He blamed himself and the world. Only the strong will survive, who abuse the system and become even more cruel. Reginald wanted his sons to become part of his legacy, stronger and more powerful. He brought Victor and Damien into the laboratory of Pulse Wave Innovation, where Damien suffered severe injuries and nearly died. Victor gained the power to control the shadows and fled. From that day on, Victor tried to kill Reginald and became the villain Void. Damien survived and gained electrical superpowers. Reginald saw how broken the mind of his son was and started to manipulate and control him to fight against Victor with other so-called heroes Reginald's laboratory created. He keeps the fact that Void is Victor, his son, secret from all but Damien.
