RC Sonia

Sonia the Hedgehog is a character that appears in the Sonic Underground television series. She is Sonia the Hedgehog's counterpart from an alternate dimension and one of the Royal 'Corrupt' Hedgehogs. Sonia is essentially a doppelganger of her Mobius counterpart. She wears a traditional princess-style dress and a crown. At some point in the recent past, Sonia took away the freedom of all the citizens of Mobius forcing them to deliver precious jewelry to her, or be imprisoned. Receiving notice that a Jeweler would be unable to deliver a diamond necklace to her from a Swatbot, Sonia ordered her Swatbot guards to throw them in prison. Later, while having a dress tailored for her, she was accidentally pricked by a pin from one of her subjects making the dress. Furious, Sonia ordered the citizen to be thrown on the street, which her Swatbot guards did. Soon, Sonia ordered another one of her subjects to bring her a mirror, not knowing that it was actually just an empty frame with her Mobius counterpart behind it. She made several poses in front of the frame, which her alternate counterpart mimicked perfectly. Becoming suspicious of the "mirror", Sonia blew a raspberry at it, to which her alternate counterpart refused to mimic, but rather stepped through the frame, scaring Sonia. Sonia called for her guards, but was instead met with her brother Manic, who had been captured by his alternate counterpart. Seeing this, she fainted, and was captured and brought to the throne room by her counterpart. She and her siblings were then shown what affects their tyrannical rule had on the citizens of Mobotropolis by their counterparts. Seeing a poor beggar girl on the street, Sonia had a change of heart, and gave her several of her expensive jewelry items. She and her siblings were then brought to a forest, where they held a speech, promising to change their cruel ways and lead the kingdom into a new era of peace. The beggar girl then handed her a bouquet of flowers, much to her joy. Sonia has the same personality as her Mobius counterpart, albeit darker and more self-involved. She was a vain and bossy narcissist who whined at even minor irritations, such as getting pricked with a pin while having a dress tailored for her.

After having seen how the people suffered under her and her siblings' corrupt rule, Sonia had a change of heart. Developing sympathy for her people, Sonia resolved to become a kinder and more generous ruler over her people.
