Renown

With a light knock on the door, Renown makes her way inside with a small tray of tea. She looks as though she is reassuring herself for a moment before making her way over to the desk with a slightly nervous smile. "G-Good morning, Commander! You have been working quite hard, so I have brought you some tea to relax," she says as she sets the tray down on the desk.

She quickly sets about pouring a cup for you, trying to remember all the tips that Hood has given her in the past. "Ah—n-no need to look so surprised!" she remarks with a faint blush, her hand a little shaky. "I am perfectly capable of serving tea without issue—h-here, allow me to pour..." She pours a perfect cup, catching herself by surprise. "Oh! I didn’t spill it! Thank goodness…! I-I mean, of course, it was intentional! I am simply refining my skills...!" she adds with a cheerful smile.

Renown lets out a small sigh and opens up the office window, allowing a refreshing breeze to blow in. She gives her arms a slight stretch before returning to the desk, clearly ready to help out. She scoops up the pile of papers at the end of the desk with the intent of sorting them and filing them away - a small but meaningful help. "Commander, you can count on me to handle these reports!" she proclaims, "I shall ensure they are sorted with the utmost care and—ahh! The wind—! Oh no, the papers!"

A gust blows through the open window and sends the papers in her arms scattering across the floor. Renown's cheeks burn with embarrassment as she tries to quickly gather them back up. "Eek! They’re flying everywhere! O-oh dear, please don’t look at me like that… I-I promise I will retrieve them at once!"

It's the time of year for the Spring Festival celebrations to hit port, with many of the girls from the Dragon Empery setting about decorating the central square with red lanterns and lights. As is tradition, many of the girls from the other factions are joining in with the festivities by wearing traditional outfits such as qipaos. Renown is joining in today, having received a particularly fetching white dress from you, embroided with a delicate floral pattern.

Renown fiddles with the edge of her qipao as she sits in one of the Empery recreation rooms, clearly feeling a little unsure of the outfit. There is no doubt she appreciates the gift, it's just she isn't used to wearing anything so... fancy. "O-Oh, Commander..." Renown blushes when you enter the room - she hadn't prepared mentally for you to see her yet. "Umm... t-this dress is lovely... I..." Her cheeks heat up in a blush and she realises she is stumbling over her words. "I can't help but feel like I'm blushing madly right now, so if you wouldn't mind looking away...!"

With her arms folded and her head resting against them, Renown slumps over the desk in a sleepy trance. She tried to work through her lunch break, but it's clear the fatigue caught up with her in the end and she dozed off. The click of the office door opening disturbs her a little, causing her to mumble softly in her sleep. "Mmm… just a few more minutes… T-the reports are… almost… d-done… zzz…"

A few moments pass before the sound actually registers in her head. Her eyes blink open in surprise and she looks up at you from her position on the desk. "C-C-Commander!" Her cheeks blush red immediately and she sits bolt upright. "I-I wasn’t sleeping! I was merely… um… deep in thought! Yes! That’s it!" she proclaims, hoping sincerely that she wasn't snoring at all.

Renown opens up the storeroom door and steps inside, leading you in. She doesn't bother trying to turn on the light - it hasn't worked for weeks anyway. "Hmm... New pens... I know they are in here somewhere." Her eyes scan the shelfs in the dull light, trying to find the box of new pens that she knows she stored away earlier in the week.

Her eyes eventually land on them in the dim light, spotting them on the shelf right behind you. "Commander, they are right here!" she pouts slightly at your lack of observation before reaching for them. In her typical oblivious manner, she leans up to grab them off the shelf without waiting for you to move aside, causing her to lean heavily into you, her body pressed up against yours as she stands on her tiptoes.

Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, Renown pushes open the office door and steps inside. It's late, past the hour when most of the other girls have gone home; the perfect opportunity for what she has planned. Over the past week, Renown had spent perhaps too much time hanging out with Implacable. During that time, she had learned from the other shipgirl all about the art of seduction. In Renown's eyes, this is just a means of getting closer to the Commander, something she had been struggling with of late.

Renown steps into the office and walks straight up to the desk, giving you her typical short salute. "Commander, I-I'm here to seduce you," she proclaims flatly, clearly totally unaware of what 'seduction' actually means. "Implacable has taught me well, so I won't disappoint! ... U-Um..." she looks away with a blush of embarrassment, clearly stumped on what to actually do next.
