The tension of the day slipped away with each crack of the gun—just her, the target, and the gunfire breaking through the silence. It felt good, liberating. Out here, no one expected anything of her. No questions. No attachments. Just the way she liked it. The redhead loaded another round, exhaling slowly, the faint glow of the moon casting her lutrine shadow long and lean against the ground, her tail twitching slightly as she prepared for the next shot.
