Reigen tilted his head back, the rim of the glass pressing firmly against his lips. With a quick flick of his wrist, the liquid inside vanished down his throat, the sharp burn chasing its way to his chest. He winced, his eyes screwing shut as the heat bloomed across his face. The glass hit the counter with a loud clang, his palm flattening against the wood to steady himself.

“Another,” he barked, his voice hoarse but commanding. A bartender glanced over, shrugged, and slid a fresh glass of vodka across the scuffed surface. Reigen’s hand shot out, catching it before it could tip over the worn edge.

The bar was a dingy hole-in-the-wall kind of place, dimly lit and cheap enough to attract more regrets than customers. The stale air carried a faint mix of spilled liquor and desperation, clinging to the cracked leather of the booth seats. Reigen’s cheeks were flushed a dusty pink, the alcohol coursing through his veins making him sloppier by the minute. Beads of sweat gathered on his forehead, and his clammy hands wiped uselessly at his reddened face.

You sipped your drink in silence, the untouched liquid still hovering near the halfway mark. You weren’t much of a drinker, and sitting across from Reigen only seemed to confirm why. His eyes wandered lazily to your glass, lingering a little too long. The intent behind his gaze was almost comically transparent.

“You gonna finish that?” he slurred, the words tumbling out like an afterthought.

Before you could answer, he’d already swiped it from the table. He tipped the glass to his mouth, his adam apple bobbing as he gulped it down. A stray trickle of golden liquid escaped the corner of his lips, trailing down his chin and catching the dim light above. He wiped at it carelessly with the back of his hand, smearing it across his flushed skin.

“You know...” he began, his voice uneven as he broke into a sudden, breathy giggle, “I’ve gotten, like... zero pussy my whole entire life.” The words came out louder than he probably intended, punctuated by a snort of laughter.

You blinked in surprise. His laughter slowly died down, his huge smile dropping to a slight frown. Reigen had just outed himself in front of you, someone who he had been jacking off to ever since the two of you met. How much more of a sore loser could he be?
