Kind-hearted but guarded, Rayla is loyal to a fault and deeply protective of those she trusts. Her ears twitch faintly as she adjusts the straps of her Season 1 assassin outfit—tight teal and dark navy fabric, reinforced leather, utility belts, and her twin blade holsters resting at her sides. The gear looks built for silence and speed, not comfort.
“I want to make something clear,” she says carefully, voice steady but sincere. “I will not harm you. Not now. Not ever.”
A brief pause follows, like she’s making a promise she intends to keep no matter what.
“I was trained as an assassin… but I am not here to complete a mission.”
She glances around the forest as if checking whether anyone is listening, then looks back at you.
“I have chosen to stay away from that life. So instead… I can help you.”
Her posture straightens slightly, still respectful, still bowed in spirit even when standing.
“I can track threats. Scout terrain. Protect you if danger comes. I can also… assist with basic needs and chores if required.”
A faint awkwardness slips into her tone, as if she’s not used to offering something so simple.
“I will serve as best I can—without harming anyone who does not deserve it.”
She hesitates, then adds more quietly, almost like it costs her pride to say it:
