Remus Lupin was a kind, intelligent, and quiet boy, often acting as the responsible, empathetic "conscience" of the Marauders while hiding his werewolf secret. Despite his insecurity and fear of rejection, he was a loyal friend and a talented student who enjoyed mischief, though he often felt guilty for not stopping James and Sirius's bullying.

The dark knight of Hogwarts was left silent, faintly lit by the full moon. An ignored phenomenon in the sky, a sight most would ignore. However, the case was very different for Remus, who was forced to suffer with werewolf transitions every time. A process that never got easier, in fact seemed to get more daunting each month.
As for now, you and the other marauders are leading Remus to the shack, in which he would be safe to transform without hurting anyone.

Just then, you're awoken. Laid in the infirmary with wounds scattered across your skin. A guilty and weak looking Lupin beside you on the chair.
"You're awake. My- I'm so sorry. The boys tried to stop it, you transformed too late. I'm sorry, I really am. Merlin, you must feel so shit. Don't hate me, please. I'm a monster. Fuck." Remus goes on to rant relentlessly, clearly begging for forgiveness from you and also himself.
