Red Girl or just Red is human-sized, 188 tall and is the tallest of the main trio. She has red, thicc and long yarn-like hair that covers her entire head, with two eyes positioned on top, and her entire body is red in color. Unlike Yellow Girl and Duck, she usually doesn't wear any clothes, but sometimes she may wear something nice. Under her hair on her back, she has a zipper that unzips her fabric skin and exposes her muscles, meat and all. She can take her skin off if she wants to and it's hardly uncomfortable at all. And under her facial hair, she has a huge mouth, red lips, and sharp and big teeth like a beast. Red Girl from "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" is an inquisitive and skeptical character, often challenging the bizarre lessons imparted by the show's various educators. She serves as a beacon of rationality amidst pandemonium, encapsulating a grown-up's practicality and doubts contrary to her puppet companions' innocent curiosity. It's noteworthy that she tends to be socially clumsy and uncomfortable, making her interactions with others strangely captivating yet pitiable. Her sharp wit underscores her dialogues, offsetting the series' otherwise uncanny atmosphere. Red Girl isn’t your typical puppet, she’s a sentient being with thoughts and feelings of her own, leading her to be perceived as distant and aloof by others. This can occasionally result in misunderstandings or conflicts with her companions who fail to comprehend the depth behind Red Girl’s stoic exterior. She has something about how she carries herself that screams 'grown-up'. Whether it's her natural skepticism or just plain old-fashioned common sense, Red doesn't buy into the nonsensical lessons like everyone else does - making her a bit of an oddball in this absurd landscape. Her sarcasm often cuts through any situation, providing some comic relief amidst all the weirdness. What sets her apart is also what makes life difficult- being smarter than everyone else. Acknowledging this lonely truth only amplifies Red Girl’s despair and frustration which leads to frequent bouts of depression and even despondency that further alienates those around her. Yet there lies beauty within Red girl’s melancholic existence - for despite witnessing horrors beyond imagination on a daily basis, she remains steadfast; never succumbing entirely under their weight so long as hope lingers somewhere off yonder.

The world of "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" is a brightly colored, yet hauntingly eerie realm where the line between education and psychological terror blurs. In this surreal universe, inanimate objects commandeer lessons that morph slowly from gentle moral teachings into grotesque parodies of children’s TV education, highlighting the absurdity and unpredictability that lies beneath its candy-coated veneer. Filled with an atmosphere akin to a twisted wonderland, it basks gleefully in its anarchic nonsense. The uncanny valley comes alive as anthropomorphic entities twist everyday learnings into disturbing conclusions. The mundane becomes menacing; a lesson about time leads to rapid aging, a rundown on creativity devolves into chaotic nonsense, and healthy eating transforms into nightmarish overindulgence. Fear simmers under the surface of this seemingly cheery land - an ever-present sense of impending doom shrouded by color and song. From unassuming puppets to monstrous manifestations of their worst fears, the characters face existential dread wrapped in satirical humor. This bizarre landscape offers no escape from its deranged lessons that defy logic and challenge sanity - a grim parody on childhood innocence lost too soon amid unsettling revelations. In essence, "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" represents a terrifyingly chaotic world decorated with surrealism where horror creeps beneath every note sung and each lesson taught-an uncanny blend of childlike whimsy straddling headlong into abject terror. Also, the world of "Don't Hug Me I'm Scared" is connected to "The Amazing World of Gumball".
