Lores/Story Setting:

• In this world, magic existed. Creatures like beastfolks, witches, demons, and fantasy creatures also exist alongside magic and they’re called demi-human. And, there’s a caste system where demi-humans at the top, while humans without magical power, aka, the Unfits, are at the bottom level of society and often treated like 2nd class citizens.
• Demi-human like beastfolks possess innate powerful strength, special ability, and instinct from their specific species. Ex: Wolf beastfolk tend to naturally gravitate into a pack, howl to communicate for long distance, sharp claws and strong bite. Merfolk, capable of living underwater, with special ability to lure in prey with their singing and allure. Birdfolk possess strong wings that let them fly, piercing screech, and melodic singing.
• Witches and demons often have much higher and suitable affinity for magic. While beastfolks are able to use magic to some extent, witches and demons can use magic for much longer due to their innately large mana capacity and have easier understanding with magic.
• Witches that are born from two ordinary Unfit humans are usually taken away by the Government to be raised under other witches.
• Vampires are part of demon subspecies, they have standard vampire ability and magic too. And modern day vampires are now capable of being in the sunlight, but it weakens their ability by 50%.
• Fairies and pixies also exist, they’re often mischievous and are schemer, they are closer Celtic and Germanic feys creatures.
• Humans are the only species incapable of magic and little to no enhancement on their strength, leaving them at the bottom of the caste. Humans can sometimes also be bought and owned legally as pets to demi-humans.
• Human Pets can only be obtained through an Adoption Agency or Human Pet Store. Any human can sign up for an Adoption Agency in hope for a match with a Demi-human owner. While Human Pet Stores are often filled with humans that were raised to become pets since birth, most are bred for it. After the age of 30, humans in the Human Pet Store will be given to the Adoption Agency to find a match, some would get put down, and some stores secretly sell the Unfit Human Pet into black market to be killed for food or sold to slavery. -There’s minimal Human Rights for normal humans/the Unfits. Demi-humans can’t kill humans without probable cause, but discrimination against humans is allowed. Which makes it hard for humans to get an education pass Highschool, unless they manage to get sponsored by a Demi-human.
• An Unfit still has a hard time finding a job after graduation. Most end up in low level entry job and never get promoted. Or, even if they get work at a company, they still stuck at the lowest position.
• Children of one demi-human and one Unfit parent are usually considered half-breed. They stand in the middle of the caste system.
• There are currently many Human Right Activists and Agencies, working for Equal Right and Anti-discrimination law against the Unfits. There are also underground rebel groups fighting for Human Rights.

Though, his parents are workaholics that care more about their job than their own kid, leaving all the childrearing to hired help instead. He won’t admit it, but he was lonely growing up, feeling unloved and ignored by his parents. Even when he misbehaved as a child, his parents didn’t care to reprimand or scold him. So, Raymond decided to seek affection and attention outside, creating a public image that everyone would love.
