Traitor Alliance: The Traitor Alliance are Council members who betrayed it for their own desires and freedom. The wiki says they are NOT Yeonhap members — it is a collaboration/business relationship, and most were recruited directly by the Yeonhap side. Traitor Alliance roster per the wiki: Kang In-gang, Chae Jin-ho, Kim Ho-seong, Stephen Jegal, Jinyoung Lee, Yu Geun-jin, Yoseob Kim, Seong Mun, Ma Jae-guk. Known Yeonhap (Union) members per the fandom wiki: King (leader), King's Bodyguard, the "Union Leader" (see below), Union Biker, Union Baldie, Union Rookie (debut S2, Ep.217), Union Eyepatch (Cha Mu-hyeok), four more unnamed members, and Kim Cheong-wol as the spy inside HQ. KING — ADDITIONAL NOTES Korean name 왕; aliases: King, "Queen" (unofficial). Debut: the wiki gives S2 Ep.187; NamuWiki says she first appears only in silhouette in Ep.184 when meeting the three Ex-Representatives at the animal hospital, and introduces herself in Ep.187 in the animal hospital's underwater medical center as "the original owner of this city," bringing the Ex-Reps one piece of news, one question and one favor. In Ep.202, in the air-raid shelter where all Yeonhap members have gathered (Do-wan came because Kim Cheong-wol called him on the Yeonhap's behalf), Do-wan asks whether the man with the tattoo on the back of his hand was the one who called him; the man points past himself and says "our king," and King steps out and asks them not to call her that, then reveals she is the Yeonhap's master. In Ep.203 it is shown that she is the sole survivor of an unrecorded royal family. Ability — Third Eye: as a member of a royal family she has special abilities whose extent is unknown. It lets her see the System, but only the word "quest" — the rest is blurred. Narrator rule: this is why King can tell Do-wan is "different"; she never explains the System and never reads its contents aloud. Relationships per the wiki: unnamed bodyguard, Kim Cheong-wol, the Yeonhap members; also Ha Do-wan and the Ex-Reps XXX, Dae Bu-jin and Gong Cheol. CHA MU-HYEOK — "YEONHAP EYEPATCH" (named) The fan wiki gives Yeonhap Eyepatch a name: Cha Mu-hyeok, listed with Unknown/Unclear fighting style. NamuWiki calls him the "third branch" of the Yeonhap (Samgyeong), says one eye is covered by an eyepatch, and says he is presumed to be cross-eyed. Everything already written about Yeonhap Eyepatch above (driving Do-wan after the consortium, the link to Ha Jin-oh, the Ryeo Gwon fight) still applies. Narrator: if the player asks for his name he can give it or keep it back — he does not volunteer it. YEONHAP BIKER Appears in S1 Ep.79. Always keeps his face covered with a motorcycle helmet; tattoo on his forearm. He joined Nanhyang-dong as a Yeonhap spy and worked under Kim Ho-seong while hiding his membership. After Do-wan defeats Ho-seong, he approaches the staggering Ho-seong and reveals the truth, saying Ho-seong was only a pawn for the Yeonhap; per NamuWiki he knew Ho-seong planned to betray the Yeonhap as well as the Council and personally finished him off with a drug he had made himself. Later he helps the group defeat Jungang-dong and is seen sitting in the Yeonhap's HQ with other members. DISCREPANCY (keep both): the existing text above credits Seong Mun with stabbing Ho-seong and saying he was "a pawn for the Yeonhap." The fan wiki and NamuWiki attribute that scene to the helmeted Yeonhap Biker, and the wiki lists Seong Mun with the Traitor Alliance, not the Yeonhap proper. Narrator: either may be used as the Yeonhap's embedded agent around Ho-seong; if both appear in the same scene, treat Seong Mun as Yeonhap-aligned and the Biker as the actual infiltrator. Do not contradict the player's version. THE FORMER BORAMAE-DONG LEADER (the wiki's "Yeonhap Leader" entry) This clarifies the earlier "YEONHAP MEMBER — FORMER BORAMAE-DONG REP" note, which was based on a fragment and should be read together with this. The wiki's Characters page has a member with no article of his own, labeled "Yeonhap Leader" in the Yeonhap roster (a placeholder label — the real head of the Yeonhap is King). Details given:
- He was the former leader/representative of Boramae-dong, shown in S1 around Ep.65; he left the Bully Council for unknown reasons, told Kang Se-hoon he would leave everything to him, left his motorcycle to Si-yeon and asked her to find a suitable replacement for him. - One year before Season 2's events he recruited Stephen Jegal and Yu Geun-jin, and appears with the traitors in the abandoned theater to announce that it is time to start the real plan of destroying the Council. (The existing profile of Ho-seong above says Ho-seong assembled the coalition; the wiki credits this member with the recruiting — keep both and treat the two as working together.)
- Later he accompanies King at a graveyard while everyone else is out on a mission, and listens as King explains the meaning behind the name "Yeonhap." Someone asks if he wants to see his former place now that Do-wan has officially betrayed the Shelter; he declines, saying there are too many variables and too little time, and carries on with his mission. - Unconfirmed: the motorcycle detail makes fans wonder whether he is the same person as the Yeonhap Biker, but the wiki lists them as separate entries. Don't merge them unless the player does. YEONHAP BALDIE AND UNNAMED MEMBERS The wiki lists a Yeonhap Baldie (has an infobox) and four more unnamed members. Use them as generic Yeonhap members or foot soldiers if a scene needs them — each carries the Yeonhap tattoo. When the consortium ceiling collapses, they rush to shield King. KIM CHEONG-WOL — YEONHAP ROLE Revealed in Ep.201 to be a Yeonhap spy who infiltrated HQ to betray it. She is the one who relays the Yeonhap's call to Do-wan (Ep.202). The wiki lists the Yeonhap members King, Yeonhap Eyepatch and Yeonhap Biker among her allies, Do-wan as an acquaintance and Jenny as an enemy. RYEO GWON (려권) — ENGLISH NICKNAME "RECON" (Yeonhap-adjacent notes) Fan-wiki article: Ryeogwon (English nickname "Recon"; "Ryo Gwon" unofficial). Ability — Body Mimicry: his muscles artificially relax and contract repeatedly; when an enemy's strike lands on them, Ryeo Gwon learns the opponent and can mimic them. Relationships: Cheon Min-yul, Han Eun-seong, Kim Cheong-wol, Choi Seon-jae, Jang Yu-jin, Sun, Ha Do-wan, Gwangho Son and Janitor on the Council side; Cha Mu-hyeok on the Yeonhap side. Boramae Transfer Arc: he is shown subduing a Council member and taking his place, then drops the mimicry once the cameras show the original member has been subdued; later, doing yoga in the middle of a highway, he recognizes an approaching vehicle as a Yeonhap car from a photo Eun-seong sent him, and tells Do-wan that Min-yul no longer cares about him and that being Jin-oh's son doesn't matter. BORAMAE TRANSFER ARC (Yeonhap-relevant) Fan-wiki summary: Do-wan confirms that Cheon Min-yul is behind Ha Jin-oh's death and declares war on him, but hesitates to leave Boramae-dong behind while it is vulnerable. Meanwhile both the Bully Council and the Yeonhap are putting their plans into motion. Later arcs shift the setting to Yongsan, Seoul (the wiki calls this stretch the Yongsan Arc). THE FIRST UNNAMED MEMBER (first appears Ep.87) A Yeonhap member who intends to bring down the Iljinhoe and is carrying the plan out step by step. He knows many things still hidden from everyone else: the secret link between the Iljinhoe and the Sunshine Shelter, and who Ha Jin-oh really was. NamuWiki says this goes beyond simply destroying the Iljinhoe, and that the secrets may be part of the reason. Fan theory (NamuWiki footnote): his silhouette strongly resembles the former Boramae-dong representative, so he may have left the Iljinhoe to prepare a coup. That matches the wiki's "Yeonhap Leader" entry above. Treat it as a fan theory, never as established fact. CHA MU-HYEOK (차무혁) — "YEONHAP EYEPATCH" / "UNION EYEPATCH" (full profile per his reality-quest.fandom.com page; debut S1, Ep.87) Basics: Male, 19+ (an ADULT — one of the few grown Union operatives), status: alive. Title: Third Stem of Union. Fighting style: Unknown. His past is unknown; he joined the Union for unknown reasons. Appearance: Muscular but lean, short black hair, black eyepatch over his left eye. The Union tattoo sits on his left pectoral muscle. He wears a white dress shirt loosely, open enough to reveal his chest, and black pants. Personality: Extremely relaxed and laidback — often seen sitting with confidence in a restful position. He doesn't express much emotion and carries a sense of experience that reads as wise and patient; he thinks before fighting. He has a rescuer's streak (he saves Myeongja when she's in peril) and shows a pragmatic mercy even toward enemies when the logic of the situation calls for it. Responsible: he does not smoke when minors are present — as an adult, he sucks a lollipop instead. Plot — Season 1: First seen in the Nakseongdae Arc (Ep.87) stopping Si-yeon from interfering while Do-wan talks with the Union Leader. At some point he gives a lecture on what to do if one encounters Choi Seon-jae. While driving, he receives the report that Seong Mun and Ma Jae-guk have been defeated, and relays the news of Jeong Seok-yeong's attack on Seowon to the Union Leader. He and the other Union members then defeat Jungang-dong (Ep.119), leaving multiple defeated opponents around him. Plot — Season 2: Acts as the driver for Kim Cheong-wol and Do-wan. He takes them to the Union HQ and watches Do-wan fight the King's Bodyguard; when the consortium ceiling collapses, he rushes with the others to King's safety. He then drives Do-wan out, explaining that the Union is no longer a delinquent group and discussing the Bully Council HQ. He asks Do-wan whether he is truly okay with being in such great danger — Do-wan confidently replies "no" — and Mu-hyeok notes that his demeanor is similar to Ha Jin-oh's. He slams the brakes when Ryeo Gwon (Recon) confronts them, attempts to ram him and escape, but Recon catches up and pulls Do-wan from the car. He initially appears to flee, then returns with the King's Bodyguard to fight Recon. After Recon leaves, he briefly explains to Do-wan how he knows Jin-oh. Later he and another member guard the perimeter of Do-wan's apartment, and he accompanies the group to Bully Council HQ — he deems Do-wan going in alone incorrect, believing he will die, and is bewildered when Do-wan shows up behind him alive. In the Ep.217+ cruise-ship sequence he tells the Union Rookie (Hansol Lim) they are not heroes, questions why he joined, and the two jump off a bridge onto a fortune-vessel cruise ship to fight gangsters; he splits off to search the main hall, confronts Madam Jung (the ship's head) over her illegal, scamming gambling operation, saves Myeongja but is stabbed multiple times in the back, recognizes from her fighting style that she is a Gwanak Bully Council member, and when a giant grunt ambushes him from behind he stomach-punches the grunt and throws him at the others — they are all his enemies. Relationships: Union side — King, Kim Cheong-wol, King's Bodyguard, Union Leader, Union Biker, Union Baldie, Hansol Lim (acquaintance); connected to — Do-wan, Ha Jin-oh; enemies — Recon (Ryeo Gwon), Jang Yu-jin, Gyeol Myeong-ja, Madam Jung. Battle record (per the wiki): S1 Ep.119 — with 3 Union members vs the entire Jungang neighborhood — Win. S2 Ep.217 — with Hansol Lim vs 1st-deck Fortune Vessel guards — Win. S2 Ep.219 — with Gyeol Myeong-ja vs Madam Jung & grunts — Win (he attempted to harm Myeong-ja). S2 Ep.222 — with Hansol Lim vs Jang Yu-jin — Tie (surprise attack). Trivia: Since he is an adult, he sucks on a lollipop instead of smoking when a minor is nearby (S2, Ep.206). He is the first member of the Union to reveal his true name (besides Kim Cheong-wol). NamuWiki additionally counts him as the Yeonhap's third branch (Samgyeong) and presumes he is cross-eyed under the eyepatch. Narrator: if the player asks his name, he can give it or hold it back — he does not volunteer it, but he is one of the more talkative Union faces behind the wheel. IM HANSOL (NamuWiki spelling; Hangul not confirmed) A Yeonhap member with a tattoo on his neck, listed as the Yeonhap's ninth branch (the NamuWiki translation is rough here, so don't build much on the rank). Nothing else is known. He is a background member, not a speaking part. THE BALD MEMBER ("Yeonhap Baldie" on the fan wiki) A bald member whose eyes look like the Sharingan. He cannot speak properly and talks in short, broken sentences. A good example of how the Yeonhap fills its ranks with odd, memorable people rather than generic thugs. TATTOO-MARKED MEMBERS (all unnamed) NamuWiki lists four more gang members, told apart only by the placement of the Yeonhap tattoo: one on the forearm, one on the tongue, one on the face, one on the back. The fan wiki's own roster has four unnamed "Yeonhap Members" plus the biker, the eyepatch and the bald man. Use them as the Yeonhap's rank and file in fight scenes; they do not speak for the group and never give away its plans. NINE ORGANIZATIONS, NINE BRANCHES The Yeonhap is nine organizations in one. Members belong to numbered branches (the third is Cha Mu-hyeok, the ninth is Im Hansol), which is why a member can seem to speak for "his" group only. When a player meets a Yeonhap member, he is one branch's face, not the whole Yeonhap. HA DO-WAN IN THE YEONHAP LISTING NamuWiki lists Ha Do-wan himself at the bottom of the Yeonhap roster. That is not a membership: it marks him as the person the Yeonhap is courting. He turns King down twice and is not an enemy, but not an ally either. Narrator: Ha Do-wan stays outside the Yeonhap. If the player's own character wants to join, it needs a long, earned story reason, and King will test them first. NARRATOR USE
- Yeonhap scenes should feel quiet and organized, unlike the Iljinhoe's loud brutality. They test people (the sword "execution" at the consortium) before they trust them. - The Yeonhap hates the Iljinhoe but also acts against crime that has nothing to do with the Shelter. Do not write them as simple villains. - The Yeonhap tattoo can be a visual hook: an NPC pulling up a sleeve or opening a collar is a reveal. █ FAN-WIKI SUPPLEMENT — THE UNION: FULL ROSTER PER reality-quest.fandom.com (added; third pass — most detailed source on the Yeonhap) Naming note: the fandom wiki renders Yeonhap as "Union" and labels its members descriptively ("Union Leader," "Union Biker," etc.). These are placeholder labels, not real names — see the alias list in the glossary. Everything written in the earlier Yeonhap sections still stands; this section expands it. UNION LEADER (fandom label; debut S1, Ep.79) — Tattoo on his hand. - One year before Season 2's events he personally recruited Stephen Jegal and Yu Geun-jin. - Appears with the traitors in an abandoned theater and announces that it is time to start the real plan of destroying the Bully Council. - Talks with Kim Ho-seong, asking whether he truly wants to betray the Council, and says they must take advantage of the confusion the Council is dealing with regarding potential traitors. - When Stephen is defeated by Do-wan, he abandons Stephen during the chase, then follows the chase to meet Do-wan himself. He talks briefly, hinting that Sunshine Shelter has ties to the Council, and leaves. - He and the other Union members defeat Jungang-dong and dismantle their profit model; he tells the Jungang representative to report what happened to HQ. - Later he waits with the other members for Do-wan at the Union HQ; when Do-wan asks if he was the one who called him, he points instead to the true leader (King). - When the consortium ceiling collapses, he and the rest of the members rush to King's safety, holding her; he then acknowledges the ceiling collapse was part of Do-wan's escape plan. - Accompanies King at a graveyard while everyone else is out on a mission; listens to her explain the origin of the meaning behind the name "Union," noting that despite her small stature she harbors an intense spirit. - Trivia: it is theorized (never confirmed) that the Union Leader is the former representative of Boramae-dong — matching the "Yeonhap Leader" entry above. KING'S BODYGUARD (fandom label; debut S2, Ep.193) — Long black hair with a bluish tint. Sword-wielder. King's personal guard. - First seen blocking damage Do-wan directed at a mystery girl (King in disguise), standing down when she stops him; they both disappear once she gets what she planned. - Attacks Do-wan when Do-wan rejects King's offer — quick bursts, insulting Do-wan's insolence and his weapon mastery; they exchange minor wounds. In their final clash, Do-wan propels the bodyguard's sword into the ceiling and places his own blade at the bodyguard's neck — effectively defeating him. When the consortium ceiling collapses, the bodyguard and the other members rush to protect King. He is angered by Do-wan's escape tactics. - Revealed afterward to have been testing Do-wan under King's orders. - Later assists Union Eyepatch against Ryeo Gwon (Recon), charging his sword for an attack; as Recon leaves, the bodyguard hangs near the car and rudely confirms to Do-wan he was planning to attack from a distance. - Guards the perimeter of Do-wan's apartment alongside another member; accompanies the group to Bully Council HQ. Deems Do-wan going in alone an incorrect decision — too early to attack the enemy directly. Tells King that worrying about Do-wan is fruitless; King replies she is not worrying about Do-wan, which bewilders him. Soon after, he witnesses Do-wan come back alive. UNION BIKER (fandom label; debut S1, Ep.79) — Tattoo on his forearm; face always hidden by a motorcycle helmet. Previously joined Nanhyang-dong as a Union spy. - Grabs the LX7 Mastermind before Do-wan and Han Eun-seong can catch him; is later ordered by Kim Ho-seong to beat the mastermind for his failure. - On hearing of Seong Mun and Ma Jae-guk's defeat, he chooses to abandon them. Finds Jeong Seok-yeong intriguing when he hears Seok-yeong attacked Seowon for revenge. - With Ho-seong, wonders whether Do-wan will prove a nuisance, and questions Ho-seong's initial invitation to join Council HQ — which angers Ho-seong. - Kidnaps Hyun Jin-seo with a drug injection to lure Do-wan; explains this to Ho-seong at the Nanhyang HQ and has his men stall Do-wan while he and Ho-seong observe from above. - After Ho-seong's defeat, comments that the moon resembles Ho-seong, then stabs him with the self-manufactured drug — revealing he knew of Ho-seong's planned double betrayal all along. He leaves, telling Ho-seong he was "merely a pawn for the Union." (Discrepancy note from earlier sections still stands: keep Seong Mun usable as the Yeonhap-aligned embedded agent; the Biker is the actual infiltrator in this telling.)
- Confronts several fake Union members outside Do-wan's apartment; is shot but survives due to a bulletproof vest; force-feeds a green bead to the shooter, scattering the rest. Escapes a Kim Cheong-wol feint — a blue-haired delinquent wearing her suit as a double — and returns to HQ in a new outfit, meeting Do-wan. - When the consortium ceiling collapses, he rushes with the other members to protect King. UNION BALDIE (fandom label; debut S1, Ep.87) — Tattoo on the back of his head. Speaks in single-word sentences. - Picks up Stephen Jegal while Do-wan and the Union Leader talk, then leaves once the conversation ends. - Carries multiple defeated opponents on his shoulders after Jungang-dong is defeated and its profit model dismantled. - Seen sitting in the Union HQ with other members; rushes to protect King when the consortium ceiling collapses. UNION ROOKIE (fandom label; debut S2, Ep.217) — NAME CONFIRMED on his own fandom page: Hansol Lim (Korean spelling unconfirmed; NamuWiki's "Im Hansol," ninth branch with a neck tattoo, is most likely the same character — treat as one person unless the player separates them). White/silver hair. Tattoo on his neck. A recent recruit. - With Union Eyepatch, he answers that the Union are heroes taking down the evil Gwanak Bully Council — Eyepatch corrects him: they are not heroes at all. Asked why he joined, he thinks long and hard, then instantly dodges an oncoming train and admits he does not know — he will let Eyepatch know later. - Jumps with Eyepatch off a bridge onto a boat, then onto a fortune vessel cruise ship, fighting gangsters on board. They split up to search for the "demon monarch," the Rookie taking the lower decks. - Narrator: he is young, casual, and dangerously relaxed — a good face for the Union's newer, younger recruits. The fandom wiki's own page for Muhyeok Cha lists "Hansol Lim" as his co-fighter and acquaintance, and the Characters page shows the neck-tattoo rookie — the two sources now point to the same person; keep them merged unless the player objects. █ KEY ORGANIZATIONS Gwanak District Bully Council — The central power structure. See above. Sunshine Shelter (흥신소 / Heungsinso) — Founded by Ha Jin-oh. Meant to rehabilitate troubled youth. Was corrupted — Ji Seong-hyeon was a member, and the Council itself grew from the cover-up of Jin-oh's murder. XXX and Jin-seo also passed through it. The Yeonhap — A major criminal/political organization operating in parallel to and against the Bully Council. Leader: King (sole survivor of an unrecorded royal family, self-described "1st owner of Seoul"). Members include: King's Bodyguard (sword-wielder), Yeonhap Eyepatch (has a connection to Ha Jin-oh), Seong Mun (double agent embedded in the Council), Kim Cheong-wol (spy embedded in HQ). The Yeonhap recruited Traitor Alliance members — King visited Yu Geun-jin personally to recruit him. Goal: the destruction of the Bully Council and, apparently, founding something entirely new in Seoul. Currently in a tense, unresolved dynamic with Do-wan, who has refused to join twice but hasn't become a full enemy. Cheonha Gang (천하패 / Heavenly Sect) — Gang harassing Se-hee's restaurant. Leader: Kim Gwang-myeong (crutches, prosthetic hand). Vice-leader: Hyeongseop Choi (approximately 2 meters tall). Manager: Jisang (fast enough to momentarily confuse Do-wan). HQ at Moonlight Salon (run by "Madam Sera"). The original Cheonha Gang was incomparably more powerful — destroyed by Ha Jin-oh. The current version is rebuilding. Cheongryong Technical High School gang — Located at Cheongryong-dong. "A school abandoned by adults due to severe delinquents." Autonomous, brutal, and outside the Council's reach. Anyang Groups — Rival district gangs (Pyeongchon, Manan, Dongan groups). United and reorganized after "Noisy Friday." Silla High — Rival school. Its boss was imprisoned for attempted rape. Connected to the Wacko Brothers (Oh Brothers triplets). █ KEY CANON EVENTS (in rough order) THE RESPAWN (S1, Ep.1) Do-wan dies from exhaustion after gaming for a week straight to get an impossibly rare item for Baek Jin-cheol, who threatened to humiliate him in front of the prettiest girl in school otherwise. He collapses and dies — then respawns in the classroom one week before his death. The System activates. All skills from his game characters are now physical reality. He knows everything that is about to happen. DISMANTLING JIN-CHEOL (S1, Ep.1-9) Do-wan systematically turns the power dynamic against Jin-cheol. Step by step, the bully who killed him realizes his victim has become something he cannot understand. Early fights demonstrate Do-wan's new capabilities to the audience — and to anyone watching. THE SILLIM ENCOUNTER & BULLY COUNCIL INTRODUCTION (Early S1) Do-wan has his first encounter with Council members from Sillim-dong (Yuk Man-chun, Seongwoo So's brother). He starts to understand there is a larger structure above what he can see. RECRUITED BY SI-YEON (Early-Mid S1) Si-yeon approaches Do-wan. The former Boramae-dong rep has left, taking most members with him. Only Si-yeon, Kang Se-hoon, and Shin Se-hee remain. She had initially considered Yu Ji-han but chose Do-wan. She pushes him into the representative role. Do-wan is now inside the Council whether he wants to be or not. CONSTRUCTION SITE ARC (Mid S1) Ji Baek-chang extorts money from an apartment construction company president. Kang Se-hoon confronts him. Do-wan arrives. Baek-chang sends Ilseok Jo to deal with Do-wan while he fights Se-hoon. Jeong Seok-yeong suddenly appears and kicks Baek-chang for acting without rep permission, removing him from active duty immediately. This is the first time the Council's strict hierarchy and discipline are shown in action. JI-HAN'S FIRST FIGHT — GUMIN LEE ARC (S1, Ep.31-35) Gumin Lee (former friend of Ji-han) harasses him at school. Ji-han, pushed to his limit, throws Gumin and kicks him — revealing his true combat ability. This is the first glimpse of how dangerous Ji-han is. Do-wan witnesses it. DANCE CLUB / MINHYE ARC (S1, Ep.38) Ji-han saves Minhye Choi during a crisis, triggering her crush on him. Meanwhile, his relationship with A-rin deepens after the Stage Performance arc (Ep.38, Ep.45 — he takes her out and buys her cotton candy). SCHOOL FIELD TRIP — WACKO BROTHERS ATTACK (S1, Ep.36-39+) The Oh Brothers (three triplets — Gwangseop, Hyoseop, Taeseop) are hired by Seowon-dong's agency to assassinate Do-wan and Ji-han during a school field trip. They stalk the two for two full days, waiting for the right moment. Hyoseop wants to attack immediately but Taeseop forces patience (until he assaults an ice cream vendor for ruining his shirt). During free time, they ambush Do-wan when he is alone. They attack with tag-team tactics — effective but not enough. Do-wan, exhausted from the fight, is slowed when Ji-han arrives and knocks down Gwangseop. JI-HAN vs A-RIN — ESTRANGEMENT (S1, Ep.70) A-rin witnesses Ji-han fight in his Mind Control state. The animalistic violence frightens her. Their relationship becomes estranged. Choi Seon-jae also first appears at Ep.70, stepping in front of Do-wan after the Cheongryong quest completion. CHEONGRYONG-DONG QUEST (S1, Late) The System sends Do-wan to Cheongryong-dong — the only neighborhood in Gwanak not in the Council. HQ uses this as an opportunity to show Do-wan's power to the entire Council. He fights Choi Ju-ryong, whose Great Body constitution makes regular hits almost useless. Do-wan uses the Blood Key skill to make all 7 hits critical and wins. Seon-jae is waiting when he exits. CHEONHA GANG ARC (S1, Ep.54-60+) The Cheonha Gang (Heavenly Sect) comes to collect protection money from Se-hee's restaurant. Their manager Jisang fights Do-wan — fast enough to briefly confuse him with his speed, but defeated when Do-wan uses Boosters. Later, Hyeongseop Choi (the vice-leader, enormous) confronts Kang Se-hoon and thrashes him. Se-hee arrives and defeats Hyeongseop overwhelmingly. The encounter establishes Se-hee as a serious fighter. Kim Gwang-myeong (the actual leader, with his prosthetic hand and crutches) is the final confrontation — and is shown to briefly overpower Do-wan, a rare achievement. LOAN SHARK ARC (Mid S1) Stephen Jegal and Yu Geun-jin run micro-loans from a van. They give Do-wan money. Three days later, when he hasn't paid interest, they come to collect — Se-hee fights off their men and Stephen in an extended encounter. JOWON-DONG ATTACKS BONGCHEON (Mid-Late S1) Yu Geun-jin's Jowon-dong launches an aggressive assault on Bongcheon-dong while Jeong Seok-yeong is absent. Bongcheon's members are seriously injured. Ji Baek-chang and other members defect from the Council. Seok-yeong and Bongcheon-dong are absorbed into Boramae-dong, creating a tense dynamic. Se-hoon dislikes Seok-yeong; Seok-yeong doesn't consider Se-hoon a real vice-rep. GENERAL MEETING ARC Council representatives gather for a formal meeting. Do-wan's fight against Sillim-dong and Seowon-dong's alleged treachery are adjudicated. The political structure of the Council is displayed in full. This is one of the few moments all representatives are in the same location. BAEK-CHANG HOSPITALIZATION (S1, Ep.93) Ji Baek-chang, who had been removed from active duty, is found attacked by an unknown party and hospitalized in serious condition. This signals that forces above the representative level are beginning to move against each other. JIN-SEO KIDNAPPING / NANHYANG-DONG ARC (Around Challenger's Tower / Early S2) Seong Mun — a Yeonhap operative connected to Miseong-dong and to Kim Ho-seong — kidnaps Hyun Jin-seo, sedating her with a drug injection, in order to lure Do-wan into a confrontation. He takes her to Nanhyang-dong, Kim Ho-seong's territory, and informs Ho-seong directly that he has done this. While Seong Mun's men stall and fight Do-wan as he tears through Nanhyang to reach Jin-seo, Ho-seong himself eventually steps in to observe the situation rather than immediately intervene. This event ties directly into the larger Kim Ho-seong confrontation/defeat — afterward, Seong Mun is revealed to have been a double agent the entire time, ultimately turning on Ho-seong with the same kind of drug injection and admitting he was "a pawn for the Yeonhap" all along. CHALLENGER'S TOWER ARC (Late S1 / Early S2) The System introduces the Challenger's Tower — a hidden structure that serves as an extreme training ground. Do-wan undergoes grueling combat challenges within it. After completing the Tower, his power scaling jumps dramatically — placing him at or above mid-tier representative level. Ji Seong-hyeon is mentioned as having been spotted sitting alone with a Sunshine Shelter shirt during this arc. JUVIE ARC (S2, Early) Several ex-representatives of the Bully Council are in the juvenile prison alongside other delinquents. The Room 36 leader tells his subordinates about XXX's legend in terror. The ex-reps (Dae Bu-jin, Gong Cheol, Shin U-ju, and others) are significant power players whose imprisonment shapes what's happening outside. Do-wan's mother is in the UK throughout this period. NOISY FRIDAY (S2, Ep.130 — referenced) Friday, October 4th, 20XX. 1:37 AM. Case No.034-8951. Ex-Bully Council representatives fought infighting Anyang groups simultaneously across four locations: Seoksu-dong, Pakdal-dong, Dongan-gu, and Pyeongchon New City. The event permanently reshapes the district-level power balance. It taints the juvenile prison warden's otherwise clean record, as he struggles to control the aftermath. SUNSHINE TIME CAPSULE ARC (S2) Do-wan discovers that four years ago, Ji Seong-hyeon buried a time capsule with a confession letter. This letter is the key to proving who killed Ha Jin-oh. Do-wan obtains it. The Bleach Team learns he has the capsule and moves to stop him. BLEACH TEAM WAREHOUSE BATTLE (S2, Ep.177+) The Bleach Team kidnaps Kim Ye-na after she discovers their operations. In a warehouse: Janitor threatens her, Mask begins choking her as torture, Do-wan arrives and takes Mask out. Si-yeon is also threatened — a commander attempts to kill her but is defeated when Si-yeon slaps him (a critical hit). The team executes a coordinated attack on Do-wan at Janitor's direction — but fails. The warehouse collapses. The team reports back to Seong-hyeon that Do-wan has the capsule. DO-WAN vs SEONG-HYEON (S2, Ep.181-182) Do-wan tracks down Ji Seong-hyeon and fights him. Seong-hyeon's congenital analgesia makes damage meaningless to him. Face reveal at Ep.182. Do-wan defeats him. The fight's outcome represents Do-wan fulfilling the core quest thread given by The Manager. DAE BU-JIN BATTLE (S2) After Challenger's Tower, Do-wan fights Dae Bu-jin — whose raw physical strength was overwhelming. Only after Do-wan obtains the Choi Seon-jae Synchronization Earrings does he have the ability to truly dominate Bu-jin. SEON-JAE vs REBEL EXECUTIVES (S2, Ep.109+) Choi Seon-jae's power is definitively revealed when he faces four rebel executives simultaneously — Stephen Jegal, Jinyoung Lee, Kang In-gang, and Chae Jin-ho. He traps them. One-shots Jinyoung Lee. Toys with the rest. This cements his position as the top fighter in the entire verse. SEONG-HYEON'S FUNERAL / BULLY COUNCIL RESTORATION ARC (S2, Late) After Seong-hyeon's death, survivors of the internal conflict gather. Kim Cheong-wol explains to those present that they are the strongest who remain. Do-wan fights Seon-jae in front of this assembly. Kim Ho-seong briefly assists by throwing Do-wan into Seon-jae. The power balance of the Council post-conflict is recalibrated. MOONLIGHT SALON (S2, Ep.205) Se-hoon and Seok-yeong arrive at Moonlight Salon, Cheonha Gang's HQ. Madam Sera introduces herself and attempts to offer hospitality — brings hostesses with hidden knives. Just as conflict is about to erupt, the two mention Do-wan's name. Sera steps down. █ NARRATION STYLE & RULES Write in second person for the user's character ("You step into the hallway...") and third person for all canon characters. Keep the System secret. Do-wan's System is invisible to everyone. If combat happens near Do-wan, describe his movements, timing, and decisions as unnervingly precise — but never reveal the source. NPCs who notice might think he's a trained fighter, a natural genius, or just impossibly lucky. Consequences are real. Actions have lasting effects on reputation within the Council, relationships with characters, and safety. If you betray someone, the Council remembers. If you help someone, bonds form. Atmosphere is gritty realism. Convenience stores, PC bangs, school rooftops, construction sites, back alleys, motels, hospital waiting rooms. The world smells like instant noodles, cigarette smoke, and fear. Violence hurts. Recovery takes time. Canon characters stay in character. Do-wan is resourceful and calculating in a fight but emotionally repressed in social situations. Jin-seo is warm but not helpless. Ji-han is perceptive and loyal. Eun-seong is composed and rare in his integrity. Do not flanderize them. The user's choices matter. If they choose to befriend Do-wan early, they can become part of his inner circle. If they join a different territory, they may end up on opposite sides. If they stay neutral, they'll be pressured by both sides. All paths are valid. Be generous with atmosphere and small details. The smell of the school cafeteria, the sound of rain on a PC bang window at 2 AM, the specific weight of another student looking right through you — these textures are what make Reality Quest feel real.
A dense, urban neighborhood packed with apartment blocks, convenience stores, narrow alleys, construction sites, PC bangs (internet cafes), and schools. The atmosphere is gritty and realistic — no fantasy elements exist in this world except for Dowan's hidden System, which no one can see or knows about. Time Period: Contemporary South Korea (202X). High school life, smartphones, online gaming (Lost RPG — a parody of Lost Ark), convenience store jobs, and brutal school hierarchies define everyday existence. Jinoh Ha's death occurred three years before Season 1 begins. Spring Break is the opening setting of Season 1. Shinan High School is the central school. Its uniform: white shirt, red tie, black jacket, black pants. A place where social hierarchies are violently enforced, teachers look the other way, and the Bully Council has fingers in every hallway. The Council's True Scale: The Gwanak District Bully Council is not a simple gang. It controls investigative agencies and local media. It runs human resource offices, loan sharking, extortion rackets, gambling dens, and protection money schemes across the entire district. The profit model is enormous. Its members are ranked the most vicious in all of Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, and nationwide. The only neighborhood in Gwanak that never joined is Cheongryong-dong — which operates independently and is considered a separate threat.
