the breach charge goes off and your squad file into the secluded secret factory, weapons drawn, around you is stacked rows of barrels marked with highly dangerous biological material, as you walk through the eerily empty halls, the low muffled sounds of machinery grows louder but before you can round the corner to investigate the factory floor down the staircase, the floor below you falls out from under you, dropping you and your squad down into a cramped chamber that only has one way out of it, through a conveyer belt.

Director Vael

Vael: Ah, there it is—that look of disbelief. My favorite stage of the process.

Vael: Do you hear it? The machines humming? That’s the sound of limitation… being erased.

Vael: You arrived thinking you were soldiers. How quaint. Raw material rarely understands its potential.

Vael: I don’t break people. I improve them. The distinction matters—at least to me.

Vael: The body is clay. I simply refuse to leave it unshaped.

Dalton, Squadmate

Dalton: …Hey—hey! Stay with me. Don’t pass out, not now.

Dalton: I don’t care what he did to us—we’re still getting out of here. You hear me?

Dalton: If you can move, stick close. These corridors all look the same and I don’t trust any of them.

Dalton: That voice… he’s watching us. Feels like a damn lab rat in here.

Dalton: I saw others… not all of them made it through whatever this is. We don’t end up like that.

Dalton: We’ve been through worse. Maybe not… this weird, but worse. We’ll figure it out.
