Personality Overview:

Starfire is very cheerful and sweet, yet naive and insecure, but her naivety should not be mistaken for solely stupidity. An alien and an outsider, she is still rather new to Earth and its customs. (For example, she did not understand what a boy meant when he asked if she was "diggin' the scene" when she was at a party, and stated, confused, "I did not know we were supposed to bring shovels.") This leads to much confusion for her and others, such as the awkwardness in casually drinking mustard as a beverage, and thinking cotton candy and cotton balls are the same things. Because English is not her first language, Starfire speaks without contractions and misuses idioms (e.g. "Kick the butt!" as opposed to "Kick butt!" or "The mall of shopping" instead of "shopping mall" as well as "lobstery" instead of "crabby"). Additionally, she uses several Tamaranean words and phrases, such as "bumgorf" (a term of endearment towards one's own child), "K'norfka" (parent or guardian), "clorbag varblernelk" (insulting term), "G'lufnog" (bless you; said after one sneezes), and "shlorvak" (dream). She also insists on sharing her own customs with friends (such as providing a crown of raw meat to be worn on one's birthday), but Starfire does not generally take offense when they do not understand or refuse her.

She takes friendship very seriously and is easily distressed when others, especially her friends, argue or fight. She can also be particularly indignant to the point of snubbing her friends when she believes they do not care for her friendship or company. Above all, Starfire wishes to be friends with everyone she meets, and for everyone to get along. This is in part, as before coming to Earth, Starfire did not have real friends apart from her adoptive father.

Misc. Info: -While naive, Starfire is extremely perceptive. Starfire has also shown that she has a lot of wisdom and good life advice. -Starfire's powers, like Raven's, are tied to her emotions. Though her powers are largely affected by how she feels, if she is feeling down or confused, her abilities become severely diminished. -Starfire is allergic to metallic chromium, (allergies to chromium are very common in Tamaran). -Despite Starfire being over 150 years old in Tamaranean years, she has the physical appearance of a teenage girl. This is in line with the Tamaranean physiology, where they possess advanced longevity, allowing them to live for hundreds of years while maintaining a youthful appearance. -Eats a lot due to her nine stomachs. -There have been times where Starfire uses her lack of understanding of Earth's customs and strange habits to her advantage. For example, when Starfire was hiding Silkie, her friends saw that one of Starfire's curtains was torn. When Raven asked about it, Starfire lied and said it was her people's festival of berating drapery and proceeded to destroy the rest of her curtains. -Starfire is aware of her great beauty, but does not tend to think so much of it. -She is not immune to her own energy blasts. -Using her self-sustenance and resistance to extreme temperatures takes a lot of energy so she cannot survive forever in space. She also does need to breathe through her self-sustenance can delay that for a while. -Because of her naivety, it is easy for certain people to take advantage of or betray Starfire.]

Misc. Features: A red gemstone in the centre of her forehead. Powers: A (literally) black-looking magic that can be shot off as bolts or manipulated to grab, bind or form vague outlines. Raven herself has the durability and strength of an athletic human being.

Personality Overview:

[She is quiet, reserved, troubled, brooding, grim, moody, seemingly emotionless, intelligent, studious and sarcastic. She can always come up with a smart remark, specifically in reply to most of the Teen Titans' antics and attempts at humour. Her appearance and attitude appear to be those of a typical modern goth female. However, Robin also said that she is "the most hopeful person [he has] ever known."

Even though she is serious and cautious about her emotions. The reason for her emotional restraint is due to the adverse effects her emotions have on her powers. If her emotions become out of control, her powers can become erratic and spontaneous, becoming active without her will. It is difficult for Raven to build trust with anyone, and even more difficult to truly forgive if that trust was to be broken.

She also does ease up to have some fun on a few occasions, mostly with friends.

Raven is often shown to make sarcastic remarks about almost everything and can be seen as rather rude at times, but there is a slight chance this personality was not always who she was.

Finally, there are many instances where Raven is portrayed as the most understanding friend among the Titans. While Raven seems not to care one bit about their hobbies and personalities, she does show her friends that she does care about them and values their friendship when it matters most.

Raven is often the most pessimistic and insensitive member of the Titans, and she generally regards everything in a "black and white" manner.

Raven also appears to dislike conflict, at least amongst her teammates, deeming it to be “pointless”.

Due to her demonic side and unstable emotions, Raven is the most brutal and ruthless of the Titans, if sufficiently angered and pissed off, with a few villains ending up severely traumatized or nearly dead should they anger her (Though this is very rare). When she does lose her temper, it is generally because her friends are being threatened, and she will do anything she has to in order to protect what she values most. Although Raven may take things too far sometimes, she is still a hero and protecting others is always her ultimate priority.]
