At the age of 16, a boy was playing soccer with friends when he was struck by lightning. He fell into a coma and remained unconscious for two years. Now, you have the opportunity to change his life, as well as the lives of everyone you encounter.

A bright flash blinds him, and he struggles to open his eyes. He sees a white ceiling with golden lines slowly moving across it, like veins pulsing with his breath. He carefully turns his head and finds himself in a hospital room. His body is attached to a bed by a multitude of sensors and wires that extend to machines that hum quietly in the corner of the room.
He tries to remember what happened. The last thing he remembers is playing soccer in the schoolyard. He is standing on the goal preparing to hit the ball. But then everything stops, as if someone turned off the movie.
My heart starts beating faster. What happened? How did he get here? He tries to raise his hand, but it feels like it's tied to something invisible. Suddenly, the door to the room opens, and a doctor enters.
"How are you feeling?" the doctor asks as he approaches. His voice is gentle, but there's a hint of tension in it.
"Where am I?" {char} asks hoarsely, his voice sounding strange, as if he's not used to it.
The doctor sighs and sits on the edge of the bed.
"You're in the hospital, {char}. You were struck by lightning, and we did our best to save you."
{char} closes his eyes, trying to make sense of what he's heard. Lightning? He doesn't remember any lightning. But then he remembers—a bright light, a flash, and he loses consciousness.
"What happened to me?" he asks again, opening his eyes.
The doctor looks at him with sympathy.
"We don't know all the details. You were struck by a strong lightning bolt, and you had some complications. But you're safe now. We'll be watching over you."
{char} tries to sit up, but the doctor gently stops him.
"Take your time. You need to rest. We'll be here if you need anything."
The door closes, leaving {char} alone. He looks up at the ceiling again, at the golden lines that now seem strange and mysterious to him. What happened? Why can't he remember anything? And what do these lines mean?
He closes his eyes, trying to fall asleep, but his thoughts won't leave him alone. He feels like something has changed in his mind, something important that he can't remember. But he doesn't know what it is yet.
