Ramuda comes off as a cheery, upbeat, and cute, yet boyish man, and a total playboy. In reality, Ramuda is more cold and calculative, often displaying more negative emotions and deeper thoughts than he lets on. He cares deeply for his friends, but not much about anyone else or their feelings. Because of this, he is usually uncaring about what others think of him, which can mean that he often says or does things that upset others. Overall, he is a troubled man who has issues with expressing his true feelings, and often ends up putting himself and his friends in harms way because of it.

Doppo is a meek, anxious, and pessimistic man. He makes a point not to stand out too much, always wary of what others may think of him. He tries to be as polite and careful as he can, but always seems to attract trouble and misfortune. He can be short-fused and quick to anger at times, though is a lot better at outwardly keeping his cool in a professional setting. He cares deeply about the people close to him and is very protective of them.

Doppo is dedicated to his job to a fault, often overworking himself even when not asked to. He's quick to spiral and blame himself when things go wrong, even if it's nonsensical. Although he has a hard time standing up for himself, he won't hesitate to stick up for his friends.

Samatoki is a laid-back vigilante with a short fuse who cares deeply for the people around him. He values family above all else, and will do anything to protect the citizens of Yokohama. He speaks impolitely and demands respect from others, and is rather tone deaf. He can be defensive and stubborn at times, but is willing to admit when he is in the wrong after he's calmed down.

Ichiro is friendly, responsible, and passionate. He tends to try and carry more than he can to care for those he loves, especially his brothers Jiro and Saburo, whom he is very protective of. He also has a tendency to hold grudges and refuse to move on from the past, such as in his ongoing (and now one-sided) quarrel with Samatoki Aohitsugi.

Ichiro strives to help others, and does so in many ways. He values his community and makes a point to maintain their morale in times of need. Although his insistence on protecting others and standing up for what he believes in causes him increasing amounts of stress, he stays steadfast in his goals to protect and improve his community, and (as he hopes) his country.

Jakurai is a kind, stoic, and reserved man of great knowledge. Although he tends to be low in empathy, he does try to understand others the best that he can, despite failing many times. He’s a good hearted man at his core, but rather lacking in social skills, often leaving a bad impression on those he was once close with. To most outsiders, Jakurai appears saintly and virtuous, and overall, he’s a kind, if emotionally distant, man. When Jakurai drinks any amount of alcohol, he becomes completely informal, ill-mannered, and violent.

Jakurai tends to speak in an overly formal manner, even to his friends. He tries to come off as humble and kind, but often ends up coming off as being overly self-righteous. He has a hard time being vulnerable with others, but over time is learning to open up more.

Jakurai is self-sacrificing to a fault. His driving motivation is to serve humanity, hoping to atone for his past actions and relieve himself of his constant feeling of guilt. He has strong morals and beliefs about the world that usually clash with what others want of him, often leading to major conflicts.

Jiro is sociable, easy going, and passionate. He is somewhat hot-headed, especially whenever someone insults or wrongs his brothers. He can be simple at times, but is very emotionally intelligent.

Jiro started his journey admiring his older brother Ichiro to such a point that he never thought about himself, basing his personality and sense of self off of how Ichiro was. Eventually, he came to the realization that he needs to live for himself, and not just someone else. Ever since, he has been working toward discovering who he is and what he wants in life.

Saburo is a mature, confident, and skilled 14-year old prodigy. He has no trouble speaking his mind freely and often has looked down on his peers because he considers them to be inferior to him. Due to this, he has trouble making friends and is seen as unapproachable to his classmates. Despite Saburo's many accomplishments (such excelling in school, being great at rapping, and being proficient in computer skills) he can be surprisingly insecure behind the confident persona he displays and has a tendency to spiral due to overthinking.

Saburo pushes himself to grow up and act like how he believes a responsible adult would be. He looks up to his brothers Ichiro and Jiro (though he keeps this a secret due to the way he treats him) and is ashamed of the days where he would rely on his brothers to protect him from danger. He hopes to become someone they can rely on someday.

Jyuto is a determined and stern man who is very adamant about his beliefs. He is manipulative and ruthless, unafraid to use his power to blackmail and punish people, all according to his own moral compass. He uses professional, somewhat condescending speech and demands respect from others. He has a short temper and can be irrational at times, but can occasionally act as a voice of reason in the right situation. At his core, he is a kind-hearted man who cares deeply for those close to him, doing anything to protect them.

Rio is loyal, determined, and straightforward. He is always ready and willing to lend a hand for his teammates and assist them in any way he can, showing true selflessness in most situations. He can be intimidating and ruthless to someone who he considers to be an opponent, but has over time become more averse to using violence. In his off time, Rio is kind, blunt, and somewhat calm, though always on-guard. Despite his relatively poor social skills, Rio is friendly and has a deep respect for the people around him.

Not much is known about Gentaro's true behavior and personality, as he masks it by pretending to be someone else. On the outside, he comes off as snarky, quirky, and snide. He lies constantly, both to tease and conceal. Although acts smooth, he is shown to be rather awkward, preferring to keep to himself and observe. Behind the mask, he is very loyal to his friends and loved ones, willing to put himself at risk to protect them.

Hifumi is an energetic, flirtatious, and confident man. He can be tone deaf and rude at times, often being blunt and somewhat mean with his word choice, but he is generally a kind-hearted man who wants the best for those around him. Outside of his suit jacket, Hifumi is bubbly and frivolous, and will throw formalities out the window. When wearing his suit jacket, he is princely and flamboyant, becoming the epitome of a perfect host.

Hifumi typically speaks in a very informal way, using mostly slang and a casual tone. He uses nicknames for pretty much everyone, regardless of how close they are. In host mode, Hifumi speaks more humble and semi-formal, using a more polite way of referring to others, including those he's close with.

Hifumi has a deep-rooted fear of women, which he is only able to overcome by putting on a suit jacket. He wants desperately to get better and no longer live with this fear, and is working hard to overcome his past trauma and understand it better. Hifumi has a passion for helping others, especially his clients, and has a tendency to be kind to a fault, especially to those who have wronged him.

Rosho is a kind, gullible, and blunt man who tries his best to stick up for people following their dreams. Though his stage fright tends to get in the way of a lot of things, he still works hard to help and inspire others. He’s very friendly, though not very social.

Sasara presents himself as eccentric, approachable, and personable. He cracks jokes whenever he gets the chance, and has an especially bad habit of joking in high-stress situations, and tries to avoid confrontation and conflict as much as possible. He is charismatic, clever, and socially smart, able to read others and tell their intentions with ease. In reality, Sasara is cynical, distrustful, and emotionally distant, often having a hard time connecting with people because of it.

Rei tries to present himself as funny, charming, easy-going, and gullible, but always seems to have a sinister air about him. He talks in a sleazy, informal, and somewhat uncomfortable manner. In reality, he is paranoid and calculative, ensuring that everything goes according to his greater plans, acting as if he were a god. Despite his many flaws, he cares deeply for his team mates and wife, even if he is sometimes blinded by his own goals and judgement.

Jyushi is sensitive, passionate, and headstrong. He cries whenever he is put under pressure, but works hard to improve his mental state and move past that. As a visual kei performer, he has a stage persona that he uses to express himself in and outside of performances. While using his persona, he speaks in a very grandiose manner, deepening his voice for dramatics but his usual manner of speaking is kind and respectful.

Jyushi's journey has been focused on self-improvement and discovery. He tries his best to be strong, training with his teammate Kuko to overcome his tumultuous emotions caused by past bullying.

Kuko is outspoken, harsh, and caring. He has a strong sense of ideals that he protects as fiercely as his chosen family. While he takes his monk training and leadership of Bad Ass Temple very seriously, he mostly does so with a playful attitude. He has moments where he gets serious, including when he sees injustices like bullying.

Kuko, throughout his life, has had the desire to become a good leader. At first, it was to one-up his father, but after the formation of Bad Ass Temple, his motivations became centered around his team. He wants to be strong and reliable, both for them and for his community. From when his story began to now, his journey has led him to improve and become a more level-headed person, capable of handling conflict in more productive ways.

Hitoya has a rather stern personality, with a tendency to nitpick the little things that people do/say, using the phrase “there are two things I hate” to start off his rambles into complaints. Nonetheless, he’s very confident, and unafraid to stand up against anything or anyone, especially when doing so for the vulnerable. He’s a kind-hearted but strong-willed man, who’s not afraid to be loud when he needs to be.

Ichijiku is a stern woman when it comes to upholding Otome Tohoten’s ideals, even if it goes against her own judgement. She can come off as scary and ruthless due to this, when in reality— she’s a very well-meaning and kind woman, who’s just a bit misguided.

Otome is a gentle yet calculative woman who has been corrupted by her own goals, and has an iron grip of command on those around her. She’s cold hearted, but not entirely emotionless, as she’s kind to women, yet forbidding towards men. She will do anything to push her ideals.

Nemu is a kind, friendly, yet somewhat reserved young woman with a positive outlook on the world, believing that even at the darkest times, things will always turn for the better. She is stern, has a strong spirit, and and believes strongly in her duty to help others and do what's right.

Ramuda has a violet pink to lavender ombre short a line bob with candy pink strands and the front tufts left uncut. He has deep aqua eyes, with a dusty orange highlight at the top. He is the shortest character in the main cast. He also has lighter color eyelashes than anyone else in the cast, pinkish-grey rather than black. Ramuda wears a white dress shirt and red ribbon tie with a silver Fling Posse star medal. He wears a long teal hoodie, a pair of black leather three-quarter pants and black-and-red boots with black laces. He also wears a black-and-pink belt set with three silver rings attached to each side of the belt itself and a heart buckle on the end. All his clothing is oversized, like much of Shibuya fashion.

Doppo has a messy short-back rust-red wolf cut, that not only has cyan undersides, and crossed overgrown bangs, but a slight wavy texture to it. He has grey teal slightly droopy straight eyes with heavy dark circles. Doppo wears a baggy midnight blue blazer with an off-white pinstripe shirt, nut brown belt with a silver buckle, baggy midnight blue dress pants, and black dress loafers. He also wears a teal green tie with jasmine yellow fence net patterns, and an amaranth red lanyard with an I.D card hooked to it, presumably showing his face and credentials[3], and a tie clip with chains holding onto a silver pendant of the Matenro Symbol.

Samatoki has chin length, shaggy white hair and red eyes with long lashes. He also has multiple piercings: black huggie earrings on both lobes, a black stud on his right upper lobe, an upper helix, a black industrial on his right ear, and two helixes on his left. Samatoki wears a white, short-sleeved button-up shirt with black signature skull prints on the chest, prussian blue jeans, and black combat boots. He also has a cord necklace with a triangle-shaped charm, a bronze bangle bracelet, and the black-and-white beaded bracelet that was handmade by Nemu[3] from their mother’s broken necklace on his right wrist.

Ichiro has chin length shaggy black hair with bangs that frame his face and reach past his eyes. He has complete heterochromia, with his left eye being scarlet red, and his right being forest green. He has a mole under his left eye. He wears a white hoodie with two silver quarter zippers — one on the top and bottom. On top, he wears a scarlet red varsity jacket with sapphire blue sleeves and bottom hem, and a red badge labeled "B" pinned to the hood. Printed on the jacket is "01" on the right breast, and "BB" on the left. Underneath the "01" is his character quote: “You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down." On bottom, he wears baggy dark blue jeans with a black belt, and high-top black sneakers with scarlet red stripes on the side. The soles of his shoes are labeled with "Buster Bros." He wears rings on both of his middle fingers and his thumb; the ring on his right middle finger being engraved with the letter I. Around his neck, he wears red over-ear headphones with a wire that extends to his left jacket pocket

Jakurai has very long, grey-purple hair with a lavender underside, blue eyes and he is the tallest character in the series. Jakurai wears a black turtleneck with a pattern that has the Matenrou symbol and 3/4 sleeves, dark blue pants and black shoes. He is often seen wearing white lab coat with a blue lining.

Jiro has a neck-length black shag mullet with curtain bangs and complete heterochromia; his left eye is forest green, whilst his right eye is gold. He has a mole under his left eye and under the left side of his mouth. Jiro wears a black t-shirt with two yellow quarter zippers — one on the top and bottom. On top, he wears a medium sapphire blue-and-white bomber jacket that has two white-and-black patches with an eagle labeled ‘Buster Bros’ on the breasts. He also wears medium grey jeans with three rips on the right leg, and black platform sneakers with a white sole and blue laces arranged in a square. He wears rings on his right index and ring fingers on both hands and on his left thumb. He also wears a red badge pin labeled “B” and a smaller blue badge labeled “M” on a navy blue-and-white plaid shirt tied around his waist, and a red-and-navy blue flat-brim snapback hat, which has a sticker on the underside of the brim.

Saburo has chin length black hair with long bangs that frame his face and reach past his eyes. He has complete heterochromia; his left eye is royal blue, whilst his right eye is forest green. He has two moles under his left eye and under the left side of his mouth. He wears a corn yellow hoodie with two silver quarter zippers — one on the top and bottom over a warm gray shirt. He also wears a navy blue school uniform jacket with matching slacks, and a braided red cord (presumably from Ichiro’s TDD outfit) that is attached to a black belt. On his feet, he has light gray and white high-top sneakers. He also wears a red badge labeled “B”, a small blue badge labeled “M”, and a smaller yellow badge labeled “L.” on the left breast of his jacket. He also wears a black choker.

Jyuto has partially slicked back ash brown hair and jade green eyes with a fuchsia highlight on top. He also wears thin-frame rectangular glasses. Jyuto wears a black suit jacket with red inner lining with matching slacks. Below that, he wears a medium grey dress shirt with triangle-shaped collar pins connected by a chain, a black tie with a golden tie clip that has the same triangle charm. He also wears maroon shoes, red gloves, a black belt, and a black and gold watch on his right hand.

Rio has short orange hair with an undercut and light blue eyes with a yellow highlight on top. He has a stud helix piercing on his right ear. Rio wears a gray Mk.1 Camouflage Uniform with a fang camouflage pattern. His uniform top is slightly undone at the top, revealing a red tank top underneath. He has a black belt around his waist, and three triangular buttons/pins resembling the MAD TRIGGER CREW symbol on either breast pocket of his uniform. His pants are tucked into army combat boots, which have red laces that are wrapped around the top of the boot instead of tied into a bow. He also wears a plain red bandana around his right thigh, black semi-fingerless gloves, and a silver military dog tag necklace. Strapped to his back looks most similar to a red-and-black M16 assault rifle.[3]

Gentaro has layered neck-length pale brown hair with long bangs. His eyes are emerald green with a lavender highlight on top. He wears a white kosode with a black button-up turtleneck underneath and a black capelet on top. The capelet has a patterned amethyst purple underside, and on the lapels has a chain connecting either side. The right side of this chain has the Fling Posse logo on it. On bottom, he wears a steel gray hakama with a black obi, that has a dusty yellow cord that appears to be tied in a Ume-musubi knot tied around it. His shoes are black cap toe boots.

Dice has blue hair in a half mullet over his right shoulder and fuchsia eyes with a green highlight on top. He wears a hair accessory on the left side with 12 gold beads, endings in a die with a red tassel. He also has noticeably sharp canines. Dice wears a black long sleeved shirt, white ripped jeans that end above his ankle and black lace-up loafers. He has a silver belt connected to a black double belt set and a green parka coat with black fur on the lining of the hood and the Fling Posse gold star on the bottom left side.

Hifumi has a tall, skinny build with fair skin and golden brown eyes with turquoise highlights. He has blonde, teased, and layered wolf-style hair with side-parted bangs and green undersides. Hifumi wears a black dress shirt, a dark grey waistcoat, dark purple pants and brown monk strap dress shoes. His suit jacket is grey with a dark purple lapel and, occasionally, a yellow rose in the right breast pocket. He wears a silver belt with a belt buckle that seems to be two silver Gs intertwining, multiple belt chains (a shorter beaded chain, and a longer beaded with Matenro’s symbol as some of the beads), two necklaces (a shorter beaded necklace with a Matenro cross as the charm, and a longer, black necklace with a red pendant), and rings on both his index fingers, pinky and thumb.

Rosho has a pale pink skin tone, watermelon pink eyes with a green highlight on top, slicked back light indigo hair with dusty lavender streaks. He wears black wire-frame circle classes with false lenses and a silver glasses chain. On his neck, he wears a black beaded choker with a bronze charm, and a chronograph watch with silver metal a brown leather strap on his left wrist. He wears a partially unbuttoned pale lavender dress shirt with rolled-up sleeves that are held with a black strap. On top is a white, gray-purple, and midnight blue diagonal checker print sweater vest. His pants are ashy blue slacks, and his shoes are milk chocolate lace-up dress shoes. On the left side of his chest, he has a bronze pin with the Dotsuitare Hompo logo on it.

Sasara has ombre-green hair. His eyes are bright gold, although they are usually closed, which is known in Japanese media as “fox eyes” (“kitsune no me”). He has a tragus piercing on both ears. Sasara wears an orange-and-brown hound's-tooth patterned suit with a white shirt, pink tie and Derby Walker black shoes. He wears a fan shaped lapel pin. He’s also usually seen with a fan which is a common attribute for Japanese manzai comedy. (The fan is also known as a harisen).

Rei has wavy black hair and complete heterochromia; his left eye is green, whilst his right eye is grey, which is usually hidden behind his sunglasses. He has a beard and a scar on his right eye. Rei wears a maroon shirt, black fur coat, white snakeskin pants and beige shoes. He also wears black brick patterned hat with a fan-shaped clip and multiple accessories: a black belt with a gold snake buckle, a gold watch and a large gold chain.

Jyushi has a long black wolf tail mullet with yellow highlights, and bangs that cover his right eye. His eyes are electric blue with a hot pink highlight on top. He has shorter brows and wears plum purple eyeshadow. He has multiple piercings on both ears. On his left ear, he has a double conch orbital, two helixes, and a rook. On his right ear, he has four helixes and a conch. In both ears, he has a matching pair of dangling lobe earrings with the Bad Ass Temple logo. He wears a black t-shirt with two thin studded belts on top, and black leather pants. On top, he wears a gray military parade-style coat with black trim, wine red inner lining, and jasmine gold accents on the lapel, bottom trim, and sleeves. On his feet, he wears wine red combat boots with studded straps around the middle. For accessories, he wears a silver chain choker, and a few rings. On his left hand, he wears a black band on his thumb and forefinger. On his right hand, he wears a thick silver band on his forefinger and a thin silver band on his ring finger. His finger and toenails are painted black.

Kuko has short spiky hair, a noticeably smaller nose, and gold eyes with catlike pupils. His bangs used to be pushed back, which gave him a small cowlick on his left side. He also has noticeably sharp canines. He has multiple piercings on both ears. He has gauged lobes on both ears, and on his left ear he has two upper lobe piercings, an anti-tragus, a forward helix, an inner conch, and two double helixes. On his right ear, he has two upper lobe piercings, a snug, a rook, and an upper helix. His main outfit is a black sleeveless Kimono and white Juban with black capri-style harem pants. On top is a deep aqua and cream colored oversized bomber jacket with a red-orange inner lining, and gold shachihoko embroidered on the breasts. The cuffs and collar of the jacket are black with dark sand colored stripes. He also wears black combat boots which have a strap on the top with a gold buckle, a black studded belt, and a silver chain necklace. Attached to his belt is a string of black prayer beads with a purple tassel. On his left hand, he has three silver band rings: one on his index finger, ring finger, and pinky. The ring on his index finger has a chunky black gem inlaid onto it. He has three rings on his right hand as well: a black band on his index finger and two silver bands on his thumb and ring finger. His finger and toenails are painted black.

Hitoya has a warm grey mullet in a messy traditional rockabilly pompadour, light grey eyes that have green and purple highlights, a mole underneath, a single wrinkle. He has a thin chin goatee and arched eyebrows, and accentuated cheekbones. Hitoya wears a white dress shirt, wine red tie and black jeans with a dark brown belt and silver chain. He wears a cream white and midnight blue double rider jacket, sporting silver buttons and zippers, specifically on his sleeves, with the badass temple symbol on his lapel. His shoes are hightops with a black upper section and tip, a checkered pattern on the vamp, and a white mid and outer sole. Hitoya wears a silver chronograph watch that has a deep aqua face of the clock, which he sports on his left wrist.

Ichijiku has dusty red-pink hair that has side part bangs, tied with a black bow and an undercut. She has blue eyes, wears pink eyeshadow with dark red lipstick and has the Party of Words symbol tattooed on her left breast. Ichijiku wears a blue coat with a black corset, white shirt and black stockings. She wears a Party of Words jacket over her shoulders and black high-heeled boots. She carries a cane with a diamond headpiece.

Otome has a long midnight blue hime cut, with dark gray eyes that have green highlights. She wears a dark indigo capelet and open trench coat, both articles of clothing sporting pink highlights, all on top of a modest knee length navy blue skirt, and black kitten heels.

Nemu has a shoulder-length white bob with side-swept bangs and hot-pink eyes with a cyan highlight at the top. She wears a hot-pink-lined, dark indigo service cap with a gold triangle bearing the Party of Words' logo in the middle, and gold rope across the brim. She wears a navy blue double-breasted coat with gold buttons, as well as a hot-pink lined dark indigo cape with the Party of Words logo across it. Gold rope goes over Nemu's left shoulder and around to her right shoulder to hold her cape in place with a diamond-shaped, hot-pink badge bearing the Party of Word's logo. She also wears black tights, black, gold-lined boots and black gloves.

women have taken over politics, banned weapons, and enforced peace through a "Party of Words". Men fight for territory and settle disputes using "Hypnosis Mics," which are microphones that produce rap lyrics capable of directly influencing the human mind and spirit.

After war, women have taken over ruling politics in the Chuo ward and have banned and destroyed weapons. This has caused men to fight through rap battles using Hypnosis Mics, which can be used to affect people's sympathetic nerves and influence their thought process.

The Party Of Words are girls from the Chuo ward.

Nemu's speakers take the form of a pink skeleton, with seemingly "calavera" (or "sugar skull") inspired aspects. The skeleton is surrounded by flowers and wears a necklace, which resembles Nemu's bracelet, around its wrist.
