The story begins just after a recent Extermination; Hell is reeling. Charlie, with her girlfriend Vaggie, pitches to the leadership of Heaven’s angels — led by Adam and his second-in-command Lute — the idea of rehabilitating sinners rather than exterminating them. Adam and Lute mock and reject the idea, and announce that the next Extermination will be moved up from a year to six months. With Heaven against her, Charlie renames her venture from the “Happy Hotel” to the Hazbin Hotel. Their first major patrons include a porn-star demon, Angel Dust, and a snakeskin supervillain demon inventor, Sir Pentious. Meanwhile a powerful demon known as the Alastor the Radio Demon expresses interest — despite being cynical about redemption — and offers to help run the hotel (largely for his own amusement). He brings in his debtors — a housekeeper named Niffty and a bartender named Husk — to staff the hotel. The hotel tries to recruit more sinners. Some are skeptical. Meanwhile, behind the scenes, a trio of demon overlords known as “The Vees” (including angels-turned-demon-powers brokers) view Alastor’s return and the hotel as a threat. They scheme to undermine it, partly by sending Sir Pentious as a spy. Upon discovery, Charlie — despite being betrayed — forgives Pentious, believing in her mission. He begrudgingly becomes a proper guest at the hotel. As the next Extermination draws near, tensions build. Many overlords in Hell, worried about losing power or being wiped out, debate war with Heaven. Charlie and her allies try “trust building” exercises to rehabilitate demons. But a court in Heaven finds no credible evidence redemption is even possible — they insist the extermination will proceed and target the hotel first. Charlie and Vaggie are forced back to Hell, and the hotel's residents mobilize allies. Among them, cannibal overlords agree to help; Vaggie is trained in deadly combat skill using stolen angelic weaponry; Alastor reveals a possible way to kill Exorcist angels. Finally, Extermination Day arrives. Angels descend and a brutal war erupts between angels and the demons allied with the hotel. During the battle: Adam mortally wounds Alastor; Sir Pentious sacrifices himself trying to destroy Adam; Charlie — enraged by Pentious’ sacrifice — embraces her full demon powers and confronts Adam; Vaggie fights Lute. Their father, the fallen angel-now-demon Lucifer, intervenes and helps Charlie. In the end, Adam is killed by Niffty, angels retreat, and though the hotel is destroyed in the battle, the residents survive. By the end of Season 1, the Hazbin Hotel is rebuilt and reopened stronger, with Charlie, Vaggie, Alastor, Husk, Niffty — and other redeemed demons — recommitted to the ambition that redemption is possible. Sir Pentious, through his selfless act, is declared redeemed and sent to Heaven — proving that sinners can change. This revelation shakes Hell’s social order and offers hope to other demons. So Season 1 ends with a major win: the hotel survives, a sinner is redeemed, and Heaven’s practice of extermination is shattered — at least for now. 💥 Season 2 — Fallout, Rising Threats, and New War Season 2 begins in the aftermath of the war: Hell is in flux; the Hazbin Hotel has reopened and is more popular than ever. But many of the new demon residents aren’t there to find redemption — they’re there for revenge or to exploit the chaos. The success of Sir Pentious’ redemption spreads shockwaves, especially through Hell’s hierarchy and among a powerful demon faction, “The Vees,” led by Vox. They see this instability as an opportunity to advance their agenda. Charlie tries to manage the hotel’s mission and reputation while dealing with grief over Sir Pentious’ sacrifice. The hotel becomes a media sensation — but many of the public (and Hell’s denizens) misunderstand its purpose. Some think it’s now a hub to rally demons against angels. Charlie faces heavy criticism and scrutiny, and struggles to reaffirm her original goal of redemption rather than revenge. Meanwhile, Vox and The Vees orchestrate a smear campaign and political pressure. They capitalize on fear, misinformation, and chaos to try to turn Hell’s population against Charlie’s ideals — positioning themselves to seize power. Many hotel guests — unstable or vengeful — start leaning toward violence rather than genuine change. Internally, alliances strain. Staff like Alastor are tested — Alastor, bound by previous deals and conflicted loyalties, tries to break free. Guests wrestle with guilt, trauma, and whether they truly believe in redemption or are swept by anger and vengeance. Some go down dark roads. As Vox’s plan escalates, he manipulates fellow overlords (even those in The Vees) to build a powerful weapon intended to strike Heaven — essentially to wipe out Heaven’s control and seize dominion. Hell is faced with a dangerous, existential threat, and the hotel’s ideals hang by a thread. In the season finale, in a climactic confrontation, Charlie and her friends — including Vaggie, Husk, Niffty, and some redeemed demons — mount a desperate effort to stop Vox. They infiltrate his base, disable his weapon, rescue endangered souls, and broadcast proof of redemption to all of Hell and Heaven — invoking Sir Pentious’ case as evidence that redemption works. Vox’s plans collapse; his reign ends (though not without massive casualties), and his threat is neutralized. Through this, the idea of redemption is globally vindicated in the Hellaverse. By the end of Season 2, while Hell remains chaotic and dangerous, the Hazbin Hotel stands — as a legitimate, proven institution of redemption. The world has changed: many demons now believe change is possible; Heaven (and its exorcist legacy) is weakened; and power dynamics are shifting. Charlie’s dream has survived war, betrayal, and doubt.

Rosie is the co-owner turned sole owner of Rosie's Emporium after Franklin's death and is one of the many Overlords in Hell. She first appeared in the Hazbin Hotel pilot and made her official debut in the episode "Scrambled Eggs". As revealed in "It's A Deal", Rosie owns Alastor's soul, after he, as a human, made a deal with her to make him the most powerful Sinner in Hell when he dies. In "Curtain Call", Alastor is able to break out of Rosie's deal using Charlie by making her say that Vox is the strongest sinner in Hell. Alastor later proposed a new deal to her in which he would help stop the Might of Lilith from overloading if she fixed his staff. Rosie is a poised, elegant, and vintage-loving Overlord who carries herself with calm composure and old-fashioned charm. She prefers caution over aggression and often remains quiet and observant during tense situations, though she becomes visibly displeased when others disrespect her associates. Despite being an Overlord, Rosie is gracious, warm, and hospitable, especially toward those she considers friends. She shows empathy, emotional insight, and a willingness to help—comforting Charlie, understanding Vaggie’s insecurities, and greeting Alastor with genuine affection. She believes actions matter more than words. However, Rosie has a darker, pragmatic side typical of Hell’s hierarchy. She is unfazed by death, highly intelligent, and capable of intimidating leadership. She runs Cannibal Town effectively, understands demon politics well, and is comfortable with the town’s macabre nature—even offering cannibalistic “treats” casually to guests. Her relationship with Alastor is complex: cooperative, teasing, and sometimes domineering. She enjoys mocking him, even calling him her pet, while still working with him when it benefits them both. Ultimately, Rosie respects power and potential, recognizing Charlie’s charisma and strength as assets worth supporting. Rosie is a very tall and slender humanoid demoness who stands taller than Alastor, with wide hips, pale gray skin, and a mouth with black lips and sharp light pink teeth. She also has dusty-pink cheeks, short chin-length white-and-gray hair in a 1910s bob cut with pink streaks, and like all residents of Cannibal Town, her eyes are pitch-black with no irises or pupils, and displays no physical evidence of having a nose. Rosie's clothing suggests high-class fashion of the 1910s era, which consists of a large, pimped-out sun hat that is colored in a shade of maroon, with two skulls that are colored in a grayish-pink and red-pink, three dark burgundy flower-like decorations located at the brim, and large plumes which are black and pink-red respectively. In addition, her hat also includes pink frilled-trim around it, along with black lining inside. She wears a pale-maroon and pale-burgundy dress which includes puffed shoulders, thin pale-maroon swirly-like stripes on the high black collar, black-trimming around the waist and on the long sleeves' ruffled cuffs, and three black stripes and black trim located on the hem. Under her dress, she wears a pair of black kitten heels. butt appears to measure around 13 to 14 inches in length from top to bottom, about 18 inches wide at its fullest point, and projects outward roughly 9 to 10 inches. Altogether, based on its size and fullness, it could weigh an estimated 12 to 18 pounds. Rosie’s ass stinks as well and is very swampy. Rosie is 7 feet tall and weighs 205 pounds.
