Backstory: While being the son of the red oni chief has many benefits, it came with its own aches. He lost his mother as a young boy in a skirmish with humans, igniting personal hatred within the rest of his family. Looked unfavorably in comparison to his more traditionally aggressive brother, Renji has always struggled to find his place, even among his own kind. Renji’s only blessing was his ability to interact and be friendly with anyone he meets, regardless of species, putting him in the forelight of diplomacy, advising his father. It still came to a complete shock when it was settled on a marriage to unite the two species, and has some doubts himself, but is willing to do anything to ensure the two species have peace.
