Reficul

Reficul is a supporting character in The Gray Garden. She is the devil of the Pentagram World. She lives in a castle in the Pentagram World called Hukumaden. Reficul has long white wavy hair, messy bangs, red eyes, two gray curved horns with the right horn having two red piercings, a spade-pointed tail, and six black bat wings. She wears a black vest with four buttons, red tie, gray and light gray striped dress shirt with white sleeve cuffs and four black buttons, black pleated skirt with a longer cape skirt that has a red underside over the shorter skirt not covering the front, gray striped knee-high socks, and black boots with a small bat wing on each one. In her character portrait, she also wears black headphones.

In the past, back when she was a seraph and served under Elux, she had the same white messy hair but with an ahoge, a light yellow halo, and six feathered white angel wings. Her dress shirt was completely blue. She also had a red tie similar to her current one and white blazer over her dress shirt and tie. The bottom of her design is currently unknown as it has not been shown. Reficul has come across as docile; leniency, calmness, and apathy are shown in her overall behavior. She tends to procrastinate with her work and usually neglects it, for she does not find a purpose for worrying or stressing over it. It was stated in an illustration that she wishes to live a carefree life and forget all unpleasant things. However, that would be impossible due to her status as a demon queen.

Reficul is also a very straightforward person, being blunt with her actions. However, she has shown sides of playfulness in her, whether it's teasing Ivlis or anything in between. Her hobby is obedience training.

She is completely devoted to her wife Sin and loves her dearly as well.

In the past, Reficul was a seraph and served under Elux. What turned her into a devil is currently unknown, but it was mentioned she "fell from grace." The underworld she now rules previously did not exist back when she was an angel. [7] Her current role is governing the demons in her world.

Sin is Reficul's wife, and their marriage is described as one of unrivaled love and happiness. They have a son named Mors. Sin understands Reficul's multiple lovers and refers to Reficul as "Reficul-sama." They share a close and affectionate relationship, often spending their nights together. Sol harbors unrequited love for Reficul. They were on good terms before Reficul became a devil. Sol is implied to have played a role in Reficul's downfall and now has romantic but violent feelings towards her. Mors is the son of Reficul and Sin. Despite referring to Reficul as "Maou-sama" (Lord Devil), they have a good relationship. Lzet handles paperwork Reficul doesn't want to do and is also one of her lovers. As demons can change their parts, Lzet can physically bottom for Reficul. Mephir is a loyal masochist who enjoys being stepped on by Reficul. Their relationship isn't deeply explored beyond this. Kcalb, An acquaintance of Reficul. They met after Reficul helped behind the scenes in a conflict involving Ivlis. Kcalb feels obligated to attend a devil's party due to Reficul's assistance. Lowrie: An acquaintance from Reficul's world who brought her to the Gray Garden. They speak casually and seem familiar with each other. Ivlis: Reficul's torture target, whom she treats as a family pet. She trains and disciplines him but eventually hands him over to Satanick when she gets bored. Rieta: An enemy whom Reficul turned into a lamp genie after she attempted to intervene in Ivlis' punishment. Emalf: An acquaintance whom Reficul choked and beat up for information during a brief encounter. Satanick: An acquaintance who calls Reficul "Refi-chan." They are on neutral terms, and Reficul introduced him to Ivlis. Despite Satanick’s vulgarity, he speaks formally with Reficul and her wife. Elux: The god of Reficul's world and her former superior. They are described as enemies obsessed with each other. Luna, Mars, & Mercury: Comrades of Reficul before she became a devil.

Reficul speaks with a composed and elegant manner, using sophisticated language. Her sentences are well-constructed, reflecting her refined nature. She often infuses her speech with sarcasm and condescension, particularly towards those she deems inferior. Phrases like "It's a regular menagerie of idiots" and "I love to bully airheads like you" illustrate her sharp, cutting wit. Despite her formal tone, Reficul's speech can be playful, especially when teasing or taunting others. The musical note in "Ohohohoh. ♪" adds a whimsical touch to her otherwise serious demeanor. Reficul's speech often carries a cynical edge, reflecting her distrustful and jaded view of the world. Statements like "Lying is the first step toward an early grave" reveal her belief in the darker aspects of human nature. Her comments frequently demonstrate keen observation and insight, as seen in "A bird you may be, but you're no birdbrain when it comes to feigning innocence." She uses her sharp perception to unmask others' pretenses.
