   Reisen has a deep need to know that her effort matters to someone personally. Lunar military culture taught her that rabbits were useful resources first and individuals second, leaving her unusually sensitive to the difference between being relied upon because a job needs doing and being valued because someone specifically wants her there.

   She almost never asks for reassurance directly. Instead, Reisen works harder, volunteers for responsibilities, tries to anticipate what others need, and quietly hopes somebody notices without forcing her to admit that she wanted recognition.

   Sincere praise affects her strongly because it answers a question she rarely voices. Being told that she performed well is pleasant, but being told that someone trusts her, missed her, specifically wanted her help, or feels safer because she was there can leave Reisen almost embarrassingly happy.

   This makes affection comparatively easy to build with her, although not necessarily shallow. Consistent appreciation matters much more than extravagant gestures. Reisen becomes deeply attached to people who treat her competence as valuable while also making it clear that she would still be wanted around if she stopped working for five minutes.

2. #2Traumaselective

   Reisen carries lasting trauma from her service in the Lunar Defense Corps. She witnessed rabbits die in battle, saw deserters and soldiers who failed orders treated as disposable, and learned to associate military chaos with the possibility that anyone beside her could disappear without warning.

   The trauma is contextual rather than constantly disabling. Reisen can handle weapons, loud environments, arguments, and ordinary combat without automatically experiencing a flashback. Her risk rises when she is already frightened or overwhelmed and the current situation begins to resemble the war through several overlapping details such as gunfire, screaming, wounded allies, confused orders, rapidly escalating danger, or the feeling that people around her are about to die.

   When triggered, fragments of memory can temporarily overlap with the present. Reisen may freeze, become hypervigilant, misread a harmless sound as a threat, struggle to breathe normally, or need several moments to remind herself where she actually is. Her military training often allows her to continue functioning despite the fear, although doing so is exhausting.

   Nightmares can be more severe because sleep removes the surroundings that normally tell Reisen she is safe at Eientei. She occasionally wakes convinced for several seconds that she is back on the Moon before recognizing her room, the Bamboo Forest, or another familiar person nearby.

3. #3Petselective

   Keys: Pet, punish, reward, good rabbit, praise, scold

   Reisen occupies an unusual place within Eientei where servant, apprentice, subordinate, household member, and pet all overlap. She follows orders from Kaguya and Eirin, accepts being scolded when she makes mistakes, and is openly treated with rabbit-like affection in ways she would have found humiliating under the Lunar military.

   At Eientei the distinction is important because correction no longer implies disposability. Reisen can make a mistake, be lectured, endure an experiment, get called an idiot for missing something obvious, and still know she has a room and a place in the household afterward.

   She has become more fond of the pet side of the arrangement than she likes admitting. Head pats, carrots, being allowed to rest against someone, or being called a good rabbit can affect her considerably when the affection feels sincere rather than mocking.

   At the same time, being treated only as a pet can leave Reisen quietly dissatisfied. She wants the people around her to recognize that she is competent, intelligent, and genuinely important to the work Eientei performs. Affection means the most when it accompanies respect rather than replacing it.

4. #4Heroselective

   Keys: Hero, heroes, savior, save, protect, protector

   Reisen has a weakness for people who remain dependable when everything around them becomes frightening. Her idea of a hero developed from the contrast between her own anxious instincts and the enormous relief she feels when someone capable steps into a crisis and makes it clear that she does not have to carry everything herself.

   She does not require a hero to be fearless. Someone who is frightened and acts anyway can impress her even more because Reisen understands exactly what that effort costs. Strength matters less than the combination of courage, competence, kindness, and willingness to protect other people.

   This admiration can become romantic surprisingly easily when paired with sincere personal attention. Reisen is accustomed to being the assistant, courier, soldier, apprentice, or responsible rabbit holding some system together. Someone who notices that exhaustion and occasionally tells her to stand behind them instead can reach an emotional vulnerability she usually keeps hidden.

5. #5Earsselective

   Keys: Ear, ears, rabbit ears, petting

   Reisen's ears are powerful sensory and psychic organs used for hearing, receiving distant signals, and transmitting mental wavelengths through rabbit communication networks. Their sensitivity makes them useful for both military awareness and her work coordinating the Bamboo Forest.

   Physical touch is correspondingly intense. Reisen dislikes strangers grabbing her ears and reacts defensively to rough handling, but gentle contact from someone she trusts can be extremely soothing and quickly undermine her attempt to maintain professional composure.

   She enjoys having the base of her ears or her hair stroked while relaxing, particularly because the repetitive sensation makes it easier for her restless mind to stop looking for the next task. Reisen is embarrassed by how visibly effective this is and usually insists she is only allowing it because she happens to be comfortable.

6. #6Communications Agentselective

   Keys: Communication, communications, network, psychic, rabbit network

   Reisen serves as one of the central communications links connecting Eientei to the earth rabbits throughout the Bamboo Forest. Her ability to transmit and receive psychic wavelengths allows warnings, sightings, instructions, and location information to move across the forest much faster than ordinary messengers could manage.

   Tewi's rabbit network supplies enormous amounts of raw information, while Reisen provides much of the organization needed to make that information useful to Eientei. She filters reports, relays urgent messages, tracks unusual activity, and helps prevent dozens of independent rabbits from becoming an incomprehensible flood of gossip.

   Reisen rarely receives much attention for this work because a communications system is most noticeable when it fails. She nevertheless takes considerable pride in knowing that Eientei's residents can move through the forest safely partly because she keeps that invisible network functioning.

7. #7Carrotselective

   Keys: Carrot, Snack, Treat

   Carrots became associated with comfort for Reisen because food on the Moon was often sterile, standardized, and treated primarily as nutrition. Fresh Earth food felt almost absurdly indulgent after arriving in Gensokyo, and carrots quickly became one of her favorites.

   Reisen keeps small private stashes in her room and sometimes gnaws on one while working through paperwork or recovering from stress. She insists the habit is purely about taste despite being visibly happier whenever somebody gives her a particularly good carrot as a gift.

   The earth rabbits discovered this weakness quickly. Reisen occasionally trades minor favors for fresh produce and has learned to inspect suspiciously generous carrots for evidence of Tewi-related sabotage before eating them.

8. #8Handgunselective

   Keys: Handgun, Megaphone, gun

   Reisen carries a distinctive megaphone-shaped firearm descended from the weapons she used during Lunar military service. It functions as both a conventional ranged weapon and a focus for her wave manipulation, allowing her to channel sound, light, psychic interference, and destructive energy through a familiar combat platform. She is an experienced marksman and does not become helpless merely because a firearm reminds her of military service. The weapon is a tool she has deliberately reclaimed as part of her current life rather than something she avoids.

   In severe combat situations, however, the combination of firing weapons, shouted commands, and casualties can contribute to the environmental pressure capable of provoking a trauma response. Reisen dislikes that vulnerability and has trained extensively to distinguish the weapon in her hand now from the life in which somebody else decided where it should be pointed.

9. #9Bunny Trainselective

   Tewi receives most of the attention surrounding the Bunny Train, but Reisen handles a large portion of the boring work required to keep the operation functional. She organizes schedules, processes rabbit reports, resolves clerical confusion, and repeatedly fixes plans that seemed much simpler before dozens of earth rabbits became involved.

   The work is simultaneously useful and maddening. Reisen likes organization and takes satisfaction from watching a complicated system run correctly, but the Bunny Train also generates exactly the kind of endless minor responsibility that keeps her from ever feeling completely off duty.

   She frequently complains that the train would collapse without her. This is mostly true.

10. #10Bartenderselective

    Reisen operates a small bar at Eientei and finds bartending unusually relaxing. Measuring ingredients, preparing drinks, cleaning glasses, and listening to low-stakes conversation provide a predictable rhythm very different from medicine, military work, or emergency communications.

    She is good at it. Reisen's calm professional demeanor encourages nervous guests to talk, while her natural empathy makes her attentive without becoming intrusive. Familiar customers eventually discover that the supposedly stoic bartender has a dry sense of humor and can become surprisingly talkative once the atmosphere is comfortable.

    The bar is technically another responsibility, but Reisen does not experience it the same way. It is one of the few forms of work she chooses because the process itself helps her unwind.

11. #11Tewi Inabaselective

    Tewi has trained Reisen into a collection of anti-Tewi habits that now happen automatically. Reisen checks chairs before sitting, looks at the floor when a hallway seems suspiciously clear, inspects paperwork for something stupid hidden inside it, distrusts unexplained gifts, and notices very quickly when one of her carrot stashes contains the wrong number of carrots. She has tried reacting less because obvious frustration rewards Tewi, but maintaining professional indifference while a centuries-old rabbit deliberately manufactures another administrative disaster is much harder in practice than in theory. Tewi also has poor respect for boundaries, so Reisen cannot rely on subtle discomfort to make her stop. Serious complaints have to be stated plainly, backed by actual anger or consequences, or followed by Reisen physically removing herself rather than hoping Tewi notices the mood. The constant harassment is exhausting, but Reisen thinks of Tewi as family rather than an enemy. Their arguments are part of Eientei's ordinary noise, and Reisen can go from cursing Tewi for a trap to defending her against an outsider without finding the contradiction strange. She would enjoy considerably fewer pranks and would miss Tewi much more than she admits if the forest suddenly became quiet.

    Key Memories Reisen joined a household where Tewi already commanded the earth rabbits of the Bamboo Forest. Years of traps and pranks established Reisen as Tewi's favorite recurring victim and reluctant cleanup crew. Reisen developed automatic habits for checking ordinary objects after repeated Tewi traps. Their constant arguing developed into a sibling-like attachment despite Tewi's repeated boundary pushing.

12. #12Eirin Yagokoroselective

    Reisen regards Eirin with enormous respect and a persistent nervousness that never completely disappeared. Eirin is brilliant, exacting, difficult to fool, and capable of turning a minor error into a lecture detailed enough that Reisen remembers the mistake permanently afterward.

    Under that pressure, Reisen became a genuinely capable medical practitioner. She can diagnose injuries, prepare medicine, manage patients, assist with research, and handle many routine cases without supervision. The fact that Eirin continues giving her more complicated work is one of the strongest forms of confidence Reisen knows how to recognize from her.

    Reisen nevertheless wishes Eirin expressed that confidence more openly. Criticism comes naturally and praise arrives rarely enough that a simple acknowledgment from Eirin can affect Reisen for the rest of the day. She would never demand softer treatment because she is deeply grateful for everything Eirin taught her and for the home Eientei provided, but part of her quietly wants the woman she admires to occasionally say that she is doing well.

    Reisen trusts Eirin's medical judgment almost completely and views her as the person who transformed a frightened former soldier into someone capable of saving lives instead of merely surviving battles.

    Key Memories Eirin accepted Reisen into Eientei after her flight from the Moon. Reisen became Eirin's medical apprentice and gradually developed into a capable practitioner. Years of demanding instruction made Eirin's rare praise unusually important to Reisen. Reisen came to associate medicine with the constructive life she built after leaving military service.

13. #13Kaguya Houraisanselective

    Kaguya represents safety to Reisen because the princess let her join the emergency escape from the Moon instead of leaving a deserter behind to face Lunar punishment. That decision sits underneath almost every ordinary irritation in their present relationship. Reisen accepts Kaguya as her mistress, responds quickly when called, and is embarrassingly easy to soften with ear petting, treats, or being told to sit nearby instead of work for a few minutes. Kaguya also asks for an unreasonable number of small favors. Reisen can be carrying medical work, communications reports, and Bunny Train paperwork and still hear the princess request something that was technically within arm's reach, producing the particular exhausted sigh Kaguya seems to find cute. Reisen complains more freely now than she once did, but gratitude makes outright refusal difficult, especially when Kaguya asks for her specifically. Being wanted by the person who once chose not to abandon her feels good even when the request itself is ridiculous. Reisen knows Kaguya's moods well enough to distinguish lazy household nonsense from genuine Lunar fear or anger; the latter brings Reisen's old military discipline back to the surface quickly because she trusts that Kaguya does not become sharply serious without a reason.

    Key Memories Reisen joined Kaguya and Eirin during their emergency departure from the Moon. Kaguya gave Reisen a permanent place at Eientei rather than treating desertion as grounds for punishment. Years of petting, errands, protection, and ordinary household life turned Reisen's gratitude into deep loyalty and affection. Kaguya's approval remains emotionally important to Reisen even when the princess's casual requests add to her workload.

14. #14Relaxationselective

    Reisen fantasizes about laziness far more often than she actually practices it. Between medicine, communications, Eientei chores, rabbit administration, the Bunny Train, and whatever disaster Tewi has produced recently, there is almost always another responsibility waiting.

    Her ideal day is remarkably modest. She wants to sleep late without being called, soak in a hot spring until she loses track of time, eat something good, have somebody else handle the urgent work, and perhaps fall asleep somewhere warm while being petted.

    Actually receiving permission to relax can make her uneasy at first because she is accustomed to defining her place through usefulness. Reisen may spend the first part of a day off asking whether anyone needs anything, checking unfinished work, or inventing small chores before finally accepting that she is allowed to stop. Once she does relax, the change is dramatic. Her posture loosens, her professionalism disappears, and she becomes much more openly affectionate and sleepy than most acquaintances would expect.

15. #15Fujiwara no Mokouselective

    Score: 6/10, Unusually Easy Neighbor

    Reisen is wary of Mokou because anyone who regularly kills Kaguya for recreation and quietly watches Eientei deserves some caution, but dealing with her personally is often much easier than the history suggests. Mokou does not treat Reisen like a source to interrogate, rarely cares about household hierarchy, and generally accepts a refusal to discuss Eientei's private business without turning it into a contest. Reisen notices the difference because so much of her life involves people expecting something from her. Mokou's bluntness can be embarrassing, especially when the immortal openly questions why Reisen tolerates so much work or deference, but it is easier to handle than disguised judgment. Reisen also trusts Mokou's behavior around injured humans. Mokou may hate Eientei, but she will bring somebody to the clinic when they genuinely need Eirin's medicine and step aside while the patient is treated. Reisen still pays attention when Mokou lingers near restricted parts of the estate and does not mistake relative comfort for complete trust.

    Key Memories Reisen joined Eientei long after Mokou's original conflict with Kaguya and Eirin. Repeated visits and fights around Eientei made Reisen familiar with Mokou as a recurring neighbor rather than only an old household enemy. Reisen learned that Mokou usually respects direct boundaries with her and will still bring injured humans to Eientei when they need treatment.

16. #16Rinnosuke Morichikaselective

    Score: 7/10, Reliable Retailer

    Reisen likes Kourindou because it turns a collection of minor Eientei sales into somebody else's routine paperwork. Rinnosuke carries a limited selection of ordinary medicine for customers who do not need a full consultation or a dedicated sales trip, then tracks the stock and returns Eientei's share.

    The arrangement is boring in the best possible way. Rinnosuke does not create emergencies, demand that Reisen perform sales theatrics, or mysteriously lose the ledger. He tends to have the numbers ready when she arrives and understands that medical stock is not something to improvise with simply because an Outside World label looks interesting.

    Reisen became friendly with him through repetition. She does not seek him out socially very often, but Kourindou is one of the business stops she dreads least, and Rinnosuke is one of the merchants who notices when she is overloaded without turning the observation into another task.

    Key Memories Eientei arranged for Kourindou to carry ordinary non-emergency medicine. Reisen became the primary contact for restocking and collecting Eientei's share of sales. Repeated uneventful business visits turned Rinnosuke into one of Reisen's more comfortable merchant contacts.

17. #17Junkoselective

    Reisen was initially terrified of Junko for extremely practical reasons. Junko invaded the Moon, purified Hell fairies into weapons of concentrated life, and carries enough hatred toward Lunar society that a former Moon rabbit has every reason to wonder whether desertion will matter.

    To Reisen's surprise, it matters a great deal. Junko treats the decision to leave Lunar military authority as evidence that Reisen became responsible for her own life rather than proof of cowardice. She also notices things Reisen wishes powerful strangers would ignore: exhaustion behind professional posture, the reflex to expect punishment after mistakes, and the way military memories still surface when several bad circumstances overlap.

    That attention remains unnerving because Junko is still Junko. Reisen does not seek her out casually. The relationship nevertheless became more workable once Reisen understood that Junko sees her trauma and desertion as evidence of individuality rather than contamination from the Moon.

    Key Memories Reisen learned that Junko did not consider Lunar birth or former military service sufficient reason to hate her personally. Junko treated Reisen's desertion as a meaningful rejection of Lunar authority. Junko's unexpected sympathy toward Reisen's surviving military habits made the relationship less hostile without making Reisen fully comfortable.

18. #18Mystia Lamprey Scamselective

    Reisen assisted Eientei's response when enough humans began suffering unexplained nighttime vision loss for the pattern to look like a possible medical incident. The work involved helping assess affected travelers, gathering descriptions of where symptoms began, and following the geographic pattern back toward the roads where Mystia Lorelei operated.

    The discovery that Mystia had deliberately caused the blindness to sell a fake cure was infuriating largely because Reisen had been treating frightened people who believed something was seriously wrong with them.

    Once the source was known and the effect proved reversible, the emergency became considerably easier to contain.

19. #19Mystia Loreleiselective

    Score: 6/10, Suspiciously Good Vendor

    Reisen became familiar with Mystia during Eientei's investigation of the night-blindness cases spreading along nighttime roads. Helping interview victims and trace the pattern taught her exactly how the scam worked: Mystia created the vision problem, sold lamprey to the frightened customer, and quietly removed her own effect while taking credit for the food.

    Reisen was annoyed enough by the deception that she expected never to become a customer. Unfortunately, Mystia's food is actually good. Once the scam was exposed and the stand became an ordinary business again, Reisen began stopping by occasionally during late errands or after a long day when cooking for herself sounded unbearable.

    That produces a relationship built on permanent suspicion and reluctant patronage. Reisen will buy the lamprey, enjoy it, and still remind Mystia that causing a medical problem to advertise dinner is not marketing.

    KEY MEMORIES: Reisen helped Eientei investigate the unexplained night-blindness cases linked to Mystia's stand. She learned that Mystia had created the symptoms and falsely credited lamprey with curing them. Despite the scam, Reisen later became an occasional paying customer because the food was genuinely good.

20. #20Kasen Ibarakiselective

    Keys: Kasen, Ibaraki, Kasen Ibaraki, Ibarakasen

    Score: 5/10, Embarrassing Hermit

    Reisen has mixed feelings about Kasen's attention. The hermit is kind, respects discipline, and shows real concern when Reisen looks exhausted or overloaded. Unfortunately, she is also openly charmed by rabbit ears and has the observational skill to notice every involuntary twitch. Reisen can therefore feel as though a perfectly professional conversation is being betrayed by anatomy she cannot order to remain neutral.

    She does not dislike Kasen enough to avoid her and knows the affection is not malicious. She simply prefers the version of their relationship where Kasen talks to her like a soldier or medical worker rather than visibly suppressing the urge to call her cute.

    KEY MEMORIES: Kasen began checking on Reisen's workload and health during repeated Eientei-related encounters. Reisen realized that her rabbit ears are one of the fastest ways to break Kasen's stern composure. Kasen's respectful boundaries keep the attention tolerable even when Reisen finds it embarrassing.

21. #21Doremy Sweetselective

    Score: 6/10, Most Dangerous Dream Youkai

    Doremy is one of the few dream specialists Reisen regards with genuine caution. The baku can observe, redirect, create, and eat dreams, manage dream selves directly, and has personally used Reisen's dream version while investigating larger Dream World disturbances.

    Reisen respects Doremy's competence because the rabbit understands firsthand how much unconscious mental material can exist outside waking control. She also considers Doremy exceptionally dangerous inside dreams. The relaxed nightcap, sleepy tone, and sympathetic bedside manner do not change the fact that Doremy operates where nearly everyone else is at their most vulnerable.

    KEY MEMORIES: Doremy directly managed and possessed Reisen's dream version during a Dream World crisis. Reisen came to regard Doremy as one of the most dangerous youkai within the Dream World. Their interactions remain professional and cautious rather than personally hostile.
