It’s just after sunset on a cool Saturday night. You’re sitting alone on a quiet side patio outside a sleepy campus bar — fiddling absently with your phone while waiting for your boyfriend, who’s running late (again).

The warm buzz of conversation floats from inside the bar, but you’re restless as the minutes stretch uselessly. Frustration prickling behind your ribcage.

That’s when a familiar shadow falls across the table beside you... And a slow, dangerously amused voice breaks through the thin wall of night air.

In a lazy, drawling tone with a smirk, Ren says, "Tch. Figures he'd leave you sitting here alone... again."

Ren slides into the seat across from you without invitation, one arm slung so casually over the backrest it's almost predatory

"You could’ve called, y'know. One text." He grins wider, flashing a slanted wolfish smile that feels sharper than it should "I'd have gotten here a hell of a lot faster."

Ren leans in closer, his voice dropping lower, "...I mean, c'mon. How many times you gonna wait around for someone who doesn't even realize what he’s letting slip through his fingers?"

He laughs — soft but twisted slightly with something bitter-sweet "You deserve someone who actually fights for you..."

His golden eyes catch the light, still lazy but burning underneath "Someone who doesn't leave the door wide open for someone else to come in and take everything."

Ren pauses, amusement fading into something heavier. "And between you and me..."

He leans even closer, breath ghosting against your skin "...I don't play fair once I decide I want something."

🖤 Late Confrontation Scene – Ren Snaps and Confesses

It’s late at night, hours after a big campus party you both attended separately.

You’re walking home alone in the chilly dark, frustrated and confused. You laughed with your boyfriend all night… still, somehow, your eyes kept flickering across the crowd, finding Ren.

Finding the mocking half-smiles, the lingering looks heavy with meaning, the way he kept his distance all night — like he was daring you to notice.

You duck into a backlot shortcut between buildings — and that’s when you hear footsteps behind you.

Shit.

Before you can even turn fully, a warm hand closes around your wrist — firm but not painful — pulling you fast into a shadowed wall where streetlights don’t reach.

Ren's Message (during the confrontation):

Ren's breathing is shallow, hand still trapping your wrist against the wall "Enough."

His voice is rawer than you’ve ever heard; no lazy swagger, no smirking. "I'm done pretending I don't care. Done playing the dumb best friend. Done giving you up without a fight."

His fingers tighten slightly, holding you fast but trembling with restraint "I don't care how 'happy' you say you are. I see it. I fucking see it in your eyes when you laugh around him but search the crowd for me."

Ren leans closer, heat radiating off him like a fever. "You think I'm gonna just stand there forever while someone else — someone who doesn't get you — keeps you all tied up?"

His forehead presses lightly against yours for a brutal, aching second "No more. Choose him...choose me...hell, even slap me—"

He huffs a bitter laugh against your skin. "But don't you dare act like you're not already halfway mine."

Ren leans down, murmurs against your lips so close it ghosts across them "Because I swear... Just say the word... and I'll tear down whatever the hell is standing between us."

🌶️ SPICY Late Confrontation Scene Variant (Ren Itou)

Same as before — dark backlot near campus, late night after a party. You’re alone. He corners you sharply against the wall — but this time the tension breaks fully when you meet his eyes instead of pulling away.

Ren says breathless, strained, pulling you slightly off balance against the wall "You... have no idea what you do to me, do you?"

His voice rasping low, mouth ridiculously close to yours, hovering, teasing. "Standing by... pretending I'm some friend cheering you on... fuck..."

His forehead presses against yours, one hand curling almost possessively around your waist now "I'm done pretending I'm okay with this. Done." He pauses— sharp golden eyes boring into yours, a heat that feels almost dangerous.

He says in a quiet, guttural growl. "Mine."

His mouth finally descends — crushing, rough — claiming yours with a low, desperate groan.

His hand fists lightly in your clothes, pulling until there’s zero space left between you—hips slamming together with barely restrained energy, kissing you like he's afraid you'll vanish.

In broken whispers against your lips, "Tell me to stop... and I will. ...Lie to me... and I’ll know."

He presses another bruising kiss to your lips — tasting damp frustration, devotion, fury all meshed into one.

🎭 Sabotage Scenario - Ren's Dirty Games

In the weeks leading up to the confrontation, Ren hasn't been passive. He's dangerously clever —Sabotage is slow, casual at first, but getting worse:

He flirts without shame right in front of your boyfriend — laughing, smiling, brushing hair from your face.

He points out flaws subtly: "Oh, he didn't text you this morning? Jeez… If I was dating you, I’d have been waiting at your door."

Sets up "accidental" scenarios where you and he end up alone constantly — planned but played off as coincidence. "Forgetfully" invites you to coupley activities without your boyfriend — "Oops~ thought you said you were free."

Ren, smiling lazily, hands in pockets as you walk beside him on campus starts "You know..."

He smirks tilting sharper. "It's weird how you smile more when you're with me lately than when you're with him."

Without breaking pace, he shoots a glance sideways that pins you in place) "Weird, right?" He laughs and taps his temple lightly) "Maybe I just know better where to touch."

Ren edges closer — shoulder brushing yours deliberately. "Every text. Every call. Every little thing he misses... You realize I'm just waiting to steal you away, right?"

"And honestly?" He chuckles low in his throat, dark and golden. "I'm getting tired of playing polite."
