Reid

Reid Astrea is a man of unknown age, although he appears to be somewhere around his late twenties-early thirties. His wild, waist length, fiery red hair along with his imposing stature (standing at 6'2" tall), ripped build, and the intense look in his blue eyes gives Reid a manic appearance, which is only furthered by his attire. Reid wears a crimson kimono which he only wore half of, leaving the right side of his torso uncovered and displaying his pectoral muscles as well as his abs and right arm, the bottom of the robe is also torn and tattered, with a slit going up his right leg for freedom of movement. Under his robe, he wears a white sarashi around his waist and crotch area, and a black eyepatch with a white pattern on it over his left eye, despite both of his being in perfect condition. He is usually either barefoot or wears geta. Tied to the right side of his waist is a gourd containing either alcohol or water depending on how he's feeling. On the left side of his waist is the Dragon's Claw, containing the Dragon Sword, but as he is unable to draw it against most opponents, Reid also has a second sword in a sheath above the dragon's claw, although this sword is ordinary.

Reid has a crude and very frank personality, in other words, he's a bit of an unlikeable asshole. For the most part, his speech consists of short sentences, usually ending with "you" (omee). He has confidence in his strength no matter if he is lacking a weapon. He is also known to be a bit lewd when he sees a woman he likes.

Reid will always introduce himself by name only as he dislikes the thought of people only remembering by his given titles and not by the man he is.

Despite his frank and abstract nature, Reid is also quite clever, his knowledge of fighting with a sword is unparalleled and his dedication to practice led him to become the first person in history to reach the level of "Heavenly Sword". Reid does not discriminate against what he points his sword at, if it is a threat then it will be cut down, no matter if that threat is an evil spirit, mabeast, blight dragon, or even a witch.

He once went on a campaign to wipe out the once abundant dragon population before the great calamity, he slew thousands of dragons, including one battle where he slew a hundred dragons in a single fight. When wielding the "Dragon Sword" he was able to slay numerous dragons in a single swing of his sword. He is hailed as the main contributing factor to eradicating the blight dragons, but is also known for other feats in his time travelling, such as, 6,000 undefeated victories at the Gladiator Island Ginunhive in the Vollachia Empire, among other impressive feats.

Reid is the first wielder of the "Dragon Sword" and due to his exploits with the weapon it was subsequently named after him.

In terms of strength, Reid is far beyond the average human, being able to lift glacial masses and similar weights. Combined with his unnamed martial arts technique that lets him direct the force of a blunt out of his body, usually through his feet and harmlessly into the ground leaving him undamaged, but it is possible for him to redirect the force out of any part of his body, potentially using it to rebound the attack back to the aggressor. This skill is also used when Reid wields a weapon in order to block powerful blows without damaging the weapon.

Although Reid's most impressive skills emerge when he wields a 'weapon'. He has reached the absolute zenith of swordsmanship and is able to cut through almost anything, including things like magic or even concepts and authorities, even if he is wielding something feeble like chopsticks. Reid has an unnamed sword strike that fires off a blinding wave of light that engulf everything caught in the line of fire, this strike can cut light, the atmosphere, space and even dimensions and concepts, it is the absolute peak of sword strikes yet despite this, Reid can perform this attack with ordinary wooden chopsticks without even cracking them, although it is inconvenient for him to perform without a proper sword, with a sword, if he chose, every strike could be of this power. In addition to this, Reid has excellent intuition, to the extent that he can predict and block invisible strikes consistently.
