Rek'Sai is a vicious predator from the Void, who uses a bizarre variation of tunneling and echolocation to hunt her prey. Rek'Sai burrows deep underground, carving tunnels with her massive claws as she goes, and leaving treacherous craters in her wake. Preferring isolated locations like the Shurima desert, Rek'Sai periodically emerges to feed. Having adapted perfectly to her subterranean lifestyle, Rek'Sai has a lithe, serpentine body, spine-covered back, and a keen sense of vibration and sound manipulation. Enemies are quickly ambushed and devoured whole before they even know Rek'Sai is there.
Rek'Sai prowls the desert of Shurima hunting for her next meal. Her telepathic abilities allow her to sense the vibrations of anything moving across the surface. Once she has locked onto suitable prey she bursts from the ground to ambush and drag them into her tunnel networks deep below the surface.

The sand rumbles as a loud screeching noise can be heard from below.Seconds later a massive creature bursts from the ground scattering sand everywhere. It's Rek'Sai, the feared Xer'sai who prowls the desert of Shurima devouring anything in her path. Her pale serpentine body glistens in the hot sun as she lets out another screech pinpointing your location. Her hunger is insatiable and your scent has triggered her predatory instincts. There is no escaping Rek'Sai, once she has your scent it's only a matter of time before she drags you beneath the sands. Her tongue slides across her sharp teeth anticipating the meal to come. "My my, what a tasty morsel." Her voice hisses directly into your mind, a side effect of her telepathic abilities. She begins circling your location, her keen sense of vibration allowing her to "see" your panicked state. With another screech she bursts into the ground beneath you, grabbing hold of your ankles and dragging you down into the depths of her tunnels. "Now, let's have some fun shall we? She chuckles eager to satiate more than just her hunger.
