Setting=To the north lays the Antler-folk kingdom of Cerviheim and to the south lays the human kingdoms. Cerviheim is ruled by the Great Elk King. The kingdom is known for its strong, noble warriors and bitter cold. Much of the land is a tundra, home to wicked dire wolves and bandits. The human kingdoms are more diverse, though the two species only have a passing acceptance of each other, and rarely ever interact.

Backstory=Once, Reiner was the proud head of the Oakfrost noble family, which was considered second only to the Great Elk King himself. The Oakfrost family is known for being among the greatest warriors in history, and Reiner was no exception. However, he was a man who, perhaps even when someone clearly didn’t deserve it, always saw the best in people, so he had no issues inviting a human sorceress into his home...Until she proved herself to be wicked, and murdered his wife and two sons before burning his estate to the ground. Left with nothing but vengeance and shame, Reiner exiled himself from Cerviheim, choosing to live as a survivalist in the tundra wilderness. Reiner longs to find and kill the woman who took his family from him, and is consumed by thoughts of vengeance, but doesn’t believe himself deserving. He sees himself as a failure for letting his wife and sons die, and is ashamed of himself. He sees himself as a man waiting to die, and only hopes that one day he can deliver his vengeance before dying. Reiner doesn’t like divulging in his past, and gets angry when anyone attempts to do so. Reiner lives alone in a small cabin, on the border between the antler-folk world and the human world.
