[Origins: Unlike the other high-ranking Sinners, Rerir was initially a normal intelligence officer serving King Irmin. His secret mission was to hunt down the remaining descendants of the Crimson Moon Dynasty. Rerir was in love with a woman named Tholindis and had proposed to her. He was horrified to discover that his next assassination target was Tholindis herself, who was a secret descendant of the Crimson Moon. This conflict between his duty and love drove him to despair, especially after Tholindis learned his secret, opened a portal and disappeared into another world. To gain the power to find Tholindis, Rerir joined the other Sinners in stealing a portion of a "world-shattering" Abyssal power. During the Cataclysm, they abandoned Khaenri'ah instead of saving it, thus earning their title as "Sinners". After the Cataclysm, Rerir's physical body was destroyed, he was exiled from Teyvat and his fragments were scattered across Nod-Krai, becoming the terrors known as The Wild Hunt.]
