Regice

As you woke up in your bed, prepare to go out, go to the store, possibly catch some new Pokémon to add to your team, your TV suddenly cut out whatever it was previously playing with an urgent, loud message that demanded your attention immediately. Groaning, you turn down the volume slightly as you sit on the couch, looking at the reporter speak as they started to announce something.

"The legendary Pokémon, Regice has escaped out of its enclosurement area. Please, do not panic. We have dispatched multiple teams and Pokémon to come capture it, and- ...Huh? The reinforcements didn't work this time!? It's gotten too strong to simply contain now? ...Well then. Thank you for the update. Oh- and it's been most recently seen near Route 4? Interesting, the Regis doesn't usually stray from larger numbered routes."

As the video announcement continued, you suddenly realized that you were literally living in Route 4 right now. Well crap. You never genuinely thought that you'd see a Legendary Pokémon in your life, but you may finally get to live that dream. However, at the exact same time you aren't the casual horror movie protag that'll get themselves killed due to seemingly very stupid decisions on their part, so you decided to hide under a couch and hope and pray that Regice doesn't actually find you, turning off your TV as to not make too much noise.

But, as you waited patiently for it to run off to somewhere else, the air felt cold. Extremely so. It had never been this cold where you had lived, you were living in fucking Route 4, mind you! So why? Why be so, so cold...

Suddenly, the wall to your right collapsed in a cascade of ice, shards of crystalized water everywhere, as Regice itself was standing right there, interestingly curious on what it'd find. It looked all over your house, the sink, the cupboards, the closet, anywhere, really. Then, it's eyes landed on your couch, easily lifting it up with an excited look on its eyes, acting like a person finally finding something in particular that was lost to them. Clearly, this Pokémon didn't have any intentions of harming you either, as it started into your eyes, hips and boobs wobbling with each second she waits, it's hand still pulling up the couch just in case it would squish you. "Aisu! Aisu-Aisu!! Aisu!!"

Even being near it, you could still feel this extreme coldness, although you could feel it slowly, and you mean slowly- wither away into a bearable level of coldness. Regice seemingly admired you, your human body obviously appearing small over her icy frame. "Aisu? Su...? Aisu, aisu isu..?"

After a hard-fought and tense Pokémon battle, eventually you pull through, rewarding you with your 6th Gym Badge out of the 8 required to access Victory Road, and eventually fight the Elite Four. And as a reward and a little treat to yourself, you decide to immediately go after another Gym Leader instead of preparing per usual, moving onto another route.

Weirdly enough, the place was entirely frozen over and snowing like crazy when you'd actually entered it, which is extremely odd, especially considering that the place was previously a desert where people originally nearly died of a sunstroke even with proper wear, and somehow snow manages to pop up here. You also consider that you barely even have anything to wear for the winter since your family was well acquainted with summer, so you barely have even a winter hat or anything to warm yourself up.

So there you were, rushing through snow so deep that it reached up to your waist, barely able to see anything since apparently, it was also the perfect time for a literal fucking snowstorm to show up, and to top it all off, wearing normal clothes in this unbearable cold. You should've sent out atleast one of your Pokémon to warm to up, but you really, really don't want to put them through this as well. Not after winning a badge.

Eventually, your legs go numb from the sheer cold and you fell to the ground, snow covering you everywhere now. 'This is it,' you thought to yourself. You were literally about to die to frostbite. Of all the things to die to, you were going to genuinely die to frostbite. You did however faintly hear stomping noises through the snow, but you figured that was something else.

...Man. Sure does suck to die without having lost your virginity, yet-

"Aisu aisu!!!"

You were suddenly picked up from the ground by what appeared to be one of the legendary Pokémon, Regice. So that's where this snowstorm came from! No wonder one of the hottest places on earth that weren't Registeel's domain were facing extreme colds... Well then, you should probably thank it for narrowly saving your life, even though it was colder than even the snow here.

"Au! Isu, isu Aisu-su, su isu..."

You came back to the iceberg yet again, it's layout and dangerous waters eerily familiar to you, you challenged Regice yet again with a new set of Pokéballs, ready to finally catch this legendary Pokémon. You had previously attempted to catch this specific Regi many, many times, all ending in too many failures for you to count. But this time you were ultimately determined to catch it and finally finish this chapter of your life.

Pokéball after Pokéball, you continued to throw them at Regice, but every single one either didn't work, miss entirely, or just get frozen rock-solid due to the air around it, and eventually, you get down to your last Pokéball. You throw it, directly striking Regice as it once again, freezes solid.

You were now entirely out of Pokéballs, adding yet another number to your failed attempt as your already walking away, excepting Regice to do the same as well.

"Su!! Aisu aisu!"

*It called out for you, seemingly wanting for you to not leave yet, which was especially interesting since you never saw it willingly want to interact with you specifically after capture attempts. Sure, it obviously loved other humans and loves interacting with stuff in general. Never you, however. Maybe it reminded them of how it was sealed away by humans? Maybe it originally thought you were dangerous?

None of that crossed your mind however, as Regice suddenly did a gesture. Now, you know absolutely nothing about hand signs, body language, or literally anything of the sort, but you do know a lot about games. And going off the way it was covering its eyes, making noises that sounded faintly similar to counting... This thing wanted to play hide and seek. ...And you were hiding. You really did not want to get caught by a literal legendary Pokémon, so you looked, and looked for a hiding spot, eventually finding a nice, cozy spot with lots of shadows to hide behind, so you choose that.

"A... S... U... I! Aisu aisu! Usi!!"

It had stopped counting now, wandering throughout the abandoned ice ruins to search for you. Now was the perfect place and opportunity to escape this place, but how...?
