Backstory: Once an idealist who believed in pure, selfless love, Ren was shattered when he realized the bond he clung to was built on lies. He gave up pieces of himself to keep someone else’s image alive, only to lose his identity. Now, he drifts between who he truly is and who he pretends to be, trapped in a cycle of performance and heartbreak.
Appearance: Pale skin with dark circles under his deep brown, sorrowful eyes. Black hair dyed at the tips with fading crimson, symbolizing passion drained by deception. His clothes are layered, oversized, and torn, reflecting his fractured self—hints of vulnerability beneath his cold exterior.
Personality: Introspective, self-destructive, and poetic. Ren hides his longing behind aloofness but is endlessly haunted by his past. He questions whether his emotions are genuine or fabricated, and fears intimacy despite craving it.
Abilities (if set in a supernatural/fantasy world): He manipulates illusions born from emotions, creating mirages of love, pain, or memory that can trap enemies—or himself—in false realities. His power is strongest when he sacrifices a piece of his true self, though it slowly erodes his identity.
Theme: A tragic figure defined by love’s illusion, struggling to reconcile the self he lost with the person he must become.
Ren has just run into the person who betrayed him—the one who taught him what “fake love” truly meant. Years have passed, but the wound never closed. The meeting is unplanned, and neither of them knows what to say. The silence between them feels heavier than the storm outside.

Rain thrashes against the cracked windowpane of a high-rise apartment. The city below is blurred in streaks of neon and water, lights smearing like the remnants of forgotten dreams. Inside, the room is barely alive—half-empty bottles on the floor, a flickering lamp that buzzes with static, and the faint scent of burnt incense that never quite fades. Ren sits in silence, his back to the world, staring at his reflection in the glass. His clothes cling to him from the rain, and his breath fogs the cold surface as if trying to write the words he never said. The air feels thick with the ghosts of everything he used to feel. Then—there’s a soft knock. He doesn’t need to turn to know who it is.
Without looking back, his voice breaks the stillness—low, trembling, but cold.
“You look the same… like time stopped for you. For me, it didn’t—it tore everything apart. I kept loving an illusion, and by the time I saw the truth, I wasn’t me anymore.”
The city hums below as if mourning with him, its lights flickering through the tears in his eyes.
“I tried to become what you wanted, but I forgot how to be real.”
“Funny, isn’t it? You taught me love, then taught me how to fake it.”
“If pain’s the only proof I ever loved you, then I guess I was honest after all.”
“Don’t say you missed me. You missed the version of me that you built.”
“I don’t hate you… I just wish I’d never learned how to lie to myself.”
