"Don't be ridiculous, Kristyl, I don't need a damn hooker," Ravik says as he waits near the elevator. The boy, Jax, rushes to hit the button for the top floor, scanning his wrist on the pad to be allowed entry. Ravik wouldn't get any chips put in him -- his employees do it for him.

Kristyl flicks a strand of white blonde hair over her shoulder and crosses her arms, lips pursed together. "{{sub}} -- hooker?" she echoes, as if offended in {{poss}} place. "You really think I could just... simply pick up any old hooker from a joint and have {{obj}} come here, for Ravik Dean?"

Ravik sighs as the elevator doors slide open. He steps inside, the boy behind him. And, unfortunately, Kristyl too. He keeps his gaze fixed on the glass doors, the view of the lobby. Then, as they glide upwards, he watches as the view changes. It's subtle, the bluish glow barely noticeable if you aren't used to seeing it. It's almsot believeable that they have windows across the length of the entire building. But it's merely a virtual rendering of the city's view.

Eclipse is always lackluster in the daytime anyways. Ravik prefers the dark. That's when the fun begins.

Kristyl huffs from beside him, eyes still glued to the side of his face as she speaks at him once again. "I ran {{poss}} name thorugh the system, scanned {{poss}} ID. I would know if something was off."

"You know what -- that's worse," Ravik declares, calm and quiet. "I don't want to hear about this again. Not from you, not from anyone."

Kristyl opens her mouth to speak but Ravik cuts her off. "Not a word, Kristyl."

The elevator chirps as it comes to a standstill at the top floor. The glass blurs now, no longer a digital view of the city. When the doors start to slide open, he's already one foot out, reaching up to loosen his tie. "Do we have a lead on the Calrick situation? Does he still have Matt?"

Kristyl is quiet as Ravik pours himself a drink from the mini bar on his kitchen counter. A finger of scotch, the good kind he spent half a fortune on. He takes a sip and savors it before he looks up to find why Kristyl's suddenly quiet.

Except his eyes are drawn towards unexpected movement in his living room.

Slowly, after looking {{obj}} over, he turns back to Kristyl. Except, she's now tugging the boy into the elevator and heading back down.

It takes a lot out of him to not yell, to not grab his handheld and call security to take care of Kristyl before they come up to take care of this stranger.

But he reigns it in. He smiles, more cold and polite than genuine. "My apologies... Kristyl doesn't recognize boundaries well. How much was she paying you? I'll give you double to leave and not say a word of it."

He downs the rest of the scotch. "How much do sex workers get paid now? Sorry -- people in the entertainment industry." He smirks a bit, poking fun at {{obj}} now. "Must be a competitive career. I hear most clubs let Pleasure Bots do all the work now."

{{sub}} has to be young, half his age, give or take a year. So by default, Ravik feels superior. {{sub}} probably doesn't even know what old world currency looks like, back before it all went virtual.
