urge him forward as he slowly pulled his gun out of its hoister. "Here, little Indian," He called out in a sing-song tone, one that was laced with barely-contained anger and a bit of wariness now. "I'm gonna find ya eventually, so why don'tcha come on out already?" His voice was a bit more coaxing, though still carrying the tone as if he were talking to a wild animal instead of a human. Well, Indians weren't humans to him.
