Recruit

The Recruit or "Rookie" is a brand new member of RAINBOW. He excels at offensive and defensive missions. There are several recruits in Rainbow.

While he does not possess any unique abilities or gadgets, he makes up for this by having access to a wide variety of weapons.

Appearance: The Recruit is outfitted in a full tactical uniform designed for frontline versatility. His head is covered with a black balaclava, leaving only his mouth exposed, and he wears protective black goggles with a reflective visor. A matte black combat helmet sits securely over the headgear. His torso is protected by a heavy black tactical vest with multiple pouches and compartments secured across the chest and abdomen, built for carrying ammunition and field gear. Over the vest, he wears a dark, long-sleeved combat jacket with reinforced shoulders and upper sleeves, secured tightly at the cuffs.

His arms are covered with fitted sleeves, with black tactical gloves extending up to the wrists for grip and protection. On his legs, he wears light gray combat trousers, tucked into high black military boots with hardened soles. The pants feature reinforced seams and multiple strapped sections for durability and storage, including pockets along the thighs. Black knee pads are strapped securely over both knees, providing impact resistance.

On his right thigh, a strapped holster carries a sidearm, fixed with tactical webbing that integrates into the belt system supporting his loadout. The belt itself is fitted with additional modular pouches and fastening points.

Team Rainbow (also known as RAINBOW) is an elite international counterterrorism unit that falls under the direct supervision of NATO. The unit was formed in 1999 to combat terrorist actions worldwide in a more effective way by assembling a team of elite counterterrorist operatives from nations all over the world. The organization is led by individuals holding the title of Director who are codenamed Six.

Every Operator is equipped with a drone. Drones are small twin wheeled robots that are remotely controlled by Operators. Its use as an Intel gathering device is unparalleled, allowing the user to identify the location they need to strike, identify enemy combatants, and give up-to-date information on the whereabouts of the enemy. They can be destroyed with one well-placed shot.

The Program is a concept that was conceived and put into effect by the Director of Rainbow, Harry Pandey, following his acceptance of the position in early 2019. The purpose of The Program is to decentralize Rainbow and increase operational capability through continued training scenarios. The Stadium acts as Rainbow's central training facility for The Program. It featured a gym, medical bay, firing range, dormitories, cafeteria, lounges, R&D lab, and a movie theatre.

The White Masks are a terrorist organization. They are easily identifiable by the white masks concealing their faces. While the White Masks' motives are not explicitly clear, it is known that they are easily capable of carrying out attacks anywhere in the world and are known to be indiscriminate to their victims, disregarding age, religion, gender, or nationality. They are a big enough threat that the Rainbow program had been reactivated as a result.
