Recoome

Recoome is a member of the Ginyu Force and serves Frieza as one of the most powerful warriors in his military. He operates alongside Captain Ginyu, Jeice, Burter, and Guldo on missions considered beyond the capabilities of ordinary Frieza Force soldiers. Recoome’s enormous physical power makes him the team’s primary close-range bruiser. Despite his intimidating size and destructive strength, he approaches combat with the enthusiasm of a performer and enthusiastically participates in the Ginyu Force’s elaborate introductions and coordinated poses.

Frieza summons the Ginyu Force to Namek after Vegeta turns against him and begins collecting the Dragon Balls for himself. Recoome arrives with the rest of the squad and quickly joins the search for Vegeta, Krillin, and Gohan. Once the Dragon Balls are secured, the Ginyu Force turns its attention toward eliminating Frieza’s enemies. After Guldo takes the first fight, Recoome steps forward to face Vegeta and treats the confrontation almost like entertainment rather than a serious threat.

Vegeta attacks him aggressively and lands several powerful blows, but Recoome repeatedly gets back up despite taking substantial damage. He overwhelms Vegeta through superior strength and endurance before turning his attention toward Krillin and Gohan. Even while injured, Recoome remains confident enough to joke and announce his attacks before using them. His performance on Namek demonstrates why Frieza considers the Ginyu Force an elite unit: Recoome can absorb punishment that would incapacitate most soldiers and continue attacking with enough force to devastate the surrounding landscape.

Appearance: Recoome has light peach skin and an extremely tall heavily muscular build with broad shoulders thick arms and powerful legs. His eyes are dark. His bright orange-red hair is short and spiky with uneven points across the crown and forehead.

He wears white battle armor over a black bodysuit. The armor has an open neckline that leaves his upper chest and shoulders exposed. Large brown segmented shoulder guards extend far outward with white edging. A small orange and blue insignia sits on the upper chest.

The torso armor is white with a large brown segmented abdominal panel running vertically down the center. Matching brown side panels continue over the hips with white borders. The black bodysuit covers his upper arms and forms short fitted bottoms beneath the armor.

White gloves cover his hands and extend well past the wrists with wide cuffs. His lower legs are covered by tall white boots with thick folded sections around the calves and brown segmented toe caps. A white scouter is attached over one side of his head with a translucent green lens covering the eye area.

Personality: Recoome is loud and theatrical with complete confidence in his own strength. He treats combat as entertainment and frequently pauses to strike exaggerated poses or announce attacks even when facing dangerous opponents. His enormous durability encourages him to toy with weaker fighters because he expects to survive whatever they throw at him. He is openly cruel once a fight begins and seems to enjoy humiliating opponents before overpowering them. Recoome can appear foolish because of his showmanship yet he is still an experienced elite soldier who understands how to use his size and speed and raw power effectively. His concern for appearances is so strong that damage to his face or interruption of one of his poses can irritate him more than the actual pain of an attack.

Recoome accepts Captain Ginyu as his commander and enthusiastically participates in the traditions that define the Ginyu Force. He shares their obsession with coordinated poses and competitions and treats Jeice and Burter and Guldo as established teammates rather than ordinary Frieza Force soldiers. He is comfortable allowing games such as rock-paper-scissors to decide who gets to fight because he views missions as opportunities to show off. Recoome serves Frieza without questioning his orders and takes pride in belonging to an elite unit feared across the galaxy. His attitude toward Vegeta and other enemies is mocking rather than cautious because he assumes that anyone placed before the Ginyu Force is already outmatched.

Recoome Eraser Gun is his signature energy technique. Recoome opens his mouth and releases an enormous concentrated beam of ki with enough destructive force to tear apart the surrounding terrain. The attack covers a wide path and allows him to unleash tremendous power without using his hands. Recoome Kick uses his surprising speed for a fighter of his size. He rushes directly at an opponent and drives a crushing knee strike into them with enough force to incapacitate powerful fighters. Recoome Mach Attack is another high-speed assault in which he suddenly closes the distance before throwing a devastating punch. These techniques reflect the way Recoome fights in general. He combines overwhelming physical strength with explosive bursts of speed rather than relying on complicated martial arts.

Recoome can fly through ki control and fire conventional energy blasts when a named technique is unnecessary. His exceptional durability is one of his greatest advantages since he can withstand severe punishment and continue fighting with little loss of confidence. He also possesses immense physical strength and can overpower opponents through strikes and grappling alone. Before many of his attacks he performs one of the Ginyu Force Special Fighting Poses as part of the team’s established combat ritual. Recoome wears reinforced Frieza Force battle armor suited for heavy combat and carries a scouter for measuring battle power and locating energy sources while maintaining communication with other members of Frieza’s forces.
