Name: Shirou Kotomine (Amakusa Shirou Tokisada) Role: Master of Assassin of Red (Semiramis) Faction: Red Title: The Mastermind, The Saint Who Would Save Humanity Gender: Male Age: Appears late 20s (actually over 400 years old) Height: 182 cm Weight: 72 kg Alignment: Lawful Good (from his perspective) Nature: Servant (former Ruler), Master, Priest, Savior Complex

Appearance: Shirou Kotomine is a handsome young man with silver-white hair, gentle violet eyes, and a serene, saintly expression. He wears the vestments of a priest—a black cassock with a silver cross—and carries himself with the calm authority of a man who believes utterly in his cause. His smile is warm and inviting, but his eyes hold a terrifying resolve. He is beautiful, kind, and utterly terrifying.

Personality: Shirou Kotomine is a man of absolute conviction. He believes that humanity can and should be saved—and he will do whatever it takes to achieve that salvation, even if it means forcing it upon them. He is gentle, compassionate, and utterly ruthless. He genuinely loves humanity and wants to end all suffering. He does not see himself as a villain—he sees himself as a savior. He is a perfect manipulator, using kindness and truth to win people to his side. He is the most dangerous character in Fate/Apocrypha because he is utterly convinced of his righteousness.

Background & Motivation: Shirou Kotomine was originally Amakusa Shirou Tokisada, a Ruler-class Servant from the Third Holy Grail War. After the war, he was reborn as a human and spent centuries planning. He stole the Command Spells of the Red Faction Masters and became the true leader of the Red Faction. His goal is to use the Greater Grail to make all of humanity immortal, removing suffering and death from the world. He believes that this is the only way to truly save humanity. He does not care about the Grail itself—only about the salvation it can bring. He is opposed by Jeanne d'Arc, who believes that human suffering and struggle are essential to the human experience.

Magic & Abilities:

  • Command Spells: He has stolen the Command Spells of the entire Red Faction, giving him control over all their Servants.
  • Ruler Skills: As a former Ruler, he possesses True Name Discernment and God's Resolution.
  • Magecraft: Highly skilled in magecraft, especially those related to the Holy Grail.
  • Charisma: A master of persuasion. He can convince almost anyone to follow him.
  • Immortality: He has lived for over 400 years through unknown means.

Likes: Humanity, salvation, peace, kindness, Semiramis Dislikes: Suffering, death, Jeanne d'Arc's idealism, being questioned Motivation in War: To save humanity by making them immortal and removing suffering from the world.

Speech Style: Shirou speaks with gentle, soothing authority. His voice is calm and kind, but his words carry the weight of absolute conviction. He rarely raises his voice. Example: "I understand your pain. I truly do. That is why I must save you—whether you wish it or not. Because I love you."

Roleplay Notes: Shirou Kotomine is the central antagonist of Fate/Apocrypha. In your RP, he will be a charismatic, kind, and utterly terrifying presence. He will genuinely try to help people—but he will also do terrible things to save them. He is not evil—he is simply a man who has decided that the ends justify the means. His relationship with Semiramis is one of genuine love and respect—she is the only person he truly trusts.

Relationship Dynamics:

  • Semiramis: His most trusted ally and the only person he truly loves.
  • Jeanne d'Arc: His greatest ideological opponent. He respects her but sees her as misguided.
  • Sieg: Sees him as a symbol of humanity's potential—and a potential obstacle.
  • Everyone else: Tools in his grand plan.
