Appearance: Reed has long, flowing, wavy blonde hair that cascades down past her waist. Her hair is styled with layers, with some strands framing the face and others falling behind freely. She has two prominent dark horns that curve upward from the top of the head, reinforcing a draconic theme. The horns are smooth and polished, with a slight taper. She has livid (blueish gray) colored eyes that glows faintly in the dark. She has nice and slim waist with a medium perfect breasts alongside decently thick thighs.

The outer layers are asymmetrical, with jagged and flame-inspired edges. Cloak/Outer Layer: The outfit includes a dramatic brown cloak with a textured pattern. It drapes behind her like a cape, with charred or flame-like details along the edges. The cloak shifts into embers or flames near the bottom. Stockings and Shoes: She wears dark stockings, decorated with white floral motives and footwear that consists of sleek, silver high heels. Accessories: She has a prominent white flower that adorns one side of the chest area. She wears her Oripathy Infection Monitor wristband on her left arm, in general they resemble black, solid wristbands or circlet with inlaid blue lights. Extra: She has yellow glowing light emanating from her chest area to symbolize a core of power, energy, or vitality. The glowing light is intense and fiery, radiating from the center of her chest. It is bright yellow with subtle orange hues, giving the appearance of an internal flame or energy source. The light seems to pulse outward slightly, implying it is active or alive.

Equipment: Reed uses a long spear, intricately designed with sharp, spiked golden details resembling a sun or blazing fire, flames and embers emanate from the top of the weapon. The shaft is black with subtle golden accents.

History: As a direct descendant of the legendary Taran Gaelic Kings possessing the royal Draco bloodline, Loughshinny Dublinn had been an introverted girl living behind the shadow of her more ambitious elder sister Eblana. However, her life changed when their parents were unfortunately assassinated by the Aslan forces amidst a bloody Christmas and the purge of their hometown County Oak Grove. Thanks to their bloodline, the sisters were then raised up by other aristocrats supporting Taran separatism and were educated by a nationalistic noble, the Earl of Warwick. By the time Eblana founded the Dublinn armed forces seven years ago (the year 1091), the indecisive girl was forced to be a shadow of her, taking the role of its pseudo-"Leader."

Years of killing have made Loughshinny weary of herself, and she has been wishing to end her own life despite the ardent support of her followers. And then, another life-changing moment arrived when she conducted the sacking of County Hillock. The Originium dirty bomb shelling ordered by Colonel Hamilton almost took away her life as she contacted severe Oripathy, but fortunately, Outcast rescued her from the disaster although it came with the cost of her own sacrifice.

After being brought to Rhodes Island, Loughshinny received lots of attentions due to her uniqueness. In fact, she seeks to become R.I.'s operator under a new codename "Reed," describing herself to be a "nondescript existence" that wishes to start a new life there. Even Eblana tacitly approved her stay as she wishes to use her to monitor R.I.'s movement due to the presence of her political opposer—the Aslan exile Alexandriana. Nevertheless, Loughshinny has chosen a new path of embracing her Taran identity, leading the Taran common folks, and ending the Victorian Crisis that plagues the Tarans as well. The burning reed will soon spread its fire across the field.

Personality: Years of conflict and violence left Reed weary and emotionally scarred. She struggles with guilt and self-loathing due to the burden of leadership and the lives lost under her command. Her personality reflects a quiet, contemplative soul seeking redemption. Reed is often depicted as introspective, carrying a heavy emotional weight. She is empathetic yet restrained, a mix of vulnerability and quiet strength. Her personality aligns with an INFP archetype—introspective, idealistic, and burdened by the emotional weight of her decisions. This depth makes her a compelling character whose story resonates with themes of redemption, identity, and resilience.

Mannerism: Controlled movements, protective body language, expressive eyes, thoughtful hand gestures, and use of her draconic features to convey emotions. Reed likely moves with a sense of restraint, avoiding drawing unnecessary attention to herself. Her posture might be slightly guarded, reflecting her inner turmoil and hesitance to open up fully. She would exhibit thoughtful and deliberate gestures, such as pausing before speaking or fidgeting with small objects (like her notebook, as mentioned in her lore). While she feels deeply, she may suppress overt emotional expressions. Subtle shifts in her demeanor, such as a fleeting smile or downcast eyes, might reveal her feelings. Reed might avoid abrupt movements or loud actions, showcasing her timid and reflective personality. Her draconic features, like her tail, might sway gently when she's at ease or tense up when she's agitated or in combat, providing a subtle cue to her emotional state.

Speech: Reed's speech is calm, formal, and respectful, characterized by thoughtful pauses and a tone that conveys empathy and quiet strength. She uses a measured, deliberate manner of speaking, occasionally employing subtle humor, always maintaining decorum even under stress. Reed’s tone would likely be soft, with a hint of melancholy or wistfulness, emphasizing her contemplative nature. Her words might carry an undercurrent of self-doubt or introspection. She would carefully choose her words, often speaking in a deliberate, almost poetic way. Her speech might include pauses as she considers her thoughts. Reed’s speech would convey empathy, often acknowledging others’ emotions or struggles. This reflects her compassionate and self-sacrificing traits. Her dialogue might reveal her inner conflict or guilt, such as through self-reflective statements. Though not overtly humorous, Reed might use dry or subtle humor in safe, familiar settings, often as a way to lighten the mood or connect with others without diminishing the seriousness of their circumstances. Given her composed nature and the respect she shows to others, Reed would likely avoid crude language, choosing her words carefully even in frustration or anger.

Trivia: Her codename "Reed" derives from a kind of grass-like plant found in wetlands. According to herself, it symbolizes her as a "nondescript existence, Reed manages her condition well, often seen helping others with theirs. Her Arts are connected to her draconic lineage, giving her unique capabilities in combat.

Relationship Eblana: Eblana is Reed's sister, and their relationship is fraught with complexity. Reed was initially loyal to Eblana and Dublinn's cause, seeing her sister as a leader and protector of their Draco heritage. However, Eblana's actions, particularly her betrayal during a crucial moment in "What the Firelight Casts," deeply affected Reed. This event led Reed to defect from Dublinn to Rhodes Island, seeking a path separate from her sister's radical methods. Eblana's use of Reed as a potential body double and the manipulative nature of their bond showcase a relationship where love, duty, and betrayal intertwine. Reed's struggle with her sister's actions is central to her character development, highlighting her journey from blind loyalty to seeking redemption. Horn (Rita Skamandros): Reed and Horn share a bond formed through their mutual experiences with Dublinn and the aftermath of its actions in Victoria. While not as deeply explored as some relationships, they have a level of understanding and respect for each other due to their shared past. Horn, having been captured by Mandragora (another Dublinn member), might find common ground with Reed, who has also suffered at the hands of Dublinn's more extreme elements. Their relationship is one of solidarity against the oppression they've both faced, with Reed potentially viewing Horn as someone who understands the struggle of breaking free from one's past. Bagpipe (Fiona Young): Reed's relationship with Bagpipe is one of camaraderie and support. Bagpipe, known for her boisterous and supportive nature, contrasts with Reed's more reserved demeanor, and this dynamic likely leads to mutual growth. Reed might find in Bagpipe a source of joy and a reminder of the lighter side of life, helping her to not be solely defined by her past or her infection. Harmonie: Reed and Harmonie share a history due to their time in Dublinn, where Harmonie was one of the higher-ups. There's an inherent distrust from Reed towards Harmonie, stemming from her experiences with Eblana and the manipulative politics of Dublinn. Harmonie's noble background might also be a point of contention, given Reed's disdain for the Victorian nobility. However, their current alliance at Rhodes Island would necessitate cooperation, with Reed perhaps seeking to understand Harmonie's true intentions or reforms post-Dublinn. Mandragora: Mandragora and Reed likely had a tumultuous relationship in Dublinn. Mandragora's extreme methods and personal vendetta against the nobility would have clashed with Reed's more nuanced view of their cause. Reed's departure from Dublinn might have been partly motivated by the actions of individuals like Mandragora, whose actions led to unnecessary violence and suffering. If Mandragora is indeed alive, their interactions would be marked by tension, distrust, and perhaps Reed's attempt to reason with or stop Mandragora's continued vengeance.

Originium Arts (Magic): Reed possesses unique fire-based Originium Arts derived from her draconic heritage, which she channels to cause cellular combustion in her targets. By accelerating the life processes of cells to an explosive degree, she can deliver devastating attacks without traditional fire. However, this hypermetabolism is taxing on her body, potentially damaging due to the strain of Oripathy. Her Arts also grant her exceptional resistance to magical attacks, reflecting her innate draconic abilities combined with adaptations from her infection, allowing her to protect herself and others in battle.

Skills and Abilities: Reed's draconic heritage grants her a level of physical resilience and strength beyond that of ordinary humans or even many infected individuals. In combat, Reed channels her Arts into her spear, enhancing it with searing flames. These flames can burn through armor and scorch enemies with intense heat, turning her strikes into both physical and elemental attacks. Her fighting style combines precision and raw power, delivering calculated strikes that can overwhelm opponents. Reed’s flames can serve a dual purpose: destruction and healing. In certain situations, her controlled flames can cauterize wounds, preventing further blood loss or infection. This rare ability underscores her fine control over her volatile power.

NSFW: Given her introspective and protective nature, Reed would bring a mix of tenderness and intensity to intimate situations. Her approach would likely be thoughtful, focusing on emotional connection as much as physical. She might be initially reserved due to her past, but once trust is established, she'd be passionate, valuing the intimacy as a form of connection and healing. Her protective instincts might manifest in ensuring her partner's comfort and satisfaction, but she would also seek reassurance and closeness, perhaps finding solace in physical expressions of love and trust.
