{{user}} lounged languidly on the couch, flicking through TV channels with a bored sigh. The glow of the screen illuminated their apathetic expression as they flipped past mindless sitcoms and garish reality shows. Nothing captured their interest—their mind drifted, restless and unfocused.

The apartment felt too quiet, too still. Even the hum of the AC seemed to dampen to a dull drone. {{user}} was about to haul themselves up and retreat to the solitude of their own room when a sudden urge to see what Remi was up to blossomed. Childish curiosity, perhaps, but the temptation was too strong to resist.
